We are using Milestone Xprotect Corporate version. The UI makes Xprotect stand out as an easy-to-use product compared to other VMS tools available in the market. Compared to other tools we used so far, we found no lagging issues with Milestone XProtect. camera driver issues are constantly addressed by milestone so that any new camera model can easily be allocated in to the VMS software. We have integrated the Veracity and awiros application along with milestone xprotect for command & control setup and video analytics. there was a smooth integration. We had some technical issues and their team helped us work through them efficiently. The dashboard is another highlight; it's very user-friendly and enables multiple users to access the cameras they need without being overwhelmed by events. It's also worth mentioning that the setup felt pretty close to plug and play, especially after the support team helped us figure out which MAC address was needed. In our line of business we need to be able to check historically (3 months back) if any incident have occured, and Xprotext Expert is great to work with. We use a centralized server so we are able to check the video surveillance remotely. We also need to check live if anything is not working as intended, and the quick login process makes it very effective to check if everyting is in order at the site where the surveillance is. What works best for me is how well it handles multiple camera feeds without slowing down. I can monitor different locations from one place and switch between views easily. The system feels stable even during long hours of continuous use which is important for security operations. The scalability of the Xprotect architecture is what has allowed our security operation to grow from a handful of cameras to a enterprise wide deployment without replacing any of the foundational infrastructure we built on initially. Adding new sites and camera feeds into an existing installation is straightforward enough that our facilities team handles routine expansions independently without pulling in specialist integrators for every change. The open platform approach has also meant that hardware choices have remained ours to make rather than being dictated by a closed ecosystem that limits options and inflates costs over time. The licensing model adds a layer of cost complexity that requires careful planning and can produce surprises during expansion if device counts are not tracked meticulously from the outset. Managing physical security across multiple sites with different camera infrastructures and no unified monitoring layer was creating blind spots that our security team could not confidently account for during incident investigations. Xprotect consolidated everything into one management interface and the ability to pull footage from any site without switching between systems has meaningfully improved both our incident response capability and the quality of the evidence our security team can produce when an investigation requires it. Insurance and compliance conversations have also become considerably more straightforward since we can demonstrate consistent monitoring coverage across our entire estate rather than describing a patchwork of disconnected systems. I also wanted to add that we really appreciate the speed, understanding, and problem solving of your technical support. There are no initial dislikes from our Company regarding the service. 1 dislike that is minor, is the management client is not as simplistic as the smart client, but this could also be because I am still learning the smart client in its entirety.
