"Robust Real-Time Infrastructure Monitoring with Helpful Alerts and Reports"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zabbix?

Real time infrastructure management with agent and non-agent based monitoring solution. Dashboard for representing infrastructure, support for integration of cross platform devices. Robust performance, Free ware, excellent community for support and troubleshooting. Report generation and email-based alerts are very helpful. Customisable dashboard as per ease of use. Intelligent handeling of alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zabbix?

Difficult to visually monitor entire infrastructure at a time, cannot differentiate between important and less priority alerts unless specified. Database hangs sometimes in case of overload and need mysql reboot. Key configuration is difficult procedure and need lot of learning about regular expressions. "Powerful, Flexible Monitoring with Highly Customizable Dashboards and Alerts"
4/5
What do you like best about Zabbix?

I have been using Zabbix for monitoring servers, network devices, VMware infrastructure, and services, and overall it is a powerful open-source monitoring solution for enterprise environments.

What I like most is its flexibility and wide monitoring support. It supports Linux servers, Windows systems, SNMP devices, VMware, cloud services, custom scripts, and application monitoring in a single platform. The dashboard and alerting system are highly customizable, and the proxy architecture helps in monitoring remote locations efficiently.

The template-based monitoring saves a lot of time, especially for infrastructure monitoring. Integration support for AWS, VMware, databases, APIs, and notification platforms like Slack and Telegram is also very useful.

One downside is that the initial setup and trigger configuration can be complex for beginners. The UI feels slightly outdated in some areas, and fine-tuning alerts requires experience to avoid excessive notifications. Many users in the community also mention the learning curve and configuration complexity.

Overall, Zabbix is an excellent monitoring tool for system administrators and enterprises looking for a scalable and cost-effective monitoring solution with advanced customization capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zabbix?

What I dislike about Zabbix is that the initial configuration and trigger setup can be complex for new users. The interface could be more modern, and managing alerts in large environments sometimes requires additional tuning and database optimization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Can Zabbix handle large scale monitoring smoothly ?"
4/5
What do you like best about Zabbix?

It is an open source monitoring tool used in Linux and it is used by our customer support to monitoring the servers. It is open source it is free which makes it a good tool to work with. We can customize the Dashboard and alerts as per our need using this tool. It is scalable and also reflects the history trends which is useful for us. It is easy to use if someone has knowledge of Linux. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zabbix?

Setup and configuration is tough for the new joiners. If I used to set the alerts some times it's tricky to implement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Integration with Unmatched Visibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Zabbix?

I really like Zabbix's ability to integrate with everything I have. It's very easy to integrate network devices, databases, or anything that supports SNMP or data sending. The integration feature stands out to me because I can easily integrate things like a UPS battery using SNMP. The features related to integration, such as alerting in Microsoft Teams, workflows, and email alerting, are very easy for me to use. The setup was super easy, like a play of a kid, with a very straightforward step-by-step process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zabbix?

I can see some dashboards with how my management want with data that is not possible with so yeah that could be improved. It didn't meet my expectations. My suggestion is if there's a possibility to add some widgets that can make that possible, then it would be amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexibility and real-time alerts: the best free option for IT and Cloud"
5/5
What do you like best about Zabbix?

It is a free editing tool, with great flexibility and many nodes to monitor, it allows you to discover almost everything on IT and Cloud platforms, and the best part is its real-time alert system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zabbix?

A lot of Linux knowledge is needed to take advantage of and adjust everything necessary for the good management of Zabbix. Deploying agents when there are many can become a bit tedious, and finally, improve its graphical interface a bit more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

3. It only works well when you bolt on 3rd party mods

4. The support is far to expensive for the poor service it provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intimidating But Feature Rich"
5/5
What do you like best about Zabbix?

I will start by saying Zabbix was not easy to implement and not easy to integrate, even for our advanced systems administration team.

I will say that once we got it up and running, we don't know how we lived without it and it is super easy to use.

We use it every single day to track packet loss, agent uptime, internet status, hard drive space, printer metrics, basically anything we can think of, Zabbix has a way for us to track it either directly with a Zabbix agent or via some sort of API.

There is no customer support, it's all on you! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Zabbix?

Now that we're through the setup and have everything up and running, nothing at all! It's great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
