## About Wordnerds
Wordnerds is a UK-based SaaS company whose mission is to teach computers to read—and genuinely understand—language. 80% of the world’s data exists in the form of unstructured text. Big businesses are bombarded daily by millions of tweets, emails, webchats, online reviews, survey results, CRM-entries, news articles and forum posts written by, for and about them. But language is weird, unpredictable, colloquial, fluid, sarcastic and entirely dependent on context. It’s hard to make sense of and, for most organisations, totally invisible. Traditional &quot;social listening&quot; software does a great job at managing channels and understanding quantitative data—likes, shares and impressions, demographics—but has never been good at understanding the text. Their word clouds are meaningless and their abstract sentiment scores are unactionable. Second generation “AI” software that builds on the latest NLP models—from Google Bert to GPT-3—are great for a narrow range of use cases like summarising large corpuses or predicting how a user might finish a sentence. But they require manual model-training by advanced (expensive!) data scientists. Wordnerds is different. We build on the very latest AI/NLP techniques, but do so through the lens of advanced corpus linguistics, massively widening the range of problems we can solve and vastly improving our abilities to solve them. The result is a user-trainable model that genuinely understands language. We group ideas by meaning—not vocabulary—and link sentiment to topics. **What do you like best about Wordnerds?**

Word Nerds has significantly enhanced our analysis of employee questions, comments, and feedback for our annual fiscal year kickoff event. What used to be a manual exercise of categorizing and sorting responses into themes has been streamlined into a few simple clicks. The integrated sentiment analysis has eliminated manual reviewer bias, and the ability to add context (and exclusions) helps differentiate key words used to express different concepts and themes. This transformation has turned a multi-resource, weeks-long exercise into a task that takes mere minutes.

**What do you dislike about Wordnerds?**

The downloadable data exports could use some tuning as they take some effort to clean up and use efficiently. Contextual themes rely on a minimum data threshold, which may not be feasible for smaller projects based on volume. Additionally, there is no generative AI summary, which I'd hope to see in the product roadmap to augment the quantifiable results the platform is best known for.

Word Nerds AI is solving several key problems related to the analysis of employee questions, comments, and feedback. Traditionally, this process involved manually categorizing and sorting responses into themes, which was time-consuming and prone to reviewer bias. With Word Nerds AI, this task has been streamlined into a few simple clicks, significantly reducing the time and resources required. The integrated sentiment analysis eliminates manual reviewer bias, ensuring a more objective evaluation of feedback. Additionally, the tool's ability to add context and exclusions helps differentiate key words used to express different concepts and themes, providing more accurate insights.

The benefits of using Word Nerds AI are substantial. What used to be a multi-resource, weeks-long exercise has been reduced to mere minutes, allowing for more efficient and timely analysis. This efficiency not only saves time but also enables quicker decision-making based on the feedback received. The tool's capabilities in handling large volumes of data make it particularly valuable for large-scale projects, although it does have some limitations for smaller projects due to the minimum data threshold required for contextual themes. Overall, Word Nerds AI has greatly improved the accuracy, efficiency, and objectivity of our feedback analysis process.

**What do you like best about Wordnerds?**

The interface is easy to understand and uploading information is straightforward. The analysis options on the site are strong (particularly Deep Dive) but users can extract data for their own analysis if required. Users can also train our own themes so are not restricted to out of the box options. We are well supported with a dedicated account manager. WordNerds are constantly developing the product and new features have been launched we started using it.

**What do you dislike about Wordnerds?**

Can't think of anything, it's easy to use and has all the functionality I need.

**What problems is Wordnerds solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Specific examples include the prioritisation of a long list of unresolved complaints, based on the subject matter and sentiment, cross-referenced with our own vulnerability data. We have also integrated text analytics of the first contact in a complaint with other knowledge of the customer to build a model that predicts the likelihood of escalation (e.g. to Ombudsman). Aside from this we have used it to identify niche subjects (e.g. impact of climbing plants) and correlate with their impact on other issues (e.g. damp & mould).

**What do you like best about Wordnerds?**

Wordnerds provides PHS Group with valuable sentiment analysis, which allows us to create actionable insights and continually improve our customer journey. The Wordnerds team provide outstanding customer support and are always available to answer any questions we may have, I couldnt recommend them highly enough

**What do you dislike about Wordnerds?**

The only aspect that I feel could be improved currently would be the extract function. Altough the extract provides all the detail needed, this detail is grouped together and does not always provide immediate ease of use

**What problems is Wordnerds solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wordnerds has allowed us to gather valuable insight behind customer feedback, specifically Complaints & NPS.  This insight has allowed us to fully understand the reasons behind customer dissatisfaction and improve the overall customer journey. The insight we have gathered using the Wordnerds platform has also allowed us to idenfity key cancellation indicators through historic customer feedback, which in-turn has allowed us to create a predictive chrun model and hopefully reduce the risk of future cancellations

**What do you like best about Wordnerds?**

Wordnerds makes it incredibly easy to look at qualitative data we receive, particularly from resident surveys. It has given my team increased visibility of what our residents are saying and allows us to act on this feedback to improve our services, so I regularly use the platform. The reporting feature is also very intuitive and helps me sumamrise my findings so I can share this with colleagues.

The Wordnerds team are incredibly professional and available to help whenever I need. I would highly recommend Wordnerds!

I cannot think of any criticisms of Wordnerds. The team act on all feedback received to constantly improve and update the platform where necessary.

**What do you like best about Wordnerds?**

I've been working with Wordnerds since 2019 and cannot thank the team enough for their reliable, fast and super-friendly service. Apart from the regular reports we receive which have substantially grown in its audience reach in TfW over the past and are therfore integral to decision-makers across the organisation, I have been working with the team at Wordnerds in numerous research projects where they have been a trusted partner in analysing qualitative survey results.
Over the past few months, I've also experienced first-hand how the team continuosly develop their offerings and research to develop products and services that drive forward human intelligence in the transport sector.

**What do you dislike about Wordnerds?**

I genuinely cannot think of anything I dislike. It'd be great to have it in/for German or Welsh in the future.

WordNerds is a great investment. Both in terms of a technical platform that allows you to easily dig deeper into qual data and draw upon quantative aspects of themes and trends over time. And also in terms of friendly service and informative panels/discussions/enewsletters from the whole team. Overall a great service

We just wish WordNerds had more charity clients so we could bounce ideas around :)

This is a tool that could be ideal for any company in these times, as it allows to analyze customer comments and provide complete analysis of them to know the reactions of each customer about the company or product launched to the market, it is a solution that has qualified professionals and quite advanced identification systems, its interface does not require more knowledge and its accessibility and adaptability to your brand is very fast.

I have no complaints with this solution, its system allows to identify trends and preferences of the clients, reducing heavy work to the professionals and operational costs to the companies.

It allows us to identify the preferences of our customers or even non-customers of our website and social networks, as it is able to analyze and process large amounts of text, allowing us to improve our marketing campaigns and respond efficiently with more successful strategies.

**What do you like best about Wordnerds?**

As an Insight Executive I use Wordnerds a lot of the time to understand the why behind the data we're seeing. Its a super useful tool to be able to quickly find customers sentiment and volume of conversation around certain topics - which can then be fed into regular reporting or as part of an adhoc project. I use both data that is live-fed into the tool, as well as uploading verbatim from any other projects

**What do you dislike about Wordnerds?**

Nothing major to dislike! We have quarterly sessions with our account manager and we will discuss any positive or negative feedback on the tool. Any day-to-day drawbacks with the tool Wordnerds are always up for hearing, as this helps feeds into their future roadmap of what improvements they can make to the platform

**What problems is Wordnerds solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Within our insights team we have a lot of data available to us, but sometimes struggle to understand the 'why' behind this. Wordnerds is really helpful as a tool to quickly access sentiment/volume of different topics, which helps feed into our regular drumbeat of insights, as well as any adhoc projects

**What do you like best about Wordnerds?**

We've been working with Wordnerds since 2019 and have built a strong relationship over that time. Their support has included analysing our social media data and, more recently, our complaints, enquiries and praise from Customer Relations contacts. We also receive tailored periodic reports, which include analysis, trends, and actionable suggestions.

Every colleague we've interacted with has been brilliant, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their expertise and software have enabled us to dive deep into various insights, allowing us to make improvements based on customer feedback.

I love using Wordnerds. This platform has helped me to get all the customers feedback through different channels. The most helpful feature is the internal reports and analyze feedback. With this great platform I'm understanding so much better our clients.

The only thing that I don't like so much is the price because for my company it's a little expensive to get the license.

Wordnerds efficiently analyses massive amounts of text data, allowing us to provide timely reports that guide the team's actions. The thematic analysis offers deeper insights into key trends.

Since the charts in the report can't be customised, it's cdifficult to use them directly in reports. The data upload page also lacks a review feature, meaning that correcting or removing an incorrectly uploaded file can be time-consuming.

Analysing extensive qualitative data at a rapid pace, enabling quick insights for timely action, especially during emergency appeals.
