While Workday Financial Management is very powerful, some processes can feel less intuitive or require extra steps, and reporting customization can sometimes be limited, so having more flexibility and easier navigation would improve the user experience. Navigation could be improved by simplifying menus and reducing the number of clicks needed to access commonly used reports or tasks. For reporting, more drag-and-drop customization, easier filtering options, and the ability to save personalized report layouts would make it faster to generate the insights I need without relying on IT or advanced configurations. The setup of core HR and payroll data was straightforward due to clear guidance and templates, but customizing reports and configuring complex workflows presented challenges that required extra time and support.
