We pay teams across four countries and XTRM makes it feel like one payroll. The wallet architecture lets us fund once and route payments to Nepal, Colombia, Guatemala, and Brazil without dealing with individual wire transfers or correspondent bank headaches. Currency exchange is handled on-platform with transparent rates, so we're not getting surprised by hidden FX fees. The biggest upside is time. What do you dislike about Xtrm? Honestly not much. A native QuickBooks integration would save us a reconciliation step, but the export formats are clean enough that it's not a big lift. Before XTRM, cross-border payments meant juggling multiple bank relationships, eating hidden FX fees, and spending hours on compliance paperwork. XTRM consolidated all of that into one platform. We fund a single account, route payments wherever they need to go, and have a clear audit trail for every transaction. It turned a painful back-office process into something we barely think about. Diane and the XTRM support team were very helpful when a partner sales rep sent SPIFF money to the wrong account. XTRM helped us get the funds back into our account, and we quickly redirect it to the partner sales rep. What do you dislike about Xtrm? This is not a dislike, but a recommendation to assign unique ids to account number (SPN or PAT) and wallet ids. We had one case where the partner sales rep put in PAT and her wallet id, and it turned out to be a valid PAT account number. As a result the fund was transferred to the wrong account. The most impressive thing about Xtrm is how it stays out of the way while doing the heavy lifting. At Channelscaler, we needed a way to move money globally based on specific CRM triggers without building a fintech department from scratch. Xtrm’s API is clean, and their "one-to-many" payment logic is exactly how a product person would design a system. I don't have to worry about the logistics of 150+ countries or currency conversions; we just trigger the payout, and Xtrm handles the tax compliance and delivery. By integrating Xtrm directly into our ecosystem, we’ve turned payouts into a frictionless event. The big win for us is the automation. Because it’s linked to our CRM, there’s no manual data entry or messy spreadsheets. It has saved our ops team dozens of hours a month and, more importantly, it makes Channelscaler look like a much more polished, professional platform to our end users. It has a simple, user-friendly design that’s easy to understand, and there are no fees—or at least the fees are quite low. Because of that, it’s a good option for receiving international payments. It’s quite confusing that XTRM doesn’t provide an “account number” for making deposits and instead relies only on your email address. I was looking for a user-friendly platform that didn’t charge fees (or at least kept them very low) and that would let me receive both dollars and euros, then transfer those funds to my main accounts (for example, Bank of America in the USA) without complications or too many steps. I like that I can receive my dollars from the GameTester platform. It's quite safe and easy to transfer to US banks, the transfer arrives quickly, and the fees are quite low. The best part is that I can withdraw my money to gift cards, prepaid debit cards, and more. I can even withdraw to local banks in other countries, like in my case, Colombia.
