**What do you like best about Zoho BugTracker?**

Zoho has a unique ability to look at problems and create solutions for companies from a workflow point of view. They don't develop products which are half thought and/or applicable to one industry. They TRULLY create SOLUTIONS. The zoho bugtracker is a perfect example of such a solution. 

This solution allows you create a webform which is connected to the client side to help collect issues. Then in the dashboard assign users, projects and tasks. Track the progress and let the client track it all along the way. And this is probably only 18% of its full capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Zoho BugTracker?**

The only thing I would like to see is the webform pick up the URL automatically.

We have multiple products which we have developed for clients and provide support for those products. This helps us consolidate into 1.

No plan for unlimited storage, maybe Zoho can add more storage. because I will use these tools for a long time

**What do you like best about Zoho BugTracker?**

I have been searching for a long time for a cloud software that integrated project management, issues/bugs tracking, custommer help desk (through email and portal) and timesheets management. And was hoping to find that at a reasonable price. I found that at Zogho Bugtracker
Another benefit is integration with other Zoho software which we depend on such as Zoho People (Zoho HR software)

**What do you dislike about Zoho BugTracker?**

It would have been great if we would enter administrative time (non-project time) into timesheets and also have timesheets display vacations and holidays extracted from Zoho People (our HR software)

**What do you like best about Zoho BugTracker?**

Zoho BugTracker is great. My company uses Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk, Zoho Projects and integrating Zoho Bugtracker between Zoho Desk and Zoho Projects and using Zoho Cliq to automatically report on status changes has streamlined our product support & maintenance life-cycle. Client tickets within Zoho Desk can immediately be filed as bugs and fed through to Zoho Projects for evaluation, planning and resolution. And with BugTracker, each update to the bug is automatically visible throughout. Zoho BugTracker has become an essential daily tool.

**What do you dislike about Zoho BugTracker?**

There's not really much negative I can say regarding Zoho BugTracker. As far as bugtracking software goes, Zoho BugTracker isn't lacking in features, nor reliability.

It would be great if the mobile version of Zoho Desk had the ability to file bugs through BugTracker directly to Zoho Projects though. Also, Zoho Desk Ticket attachments are not automatically attached to Zoho Project Issues created with BugTracker. This would be a great future addition. And lastly, the ability to file a bug directly from a Support Consultant's response and not only from a Client Message would be very useful. This is another requested feature and the great support department at Zoho actually do pay attention to client suggestions and feedback.

If you're looking for an all-round, top-class BugTracker, Zoho Bugtracker, when used with Zoho Desk & Zoho Projects, is a great tool and will be a valuable addition to your business

As a software-as-a-service company that hosts the administration software for hundreds of schools in South Africa, as well as a communication software company with leading communication tools for communities such as schools and businesses, we receive hundreds of support requests on a daily basis. Due to the size and complexity of our software, a large amount of these requests are based around system bugs or changes to the educational regulations. Zoho BugTracker and Zoho Desk & Zoho Projects have become the core from where we manage and resolve these requests. So in short, Zoho BugTracker has greatly assisted us in managing bugs, tracking their status through various channels and utlimately supporting our vitally important client-base.

**What do you like best about Zoho BugTracker?**

The notifications system is great. With my last bugtracker, Trac, it was difficult to know exactly what bugs needed my attention. Zoho is very robust in its notification system. It can email you with replies to tickets, you can use the website, and/or you can use the smartphone app to see what tickets need your attention. It's a very robust system.

**What do you dislike about Zoho BugTracker?**

Nothing yet. I suppose the learning curve takes a little while to accomplish. The UI of the tracker is pretty intuitive, so you can pretty much guess how things works and chances are you'll be right.

**What problems is Zoho BugTracker solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have multiple software projects that I collaborate with multiple people on. In Zoho, you can setup projects, assign users to those projects, define their roles, and so on. I can setup workflows for how my team handles incoming tickets, I can setup custom statuses and fields on tickets and customize it to how I need. The way it displays tickets and information is very streamlined. I also like that aside from adding comments to a ticket, you can also instant-message people about a specific ticket for quick-responses. Comments are sort of like emails, which take longer, whereas IM'ing your team usually gets faster conversations and faster resolutions. When viewing a ticket, you can view the specific IM conversation that took place between your team.

i brought this application from my previous experience from another company 
gladly the application was positively accepted by the Dev team

I came with this idea of using Bug tracker to a factory that didn't track any bugs in the software with any tool (beside emails) , so all the features that make track bugs. Edit. Assign them to specific people are new here and well accepted. I opened two projects with different teams and both were truly happy to finally use something that help them day by day
Most of them were thrilled with the simplicity of the user experience and how it changed their way of work

Zoho bug tracker consists of several premium features and they give these services for free. Examples of email notifications, creating a project for the workplace.
Bug documentation is very much simple in the Zoho Bug Tracker.
It provides the simple User Interface which is very nice looking
The documents, image attachment feature for bug documentation is very much useful.

**What do you dislike about Zoho BugTracker?**

Restricted to add only 5 team members including the administrator of the product.
After deactivating the user, the administrator cannot add the user back to the project.
Should provide a free version of the product with the existing features, but better to increase the number of users that can be added in to project as well as the reactivating the user function with any limit.

If you are looking for a product which provides services to document the bug and identify the bugs which are done or in progress this is the best tool.

Send email notifications to clients for different occasions occurring amid the issue tracking life cycle inside a project. we can choose when to notify and who to be advised. Also we can create custom workflows, statuses, and fields to tailor BugTracker to our needs.

We use it in our organization for setting business rules to automatically trigger actions for bug events and also S]select events to send email notifications to assignees, reporters and other users. Also to gain insights about the progress of the bugs filed in a project with a visually appealing bug status report.

Flexible pricing makes it much easier to maintain for a small company (10+ users) than Jira, other than that it's a very similar tool - which is all we need.

**What do you dislike about Zoho BugTracker?**

The layout and UI feel a bit old-school. With Jira reworking their visuals and UX feel, BugTracker falls short in my opinion.

I really love the Kanban view which the students have found pretty helpful. I have also liked the interactive forum for all the users to be able to effectively communicate with each other. I think the best thing is its reasonable pricing which helps us reach out to a large group of guardians regarding different projects. It's very simple and easy to use. 

**What do you dislike about Zoho BugTracker?**

The notifying feature is  not the best as sometimes it can appear as though you are being spammed by unnecessary alerts and notes. Other than that I also think that it can be a little difficult to configure it sometimes. 

**Recommendations to others considering Zoho BugTracker:**

Really good for small scale users, so if you are one, check it out!

We have often used it manage the smaller applications that our group of mentees creates, and also to manage some small scale projects which helps the students delve into professional simulated environment.  It is very similar to JIRA without asking for the price of it, so it's great.

It's honestly worked out perfectly for our uses - no complaints.

It's extremely affordable and truly a one-stop shop for tracking needs when it comes to catching bugs or site issues before they become a negative impact on the bottomline. I recommend having a few (or one, depending on your company size) user(s) to management, as the interface makes PM'ing easy, all in one place.

Ensuring that bugs or site glitches don't go undetected. Often times we'd find out there was an issues because it impacted the client's KPIs. Now we are detecting and resolving so quickly that there's rarely instance of the issue impacting site or media goals.

Need more custom fields to be more creative.

I've tried a number of bug tracking softwares over the years, some self hosted and more like version tracking than bug tracking but I find Zoho bug tracker to be simple and easy to use while also not being short of features

**What do you dislike about Zoho BugTracker?**

Can be a little cumbersome and seems to log me out often when i have saved my details. I also feel the email notifications can be somewhat annoying as I don't really need an email sending to me when I submit an error, obviously I know this issue has been logged as I have just logged it. I also like the communication history as it makes it easy to see where each bug is.

The auto summary of features, known bugs and fixes per milestone is very useul

Give it a try as a free product you couldn't ask for more.

I manage the development of our new software product. I have a team of developers in India and a team of support staff in the UK to manage and communicate with. Zoho Bug Tracker gives us all the ability to communicate easily with each other across various topics, previously this could get confusing as we had to correlate each email chain correctly. With Zoho Bug Tracker in place it has been easy to keep a track of the issues raised by support and collate this with the information and fixes provided by our development team. This has made it much easier to resolve issues and keep out customers happy

The product is very JIRAesque and can be customized to fit your workflow. The problem is no one in their support team is trained on how to help people with it. When I reached out they acted like we were the first company to ask for help with it. 

**What do you dislike about Zoho BugTracker?**

Customer support isn't really well trained. It's really hard to get someone that knows what they're talking about on the phone - I would always call explain what I needed help with about 5 times to 5 different people and end up figuring it out myself.

Don't use Zoho - they are doing way too much and their products end up lacking.

Tracking bugs reported by users. Didn't really have any benefits because it took so much work to set up.
