Developers should work on developing a better design. **What problems is winhost solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is an accommodation at a reasonable price. ### 2. The cost, it is very affordable. The fact that you can connect to your websites using IIS Manager is great, and they keep the servers up to date with the current versions of SQL Server and ASP.NET. Whenever I opened a support ticket, I would get a real reply (not an automated one) in 30 minutes or less and they are very responsive. Finally, the technical documentation/FAQ section they have is very complete. I've used them for about five years and very happy with them. I've always used the Max plan which is super affordable. **What do you dislike about winhost?** Publishing using WebDeploy from Visual Studio can be something between a hassle, nightmare or total web server breakdown. Stay away from webdeploy with this hosting provider, seriously. **Recommendations to others considering winhost:** Take your time to explore all the configuration options that are available. There is plenty of them. Also, please, for your own good, do not use webdeploy, seriously. **What problems is winhost solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use it to publish our company's website and a staging website as well ### 3. So far very reliable and stable, no issues at all. For my project that are mainly .net based sites, this is good place to host them, either for testing purposes, or live systems (web sites); A big list of features, and they are focused only on Windows Hosting / .NET. Microsoft IIS Manager tool can be used to administer your sites. Also you can publish your site directly from Visual Studio. Allows multiple Application Starting Points. (but if you abuse it, the performance will go down). Winhost provides both Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 and MYSQL under the same account, no extra cost, and the Database space is reasonable. Latest Microsoft servers versions, and .NET framework, ASPX, MVC. PHP also included. The control panel is easy to use, Includes email service and an administration web site. App installer for popular applications: DotNetNuke, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Moodle and others. Payment options, goes from Monthly, Quarterly and 1 year and 2 year. The knowledge base has a good deal of technical notes that will help you with any general configuration questions. **What do you dislike about winhost?** The email global quota is small and needs to be divided among all email accounts. **Recommendations to others considering winhost:** If you need to host Microsoft .NET based projects, this hosting is a good option. **What problems is winhost solving and how is that benefiting you?** Web hosting for .net based projects.
