&lt;p&gt;For paying subscribers, I’d trust Ghost or MemberSpace most because billing and member management are core to the product rather than add-ons. Churn handling is where I’d look hardest, especially failed payments, cancellations, and how easily you can reach at-risk members before they leave.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The involuntary-churn point adds an important layer to the growth-versus-monetization discussion. Getting subscribers is only half the job if failed payments quietly eat recurring revenue later. Cards expire and payments fail, and whether the platform retries and emails the member automatically makes a real difference to monthly revenue without you doing anything. MemberSpace gets consistent praise for the payment management side, which is the piece that quietly protects income.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Patreon is great for turning an existing fanbase into paying members but it doesn&#39;t do much to help you grow. beehiiv is kind of the opposite, decent growth tools built in but you&#39;re paying for the privilege. Depends whether your problem is finding subscribers or converting the ones you already have.&lt;/p&gt;
