What do you like best about Veeam Data Platform?

What do you dislike about Veeam Data Platform?

They could improve the explanation of products better, especially when it comes to Entra ID and Azure AD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Veeam Data Platform:

If you are using a virtual environment, then this is great software. Easy to get servers backed up and replicated, which makes disaster recovery much easier. Great support when it is needed. Easy to upgrade to new versions when they are released. Works well with VMware. Supports ESXi version from at least 5.5 to the current version. NAS backups is now included. What problems is Veeam Data Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am solving the problem of how to backup VMs, as well as some physical servers and PCs. With this software we are able to reliably prevent data loss. Helps get clients back up and running quickly since we use it mostly with VMware. When it is set up and working it works very well. Disaster recovery is one of the main reasons we use this software, but it is also great for restoring files that accidentally get deleted by end users. We have been able to successfully recover from corrupt VMs due to ransomware and bad windows updates since we are using this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We now have the ability to backup our environment. Before using Veeam the place I work for did snapshots only. I showed them why this was bad and why Veeam was the best solution for us. What do you like best about Veeam Data Platform?

We use it for backing up office 365 objects. This is one of our best selling products as a cloud service provider. We also use it for sql backups too Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Veeam Data Platform?

If Veeam could have a tenant portal for backups, it would be great. We are a cloud service provider with hosted VMs. We use veeam to backup these vms, now if our customers request for a portal to view their backups, we dont have one as veeam currently doesnt support it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
