Before, desk claims happened over Slack and spreadsheets, and people would show up to no free seat. Now everyone books a desk in seconds via QR code or the floor plan, so we've eliminated double-bookings and can right-size our office space based on actual usage data. Easy to book a desk. You just go in, pick the day and choose from what’s available. It was nice to see who's in the office before I booked. Also quick to see what desks or rooms are free. Sometimes it’s not immediately obvious what certain icons meant without clicking into them, so there’s a bit of trial and error at the start. Best feature of Whatspot is how it manage my all meetings and bookings. It helps me to easily reserve meeting rooms, workspaces in few clicks. The google calander integeration is one of the best thing to sync all the meetings without manually scheduling. It helps me to easily find the spot for other meetings and ensures that I always have a spot available when I need it. This saves me a lot of time. It is versatile enough to handle a variety of settings, including laboratories and other spaces. One notable feature is the ability to assign specific seats to individuals, which is especially useful for fair exams and other competitive events.
