That value proposition was the main reason I purchased it. **What do you dislike about WP Time Capsule?** In my experience, the main problem was reliability. The real-time backup feature, which was the main reason I bought the product, never worked correctly on my site and remained unresolved for about a year. Support was also very slow, with replies often taking weeks, and communication eventually became very poor. On top of that, I requested a refund after the product failed to deliver the core functionality I paid for, and that process has also remained unresolved. I also tested it on a server with above-average resources, including 48 MB/s I/O, so this did not feel like a low-resource environment issue. **What problems is WP Time Capsule solving and how is that benefiting you?** WP Time Capsule was supposed to solve the problem of keeping a WordPress site continuously protected through real-time and incremental backups, while reducing the load compared to traditional full backups. That was the benefit I was looking for: more frequent protection, less server impact, and better peace of mind. Unfortunately, in my experience, it did not consistently deliver those benefits on my site because the real-time backup functionality never worked reliably. ### 2. Both the free and Pro versions are easy to use and do a good job of automating backups. I like the calendar style backup browser, and it's a good tool for managing client sites. **What do you dislike about WP Time Capsule?** It seemed to create huge database entries, which I assume was my fault for not adjusting the settings correctly, but it wasn't clear what best practice was. My site slowed down, and storage began to run out fast. **What problems is WP Time Capsule solving and how is that benefiting you?** WordPress sites need backing up, and protecting from updates that go wrong. This achieves that and more.
