Customer Support for Splunk (not just for RUM but overall) is great.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Splunk Real User Monitoring? When we were moving away from app dynamic, we had two options in mind - Splunk & Datadog. We were already using Splunk for Log Monitoring, so we thought of going with the same for IT infra monitoring & RUM... But, we quickly realise Datadog was better option for us. Ease of installation, better UI (my own preference) , and much more options to play with , gave Datadog edge over Splunk... We still use Splunk for log monitoring, but IT infra monitoring and RUM is handled by Datadog for us. There was some pricing issue as well (if I'm remembering correctly. But maybe I'm mistaken)... So, for the breif time we used Splunk RUM, it did help us with solving few SUP / Client reported cases. It also helped in getting info on which page users were spending more time.. I like that it gives us comprehensive visibility into the real user experience by capturing and analyzing data from actual user interactions. This helps us to identify performance bottlenecks quickly and figure out areas ofimprovement across the entire application stack. It makes it easy to detect issues as they occur, allowing us to respond quickly and effectively before users are significantly impacted.
