What do you like best about WinDocks?

Windocks has been a great platform, enabling our company to deliver isolated SQL Server environments using an infrastructure-as-code CI/CD approach. We can provision multiple databases quickly—even those that are multi-terabyte in size.

The team at Windocks has been a pleasure to work with from both technical and business perspectives. They are consistently responsive, providing prompt support and delivering custom integrations tailored to our needs. In fact, they’ve integrated with three major storage providers specifically for us, giving us the flexibility to choose the solution that best fits our organization—without being locked into a single vendor due to platform limitations. What do you like best about WinDocks?

WinDocks1.0 is among the simplest and most elegant cloud storage and file-syncing services. It gives you access to your files from nearly anywhere. You can install it on virtually any computer or mobile device. Dozens of apps integrate easily , too, making it highly versatile. For personal use, it works simply and effortlessly. Enhanced collaboration capabilities in the new Paper feature make it even better for teamwork. It is an excellent choice for online storage, though it doesn't quite beat Editors' Choices Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive for value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WinDocks?

All the apps are free to download, and there are plenty of them, but space is pretty limited if you don't pay. The free personal account starts you out with a meager 2GB. You can earn more space through referrals (an additional 500MB for every friend who joins, up to 16GB) and other actions (linking with Twitter, enabling camera uploads, and so on). Still, most other file-syncing and storage programs give you more than 2GB to start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WinDocks solving and how is that benefiting you?

In addition to priority support, Pro users also get some neat file-sharing functionality, such as the ability to control when links to shared files expire. One gripe WinDocks users had in the past concerned access to old files, and the company now offers an upgrade that solves this problem. For an extra $3.99 per month or $39 per year, you can add the Extended Version History service (previously known as Packrat), which keeps previous versions of your files and deleted files for one year without them counting toward your allotted space. Overall you get excellent value for your money, but there are definitely more affordable, more generous services to choose from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
