I’ve mainly used it to get a clearer picture of how I’m spending my workday. It’s especially useful for spotting things like focus time, meeting patterns, and reminders to follow up on tasks. I don’t check it every day, but whenever I do, it gives me a solid overview of my work habits. I also appreciate that it runs quietly in the background with Microsoft 365. I don’t have to enter anything manually, and it automatically surfaces insights based on my calendar and day-to-day work activity. The focus time suggestions are particularly helpful on days when I need uninterrupted time for automation development or debugging. Overall, it’s one of those tools that doesn’t try to do too much. As someone working in QA automation, uninterrupted focus time really matters when I’m writing automation scripts, debugging failures, or analyzing test results. The reminders and productivity insights help me manage my time a bit more effectively and cut down on unnecessary context switching. I love the ability to schedule daily focus time into your calendar. The program automatically adds two hours per day of focus time where I don't have meetings, and it sets my Teams status to "focusing" where calls and messages are silenced. So the integration into my normal work environment is very smooth. I also love the headspace feature with easy access to music — my favorite is the "Lo-Fi times." In addition, Insights tracks some helpful data like how much time I spent collaborating with coworkers versus being available for focus time. While it's easy to book focus time from the home screen quickly, I wish there was more flexibility in changing the times before you book them. For example, today the app recommended adding focus time from 12 pm to 1 pm, but I don't have any meetings until 2 pm. I would rather schedule an hour between 1 pm and 2 pm and still have time for lunch.
