Vree has a unique proposal: to create a usable 3D model from only 2 product pictures for specific categories (eyewear, wristwatches, shoes). Their competitors are more generalistic (create all kinds of 3D objects from a few pictures), but the generated 3D models are not usable for production (they are low quality, full of artifacts). They have developed internally a strong and innovative technology and their support is amazing. Their API is easy to integrate. At Jeeliz (https://jeeliz.com) we rely on Vree to generate glasses 3D models from pictures extracted from product pages. We can then offer the only eyewear virtual try-on solution on the market that is instantly integrated into any e-commerce website by copypasting a code snippet on product pages. In very few cases (less than 1%), the glasses 3D generation can fail. Most often, there are issues with product pictures (frames have the same color as the background, very low image resolution,...) or with very singular glasses design (very asymmetric shapes, visor style sunglasses). They take these cases into account to improve their generative AI models, so it is only a matter of time before 100% success in 3D model generation. Refractions or Reflexions may be baked into the diffuse texture, but this issue is easy to fix by the user without any prior knowledge in our back office (some sliders to adjust material transparency and material diffuse texture application factor). Reliable and realistic product 3D model results generated from a few SKU photos. VREE is able to apply advanced GenAI to generate a realistic 3D model in under 30 seconds, versus days or weeks using traditional 3D artist methods. Other imagery GenAI tools compose photos based on scraped images from the web, but fail to accurately depict actual product 3D models that are hosted on a brand's website. VREE 3D model generation occasionally results in an incorrect component color, which requires manual color correction on the product 3D model. This isn't dealbreaker, as the VREE solution is still about 99% less work, time and cost than using traditional 3D model development methods. The solution is aso far more accurate than any other GenAI tool we have used to instantaneously generate realistic product 3D models from existing product photography.
