Powerful, Accurate, but Challenging to Learn

I find the Sigrity X Platform to be powerful and accurate. It's easy to use, which is really helpful for my tasks. It gives clear results, which is crucial for my work involving signal and power integrity and PCB performance checks.

Performance-Focused: Fast parallel simulation cuts design verification time by half.

What I like most is how it supports simultaneous Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis within a single, unified workspace. The ability to run power-aware parallel bus simulations means we’re no longer evaluating SI and PI in separate silos. The user interface also does a good job of bridging the gap between our layout team and the analysis experts. With direct visual feedback on the canvas for impedance variation and voltage drop, we can address most of our standard PDN issues on the fly while routing, instead of treating analysis as a final, passive checklist.

Automated Meshing Powerhouse with Python API

I use the Fidelity CFD Platform primarily for simulating aerodynamic flows and optimizing turbomachinery designs. I really like its unmatched meshing automation combined with a modern user interface. The platform's automated process has saved me a lot of time by making it easy to mesh complex boundaries seamlessly, and it handles previously tedious tasks like turning weeks of CAD cleanup and manual grid tweaking into a one-hour task. Additionally, the Python API integration is fantastic for automating workflows. This combination is a game-changer as it eliminates simulation bottlenecks, enables headless, background execution to run numerous design variations, and instantly generates uniform reports across hundreds of simulations, which helps remove human error and ensures team-wide standardization while reducing the overall engineering cycle times.
