**What do you like best about Wiz?**
Wiz provides the visibility that a modern cloud-based company needs when it comes to prioritizing what really matters, maximizing the risk reduction, and the overall strength of security for the organization.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
The dashboard reporting could be improved. Currently, it lacks the ability to report on multiple projects in a single view, which would enhance its utility for managing complex environments.

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
As a Cloud native organisation, a holistic CNAPP platform was vital for us.
Wiz was extremely easy to set up for 100% coverage across AWS, GCP and Azure. We managed to operationalise and democratise security across 100+ development teams within a few months.
New (and existing additional) features such as the run-time sensor, Wiz Code and Wiz Defend are compelling. All features and integrations within Wiz work seamlessly without effort.
The user interface is very intuitive whereby it's easy to navigate the platform.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
The Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) part of the platform could be improved from a coverage perspective by adding a Data Catalog. Overall the DSPM offering is good (due to the contextual risk / attack path analysis) but it is below the capability of pure play DSPM vendors.
Reachability analysis could potentially be improved.
Root cause analysis dashboards would be very helpful from a vulnerability management perspective rather than delving into reporting.
**What problems is Wiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**
Easily able to focus on pressing Cloud security risks due to attack path analysis.
Integration of Wiz Code helps from a Code to Cloud perspective too.

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
Migrating from PrismaCloud to Wiz was a game-changer for us. The implementation was incredibly smooth—even without dedicated security engineers on my team. Wiz is intuitive, easy to use, and provides deep visibility into our environment. The data discovery capabilities have been a huge benefit, helping us quickly identify sensitive data exposure and mitigate risks. The platform also excels at detecting lateral movements, uncovering secrets, and strengthening our overall security posture.
The customer support has been outstanding, and our account executive, along with our SA, made the entire process seamless. We rely on Wiz daily, and it has made a significant impact on our security operations.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
Initially, Wiz had a simple pricing model with one SKU that included everything, which made budgeting straightforward. However, their shift to multiple SKUs has complicated planning and made securing additional funding more challenging. I’d prefer if they kept the original model for better transparency and ease of purchase.
**What problems is Wiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**
Wiz is helping us gain deep visibility into our cloud environment, making it much easier to identify risks and security gaps. One of the biggest benefits has been data discovery, which allows us to quickly locate sensitive data exposure and take action before it becomes a problem. Additionally, Wiz helps us detect lateral movements, uncover secrets, and spot misconfigurations that could lead to potential security threats.

Wiz was deployed a few months ago with easy and fast implementation and integration with our Jira and Microsoft Teams.
The UI is very cool and easy to navigate, and the context help is amazing!
We are getting real value by focusing on the most important aspects and prioritizing our tasks.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
The only thing that they can improve is the licensing, it is hard to understand and predict what will be the usage.

WIZ is helping us to get detailed views on our cloud assets, and allowing us to prioritize on the issues that are relevant to us.

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
What we like best is to have a complete view of our cloud infrastructure without the need for complex configurations or installing agents, which meant that we started using it in record time.
Wiz features allow us to accurately identify threats, which improves our security management in our cloud infrastructure. In addition, the integration with our ticketing tool allows us to improve our DevSecOps process.
Finally, our Wiz contacts have helped us from the very beginning to adopt the tool, providing us with the necessary resources and assistance.

Wiz has so many features that can be overwhelming for people unfamiliar with these kind of solutions, making the learning curve longer than expected

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
Wiz gives us the ability to monitor and manage vulnerabilities and events with a small team. Wiz makes it quick and easy to manage each event and move on. It was easy to get up and running, taking only a few hours of engineering time. The documentation around their integrations makes it a breeze to connect with our existing tools.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
Wiz can seem daunting, there is a lot of data given quickly. It takes a minute to get used to this overflow and really narrow down on what matters.
**What problems is Wiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**
The ease of use and straightforward approach of Wiz to what it offers helps us minimize how much time is needed each week on workloads that before would take a day or 2 to resolve. Managing vulnerabilities through Wiz is quick and easy, they give full tooling to track each vulnerability/event from start to finish. It creates the ticket, updates it as we take actions, and closes the tickets as we complete our work.

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
I've been following Wiz for years and when we finally reached the need of a Cloud Security Platform, Wiz came first to mind. We've compared a few tools before we went ahead, but Wiz got significant advantage against competition.
Onboarding was extremely easy and we were up and running in a matter of days. The thing we love most about Wiz is how simple it actually is and how much information we get out of it. We've been able to identify and resolve critical issues quickly once we connected it to our cloud environments.
Wiz provides immense help with our security audits and helps us automate production deployments of infrastructure without introducing security issues.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
Nothing negative to mention here, until now experience was great and everytime we needed support we received the answers we needed.

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
We looked at Wiz to replace our previous CSPM and it did a great job at that. However, we found that it's also awesome at dependency management and showing context around alerts.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
The automation capabilities aren't as strong as other competitors, and what was once a single-SKU, everything-you-need platform has become more fragmented as they acquire other companies and add features. I like the new features, but the pricing is becoming less friendly.
**What problems is Wiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**
Wiz takes care of pretty much our entire cloud security stack and DevSecOps efforts. We've licensed Wiz Code for CI/CD scans and will use their SAST product as soon as it launches.

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
The ease of use and the ability for us to have our application teams get just the information they needed was why we selected the product. Getting vulnerabilities and misconfigurations to our applications teams and holding them accountable gives us a very strong cloud security posture - much stronger than our on-premise security posture. We were an early customer of Wiz and they have been very responsive to making improvements based on our feedback. The product has changed considerably and now has more features than we need, instead of not enough. We pay Wiz to be smarter than we are about secure configurations and they have been.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
The licensing is the first grump but only in that I wish it were less, not that it is excessively pricey. It is competitive with MS Sentinel but I wish it were 1/2 the cost. It's a lot easier to argue against native tools when it is cheaper. Their realtime linux agent isn't near cost competitive for so we can't even consider it. Wiz does not support on-premise data centers and it would greatly simplify our lives if it did. Everyone at our company prefers our cloud vulnerability and misconfiguration system over our on-premise system by a wide margin. Every tool that I've seen in this space that attempts to point out overly privileged accounts generates a high noise to signal ratio in a complex environment such as ours. We turn the Wiz IAM rules off to avoid the chatter. If you need a program to manage your identity security and you have a sophisticated environment, I would suggest you look for a sophisticated dedicated IAM tool.

We know that we don't know what we don't know and Wiz fills in that gap for cloud security. It is an essential tool in our cloud security toolkit. Pushing the responsibility for fixing issues to the application teams works best when the application teams get the right information to identify and fix the issues. Wiz does this for us.

Wiz makes identifying and fixing cloud vulnerabilities a breeze. Its attack path tools clearly map how threats could exploit weaknesses, tying them directly to business risks. This helps our team focus on what matters most.
The ability to connect vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and data exposure in one view is a game-changer. It’s intuitive, detailed, and saves tons of time. The platform delivers incredible value for cloud security. Onboarding was lightning fast and Wiz constantly delivers massive improvements and updates to match emerging technologies in the products it scans.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
The only real downside for us is the granularity of the platform. The reporting functions are somewhat limited, especially for management-level summaries. While we can customize and create everything we need from a technical and remediation perspective, we often need to export and manually prepare data to create reports suitable for leadership.
**What problems is Wiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**
We currently operate a multi-cloud platform with multiple tenants of each cloud type. Securing these can be tedious at times and difficult to create a single pane of glass. Wiz helps perform this for exposure management, vulnerabilities, and help massively with visibility and risk analysis.

Wiz.io ensures our event ticketing platforms remain secure, reliable, and trusted so that we can focus on what we do best, serving our clients in the entertainment industry. We also particularly love the built-in guidance within each feature/section that guide us from setting up to operations.

The UI could be benefited from more logical grouping as opposed to individual feature seemingly unrelated with each other.

Wiz is always looking for new and unique ways to improve an organization's cloud security posture. The amount of helpful features that are pumped into the product on a consistent basis is amazing. The application itself is very easy to navigate and does a great job contextualizing vulnerabilities.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
Can sometimes get overwhelming if you're not staying on top of new features and releases. One day you'll log in and certain features have been moved or renamed.
**What problems is Wiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**
When I first started at my company, we had a slew of vulnerabilities that we had a hard time contextualizing. This made prioritization of the vulnerabilities tough because we were unsure of which issue would give us the most turn in on results once resolved. Once we implemented Wiz into our space, prioritization became a breeze. Not only that, but we were able to see a greater picture of the vulnerabilities we had in the cloud. The unknowns became known and we knew where our weaknesses lay, along with how to fix them. New features like Wiz Code, the advancement of CI/CD and IaC scanning also helped us with our DevSecOps and Container Vulnerability Management objectives.

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
Above all, the simple integration into the cloud platforms is very convenient. Wiz is cloud agnostic and is therefore a very good fit for us.
Wiz also has a very good overview and allows you to drill down across different levels. This makes it very pleasant to use and is very informative. The evaluation from a finding to an issue supports prioritization enormously and helps us as an organization to focus on the essential issues. Wiz is also very fast at displaying emerging threats in the platform and showing the risks to our resources. A big plus from the SOC / CISO perspective.
The ability to organize cloud resources in projects, which in turn can be controlled granularly via RBAC and provided with dedicated integrations, makes Wiz a tool that we have been able to introduce very well throughout the entire IT organization.
The support from Wiz is good and fast. We receive quick feedback and good support on our tickets.
The further development of the platform should be emphasized. The features that Wiz had when we introduced it were already great and in the 2 years Wiz has developed enormously. So fast that we can't keep up with introducing these features in the organization.
I am delighted to have found a security tool in Wiz that is not only useful for the security departments, but also helps the IT teams and is used and appreciated by them. Wiz has brought the maturity of our cloud forward.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
Wiz is a little weak when it comes to reporting functions for management. The dashboard functions are basically good and clear, but more suited to techies. So far, we have not been able to create any reports for management without exporting and otherwise preparing data. If there were more options here in the future, that would be another plus for Wiz.
The data export options are limited, and it is difficult to export data for very large cloud environments.
**What problems is Wiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**
Wiz gives us a central overview of cloud assets, their configuration, findings in the assets, how they are related to each other and what risks are associated with them. This helps us to prioritize problems and harden the cloud. There are also threat detection and forensic features. With Wiz, we can manage the security of our cloud from a single tool.

**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
We haven't found any downsides from using the solution, its surface plenty of areas of improvement as it should. The account team are engaged with onboarding and making sure you have everything you need for success.
**What problems is Wiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**
WIZ solves the issue of security in the cloud, in an environment whereby the same requirement can be set up in many different ways, WIZ helps us ensure every application, device and solution is actually secure and surfaces any issues in a clear and very detailed way.

1) Very easy to setup the tool, literally a few minutes and we were already scanning our public cloud account
2)Easy to use interface, didn't need training classes and complex user guides, it's simple to learn
3)High fidelity alerts, the criticals and highs have been spot on. No more chasing false positives.
4)Data Security is starting to improve quickly, making it an even more comprehensive platform play
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
License calculation is complex since they cover various clouds and object types, plus you have to anticipate your cloud growth to cover your future license needs as your cloud investment grows. This is standard for CSPM and something that just requires some future planning/estimates.
**What problems is Wiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**
Giving us deep visibility into the problems which our other cloud posture mgmt solutions are not able to show us. This level of granularity is really something we have not seen anywhere else.

Our infrastructure is complex and constantly changing, deployed across all three major clouds. With Wiz, we gain the observability we always desired, as well as the expert knowledge needed to maintain the level of security our customers and partners expect.
Wiz's UI is easy to use and intuitive, it allows our security teams and DevOps to quickly identify, prioritize, vet, and remediate the vulnerabilities that actually matter. The fact that Wiz is constantly innovating and adding features keeps in the forefront of Cloud Security Platforms.

We don't have any major concerns. Automation within the tool could probably be somewhat improved.

The deployment process was easy to integrate into our cloud platforms. Good documentation and responsive customer support paved the way for a smooth implementation. WIZ is user-friendly, with informative interface that simplifies navigation and utilization. This allows our security team to focus on addressing threats.

What I appreciate most about Wiz is its ability to contextualize vulnerabilities across cloud assets. The risk-based prioritization saves us hours of triage, and the single-pane view ensures my team can respond efficiently without hopping between tools
The development pipeline at Wiz is something I really appreciate. New features are delivered rapidly and often just appear on the platform, rather than being pushed back to 'next quarter' repeatedly. This agility makes a noticeable difference in keeping up with evolving security needs.

There’s nothing I actively dislike about the Wiz platform. However, I do wish Wiz would expand into the SSPM space, as I believe it would complement their existing offerings well. That said, it’s not a major drawback that this feature isn’t available yet

The UI layout is very user friendly and easy to use. Within the application there are multiple ways to dig into the details of a problem without having to search through the rest of the UI to find it. The ability to directly link out to the cloud resource that you're currently looking at is very useful. The wiz customer support has been on point as well, quick turnaround on questions and help.

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
Wiz provides complete visibility of our cloud environments. It replaces so many other one off solutions and gives us confidence on the security of our environment. Some other tools are super noisy, but Wiz includes more context about the actual risk of the issue while factoring in different sources of data.
Their vulnerability management product has become really great and easy to use. It is very easy to prioritize different applications, and generating SBOM of your environment is useful as well. The runtime validation of dependencies gives extra peace of mind. This was super helpful in our compliance journey.
I also like their cloud events management solution, it was very easy to set up with both AWS and Azure and it comes with many canned threat detection alerts (you can also create your own).
Overall, super easy to set up and get complete visibility of your environments. No agents to deploy.
Requesting new features and other small updates to the platform is easy and their support team is responsive. Any issue that I've reported is resolved shortly after.

Email reports could be improved, rather than just sending out csv files.

The best thing about Wiz is the Issues system. Toxic combinations of different finding types, which make it easy to prioritize the most severe/important issues and tackle them first.

I guess the reporting could be improved. You can't export a hard file, it has to be a link that takes you into the platform, so anyone wanting to view the file has to have Wiz access.

Helping us find problems in multiple areas, and showing us the issues we should tackle first. Also, I love the Journey/Champion Center features, which walk you through deployment to ensure you get everything setup. It's a nice self-updating checklist.

As a cloud security engineer, Wiz stands out as one of the best platforms I've used. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it efficient to manage security tasks. There’s very little to dislike about Wiz. The platform is powerful and well-designed, but there’s always room for improvement in terms of streamlining certain features for even faster use. That said, these are minor issues compared to the overall quality of the platform.

Wiz being Kubernetes native gives it a huge leg up in this area. It's a great copilot for monitoring security issues in the environment and simple to deploy.

For them to surface thing simplistically takes complex amounts of background logic they will often miss chains of logic within. For example, failing to build a path from an ILB all the way to the backend pool it supports with a vulnerability in it. These don't happen too often.

Wiz is helping us shift further left by exposing issues in the pipeline early to the committer of the code, but also helping us visually dig through existing runtime exposures with a clean UI.

As an Executive Sponsor, I like how easy it was to implement Wiz in our environment and how we were quickly able to recognize value from the investment by leveraging Wiz to help us prioritize areas of risk reduction.

Although easy to implement and use, there is some tuning required to ensure that the observations are accurate, at least in our environment.

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
Wiz is the market leader and has been for years. This means they could just sit back and enjoy the profits of their labor. However, that is not their approach. We still have regular calls with our Wiz success team and they go over monthly new features. They add features that we need like we are their only customer. It is incredible how much R&D they have. From CSPM, to DSPM. etc. I usually prefer to have separate, best of breed tools for each of these but with Wiz, they have proven me wrong. They are able to integrate each of these critical security capabilities into a single framework that helps us scan our configurations, data types, user access, etc all in one.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
There are always downsides to every tool. While I am not in the tool daily as much as the engineers, I do notice that the search and report/export features sometimes is confusing, due to the granular features. I would like to sometimes search via user or host name and you might be forced to use IP or vice versa. However, since they deploy GUI and feature updates on a monthly or more frequent basis, this will likely be resolved soon.

I would have to purchase at least 3 separate solutions if I didn't use Wiz. A vuln scanner, CSPM and DSPM.

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
Wiz is very intuitive and easy to deploy. With their initial serverless deployment architecture you immediately get immense insight into the vulnerabilities and risks across your cloud and container assets. Their kubernetes integration also is easy to deploy and collects information and greater detail about your systems. The documentation and support staff are both very easy to work with. Compared to other cloud security products, being able to extract the needed information and know what needs to be fixed is very intuitive and flexible and does not require and complex propriatory query language.

I wish there were more automated remediation mechanisms for some of the rules and integrations that prevent certain configurations similar to how AWS SCPs work.

Our company manages multiple landing zones across various cloud providers. Additionally, numerous teams work on projects spanning different sizes and technologies.
Wiz has been instrumental in helping us monitor, detect, and correct deployment deviations and obsolete resources. Today, it enables us to demonstrate compliance with industry frameworks.
Furthermore, Wiz's user-friendly interface and SaaS-based operation have significantly enhanced our overall experience. We were able to easily deploy Wiz using Terraform and manage 100% of its configuration through code. Whenever we needed assistance, their support team was always there to help. Now,
Wiz serves as our central command center for cloud security, which we consult daily. To ensure the compliance of all our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments, we've integrated Wiz into our CI/CD pipelines.

We've been using Wiz Essentials for about a year now and it's proving one of those rare security products that genuinely solves a problem rather than just creating new ones. It's quick to implement, simple to use, doesn't require security specialists or need the team to go on endless training courses to master and makes the vulnerability management problem actually manageable.

Not much, it's expensive but probably no more than its competitors and they're willing to negotiate.

Wiz takes the context of the workload into account when determining criticality. This lets us focus our efforts on the areas of biggest impact first. They've developed new and useful features at a blazing pace and respond to customer feedback. We pointed out that a development package we were using wasn't being detected during our initial Proof of Concept and they added support for it within a week. They also have an excellent API and CLI that we have integrated into our development pipelines for custom workflows.

There is a lot of information available in the portal and can be overwhelming to new users. It is important to create custom dashboards to scope the necessary information for specific teams/workloads.

As we have progressively moved more workloads into the cloud, it has become difficult to fully monitor the security of those workloads using native tools. Wiz gives us the confidence that we are deploying infrastructure securely and we have the necessary visibility into our risk exposure.

1. Visual Dashboard: The visual board provided by Wiz is exceptional. It allows us to see all issues and vulnerabilities across our AWS and Azure platforms at a glance. This intuitive visualization has been crucial for quickly identifying and prioritizing issues.

After more than 2 years of managing and deploying Wiz platform in our company, I can say that this is one of the best in class cloud security products. Integration and ease of total implementation compared to other vendors was amazing. The new features that Wiz deploys to the product are very fast. Customer support (especially the tech sales team) is top compared to other vendors as well.

The only thing I can think about is adding more exclusion capabilities to the Issues and Policies for K8s. Granularity is very important on a large scale of deployments.

As an azure cloud user we appreciate greatly the added value over Azure advisor. It allows us to prioritize vulnerabilities and focus on those with the highest risk. We also see that, although already a lot of functionality exists, a constant flow of new features are being added, all of this implemented with a single click. We also love the regular followup meetings and feel we are heard and our needs are really what they need. With NIS2 coming up it really becomes something crucial in managing our assets.

Wiz is activated on a subscription which is an all or nothing approach. Although this seems the right way to do, a more granular approach would be better manageable from a timing and budget perspective.

**What do you like best about Wiz?**
Wiz has proven to be an invaluable asset in our cybersecurity toolkit. One of the best features for us is the dashboard overview that presents actionable insights that have a direct, measurable impact on our overall security posture using their "Toxic Three" formula. Not only does it tell you what is wrong, but it also explains why it is an issue and proposes a solution including relevant instructions. This approach allows our team to prioritize the real important and critical issues without getting bogged down by a noisy alert system. It is really easy to create a dashboard of widgets that you deem most important and use that to display on a dedicated monitor.
We especially appreciate the rapid anomaly detection capabilities. It consistently identifies unusual patterns or behaviors in our environment with remarkable speed and accuracy, enabling us to respond swiftly to potential threats.
An other feature that has proven valuable is the compliance posture reporting. As we pursue SOC 2 certification, and want to maintain several already achived cerifications, these reports have been instrumental in guiding our compliance efforts. They provide a clear, comprehensive view of our current compliance status, highlighting areas that need attention and offering specific recommendations for improvement. This has streamlined our certification process considerably.
We where pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to implement and intigrate Wiz into our environment. Together with a dedicated customer support agent we've had our whole enviroment monitored in a couple of hours.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
While the "Toxic Three" feature helps prioritize critical issues, the general vulnerability findings page can still be quite noisy. This is somewhat inherent to the nature of comprehensive vulnerability scanning, but further refinement in this area would be appreciated.
The ability to mark findings or rules for future ignoring is useful, but the process isn't always consistent. Sometimes it prompts for a reason (which is helpful for audits), while other times it simply ignores the rule without explanation.
The same goes for marking findings as resolved. Most often you can mark a finding as resolved and allowing you to connect a (Jira) ticket and add some additional information. Other times it can only be resolved by making sure the scanner does not detect the issue anymore, effectifly solving the issue, which is beneficial but not always possible.
**What problems is Wiz solving and how is that benefiting you?**
Wiz helps us manage our cloud security more effectively by focusing on key issues. It filters out less important alerts and highlights the most critical problems, allowing us to respond quickly to potential threats. Because of the (cloud) misconfiguration detection and the always updated best practice rules from Wiz, we are confident in our current setup and environment, which gives us peace of mind.
It has also been very helpful with our compliance efforts, especially for SOC 2 certification, by providing clear reports on our compliance status and pointing us to areas that where in need of attention or implementation.

We are able to quickly identify risks, vulnerabilities, etc. to understand our security posture, however the real sweet spot for Wiz is its ability to bring context into the decision-making process. It considers what vulnerabilities, configurations or issues make up 'toxic combinations' i.e., areas of most importance and adverse impact.
Being able to provide vulnerability & configuration management based on priority saves time and effort.
The automated remediation process & system integrations (integration into our CICD process) are the most exciting feature about Wiz providing real-time insights as applications are progressed from development to production environments.

Wiz provides incredible coverage across our cloud environments. The inclusion of raw logs and the ability to search and write custom threat detection rules against these logs saves us from having to send them to a SIEM/Data Warehouse, normalize them, and build detections against them. Additionally, the hundreds or thousands of threat detection rules included in Wiz are overall very high quality and provide a huge degree of coverage on top of the dozens of custom company-specific rules we've created.
Wiz regularly releases useful new features and integrations and the level of support we have received has generally been top-tier. The detailed system activity log and audit logs also increase our confidence that we will be able to view any actions taken inside of our Wiz console - either from our own users or from Wiz.
Onboarding Wiz was a breeze and their documentation is excellent and covers the vast majority of questions that have come up during our usage of the product.
**What do you dislike about Wiz?**
To date, we haven't had any major issues using Wiz. Their usage licensing model means as you scale up your compute and data resources, you will necessarily increase your utilization (and therefore cost), but I appreciate all the tooling they include to help you both visualize, calculate, and fine tune your utilization.

Wiz Defend and Wiz Code are both excellent but licensing requirements prevented us from purchasing.
