What I love most about WebChartMD is the fact that it allows transcriptionists to use applications they are already familiar with, such as Microsoft Word and Express Scribe, while still maintaining the power of a cloud-based, searchable medical records platform that has a very intuitive interface with no manual uploads or downloads. There isn't much to dislike. Anytime our organization ran into a roadblock where we needed WCMD to do something it didn't do, the team over at WCMD was able to implement our needs for a very reasonable development fee. I guess if I had to pick something, it would be native audio playback in their transcription tool with foot pedal support, but Express Scribe is just wonderful to pair it with and very affordable. WCMD is a newer tool in the arsenal of transcription services. It's a fantastic all-in-one service; clients can upload dictation, transcriptions have easy access and ability to send for quality checks, and you can even have the files automatically delivered if desired. Some of the backend instructions for account management are not intuitive. For example, needing to add a back up MT for a particular client necessitates changing their associations so they can see their files -- this isn't obvious if you're a new user. There is a lengthy video tutorial on the site available to all users, however. Their support staff is also less than ideal, as they have a tendency to brush off concerns.
