I am by no means a Stat expert, but they make me feel like an expert! The statistical analysis is rigorous and perfect for my quantitative studies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about WinCross Desktop? There is a learning curve. I would recommend signing up for training to really understand how to use the features and functionality. Once you spend a few hours you are ready to hit the ground running with basic analysis. I still do basic analysis, but it has been perfect for my business needs. I am aware that I am still just scratching the surface of the functionality, but it is working for now. When I have more time, I will invest more in training. The training was excellent! The analysis tools within the survey platforms weren't able to handle the custom datacuts I needed and the flexible statistical analysis. Very easy to create data tables and banner, fairly intuitive as well. I like that I can save and share job files among coworkers easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about WinCross Desktop? Sometimes has bugs that can be frustrating, especially in the banners section. Overwhelming amount of settings to be able to manipulate, this may be a bonus for some though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering WinCross Desktop: It's really solid, does what you need it to, hard to complain about it when it works, but sometimes you get bugs that are fixed by restarting the software. I would say this is kind of rare though. I find that with larger datasets it can take a while to perform some smaller operations, but this may also be a limit of my PC hardware. There is no specific point to dislike it. However, for advance analysis there is some limitations in win-cross tools. What problems is WinCross Desktop solving and how is that benefiting you? Before Wincross -tool, earlier I was using Uncle Tabulation tool in my project. However, if number of tables in study is more then programming is lengthy and it takes longer time.
