When cropping a clip that I have recorded, the site takes a significant amount of time to process the video to allow editing, and then more time to finalize the clip post editing. Additionally, I have had the issue where the audio and visual timing is off and the audio is ahead of the video and my speaking is ahead of my recording. This causes multiple takes and time that shouldn't necessairly have to be spent. Switching to different web pages, docs, etc. makes the camera part go away. Usually, I am more than happy to do this (it's my job, of course). About 10% of the time though, the questions they have could be answered in under 5 minutes. This is where Vidyard comes in. It is SO easy to record a quick video, address customer questions, and screenshare so that a process is easy to follow. This saves SO much time on my calendar. Plus, the customer can go back and reference the video again and again, making it more effective than a call. **What do you dislike about Vidyard?** Not much. Occassionally the videos I've created have glitched out after recording, which results in having to record the whole thing over again. This is pretty rare, but a little frustrating. Recently, I've also noticed that while recording on certain websites, the microphone doesn't work. I'm sure I need to spend a bit more time troubleshooting, but this is a bummer. As a super-small (>10 people) B2B consulting business, we pride ourselves on a personal touch with our clients. Many client questions could be answered by sending them to a web page full of videos, but rather, we record a quick video personalized to them and help them directly with their issue. Some people might see that as inefficient, but it's faster than scheduling time, and our clients LOVE IT. I don't know how I would serve my clients without Vidyard. So many tools try to be all things to all people, which ends up pricing them out of range for small businesses. So far, Vidyard has added useful things but has not gone down that path. **What do you dislike about Vidyard?** Nothing. And that is an honest answer. It is so easy to record quick videos to provide my customers with clear and personalized explanations. The browser extension makes it easily accessible. I also love that there is a Gmail integration so I can embed videos into my emails. Knowing when your video has been viewed (and how many times) is really helpful. **What do you dislike about Vidyard?** There's nothing that I really dislike. My only "complaint" is that sometimes the button to pause, stop, or restart the video moves around. It would neat if there was a combination of keys you could press to stop a recording so there isn't that awkward moment at the end of a video where you're navigating and clicking on the button. **What problems is Vidyard solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sometimes explaining how to acheive something over text can be tedious and difficult to understand.
