AgeShield checks for expired IDs, runs fake ID checks and gives staff the information they need to make the final entry or sale decision. Scanning continues to work offline, so a weak connection does not hold up the door or checkout line.
Every scan flows into the AgeShield Hub, giving owners and managers a clear view of activity across venues and devices. Teams can recognize returning guests, maintain shared Banned and VIP lists and flag a banned guest wherever they are scanned. Multi-venue operators can manage locations from one dashboard.
AgeShield also creates a documented audit trail of every ID check. The exportable audit log records scans, staff decisions and setting changes, including who performed them and when, giving venues a clear record for incident review, inspections and disputes.
Privacy and security are built into the platform. Venues choose which guest details are captured and how long they are retained, including storing no guest details at all. Guest data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and role-based permissions control what each team member can access. Retention can be configured for up to 2 years on Core or 5 years on Pro.
Every plan includes three devices scanning at the same time, so venues can cover the door, bar and servers from the start without paying for dedicated scanner hardware at every station. All devices work from the same Banned list and venue records.
