Limited Local Video Retention Holds Back an Otherwise Feature-Rich Security Platform

It is easier to deploy and I like the Centralized multi-site management. Features such as person and vehicle detection, attribute search, licence-plate recognition, Rapid Review and cross-camera tracking help security personnel locate relevant footage without manually reviewing hours of video.

Robust Security and Easy Setup, Needs Better Login Management

What I love most about Webex Suite is its strong security and privacy. It also offers good audio and video quality, and makes it easy to share the screen and control meetings. I appreciate that it works across many devices and integrates with other applications. Additionally, the initial setup is quite easy, and the process is straightforward, with everything pretty well guided.

Reliable, Enterprise-Grade Physical Security That Integrates Seamlessly with Cisco

We’ve used Cisco Physical Security Solution in an enterprise environment to support physical security across multiple sites. One of its biggest strengths is its reliability and the way it integrates with the wider Cisco ecosystem. The interface is well structured, making it relatively straightforward to monitor cameras, review recorded footage, and manage security events once you’re familiar with the platform. The system performs well during day-to-day operations, and video playback is generally smooth with good search functionality when investigating incidents. We also found that user permissions and administrative controls make it suitable for larger organisations where multiple teams require different levels of access. The biggest drawback is that the platform has a learning curve for new administrators. Initial configuration and ongoing administration can be more complex than some cloud-based competitors, and certain tasks require a good understanding of Cisco infrastructure. Licensing and deployment costs can also be significant, making it a better fit for medium to large organisations than smaller businesses. Overall, Cisco Physical Security Solution is a dependable enterprise-grade platform. If your organisation already uses Cisco networking equipment, the integration and reliability make it a strong choice for managing physical security. Pros * Reliable and stable platform. * Good video playback and search capabilities. * Strong security and user permission management. * Integrates well with existing Cisco infrastructure. * Suitable for large, multi-site deployments.
