## Usercentrics Reviews
 ### 1. Effortless Consent Management with Strong Privacy Compliance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Konjengbam M. | BDR, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I love this platform for its capability to efficiently manage consent of the users by allowing users to maintain privacy. Other than this I love this platform as it provides an option either to share the data or not through the consent box allowing user the sole decision maker to decide if they agree or not. This removes a large compliance hurdles and avoids Organization from future law suits. This platform also ensures the privacy compliance is also met. The Platform also have a user friendly interface that is workable for users. The onboarding process was also made really simple by allowing to sign in with just a google account. I love the overall performance of this platform.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

I love most part of this platform but I have to admit the platform can be made more easy to use and Improving the flexibility of the price for Organization to decide an exact budget would be really helpful.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform solves compliance issues and safeguards privacy of the user browsing the site. It removes future hurdles or headache by owning up the responsibility to maintain the Web compliances.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Konjengbam,
Thank you for your review! We're glad the platform is helping you manage user consent effectively and reducing compliance hurdles for your organization. It's great to hear the onboarding process and Google sign-in made getting started easy.

We appreciate your feedback on usability and pricing flexibility, this is the kind of input that helps us improve.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 2. Managing GDPR compliance for my website

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adelina R. | Legal & Technical Translator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

What I like most about Usercentrics is that even the free version lets me localise texts in two languages, so I can reach a wider audience while staying compliant worldwide. The clear reporting and transparency tools also help me track user consent, build trust, and stay accountable.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

The price can be a bit high, which is tough for freelancers on a tight budget. It also takes some time to learn all the features, so it may not be ideal if you want something you can use right away. That said, despite these drawbacks, the platform’s strengths still make it worth using

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics is solving the crucial challenge of GDPR compliance, which can be intimidating and time-consuming for individual website owners like me. It ensures that my site is legally compliant without requiring extensive legal or technical knowledge.

**Official Response from Pascale Comaty:**

> Hello Adelina,

Thank you for sharing your experience with Usercentrics. We're glad to hear that the multilingual support and reporting features are helping you stay compliant and build trust with your audience, even on the free plan.

We also appreciate your honest feedback about pricing and the learning curve. We understand these can be challenges, especially for freelancers managing tight budgets, and we're always looking at ways to improve onboarding and make the platform more accessible. If you ever need help navigating specific features, our support team is here to assist.

Thanks again for recognizing the platform's strengths and for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 3. Consent management became much more organized after switching

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcus H. | Data Protection Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

Managing privacy compliance across different websites was becoming difficult for our team until we started using Usercentrics. The setup process was smoother than expected and the platform made cookie consent handling much easier to manage in one place. I like how flexible the customization options are because we could adjust banners and consent settings based on different regional requirements. It also provides useful visibility into user consent activity without needing extra tools.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Some advanced configuration settings take time to fully understand
The dashboard can occasionally feel crowded when managing multiple domains together
Pricing may feel slightly high for smaller businesses with simpler requirements.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using it we handled consent management manually which created inconsistencies and increased compliance risks. Usercentrics helped automate a large part of that process and made it easier to stay aligned with privacy regulations across different regions. It also reduced the amount of manual updates needed whenever policies or tracking tools changed

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Marcus,

Thank you for your review! It's great to hear that Usercentrics has brought structure to your consent management and replaced the inconsistencies of manual processes. We're glad the centralized setup, flexible customization across regions, and consent activity visibility are all working well for your team.
We appreciate your feedback on the advanced settings, multi-domain dashboard, and pricing - this is helpful input as we continue improving the experience.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 4. Effortless GDPR Compliance with Customizable Branding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** clare B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I find Usercentrics simple to use and easy to understand, which simplifies tasks that otherwise could take much longer to do. I also appreciate the fact that you can adapt the colors to match your own branding, which is a massive bonus for us. Additionally, the initial setup of Usercentrics was very easy, allowing us to complete it in a basic form in under 10 minutes.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Some more explanation on the more technical side of things would make this better. Sometimes, I think companies do not understand they're not always talking to someone with a high level of IT knowledge. Just having the ability to hover over a question mark and have it explain in layman's terms what it means would be helpful.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics assists us with GDPR compliance. It's simple to use, easy to understand, and simplifies tasks that could take much longer otherwise.

**Official Response from Pascale Comaty:**

> Hello Clare,

It's great to hear that the platform feels intuitive and that the branding customization has been a good fit for your team - and getting up and running in under 10 minutes is exactly the kind of experience we aim for!

Your point about in-app guidance for non-technical users is well taken and we'll pass the feedback along to the product team.

Thanks for taking the time to share both the positives and the areas where we can do better.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 5. Legal signed off faster than marketing expected

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marta Y. | Head of Digital Compliance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

The consent banner configurability without needing developer involvement every time something needs adjusting has changed the dynamic between our marketing and legal teams in a way that neither side fully anticipated. Marketing can test different banner configurations and legal can verify compliance requirements are being met and both teams work inside the platform independently without creating a queue of requests for our engineering team to work through. That operational independence has sped up how quickly we can respond to regulatory changes and campaign requirements at the same time without those two things being in tension with each other

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

The analytics inside the platform do not go deep enough to connect consent rate data to actual downstream marketing performance without pulling information from elsewhere.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Operating across multiple European markets with different regulatory interpretations of consent requirements was creating a compliance management problem that our legal team was handling inconsistently because the tooling did not match the complexity of what was being asked of it. Usercentrics gave us a centralised framework that applies consistently across every market we operate in and the audit documentation it generates has made our regulatory review conversations significantly more straightforward than they were when we were managing consent through a patchwork of market specific solutions that nobody had.

**Official Response from Pascale Comaty:**

> Hello Marta,

The dynamic you're describing between marketing and legal is exactly the kind of shift we hope to enable, so it's great to hear it's played out that way in practice.

Also, your point on analytics depth is well taken. Connecting consent rate data to downstream marketing performance is a gap we hear about, and that feedback is genuinely useful for how we think about the platform's direction.

If you'd like to share more details on what that connection would need to look like for your team, our product team would be happy to connect with you to learn more.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 6. Developer-Friendly Consent Management with Powerful Compliance Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Upama M. | SDE1, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

What I like best about Usercentrics is its developer-friendly approach to compliance—clean APIs, flexible customization, and seamless integration make managing consent both efficient and scalable without compromising user experience.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

What I dislike about Usercentrics is that its initial setup and customization can feel complex, especially when handling multiple regions or advanced consent scenarios, which adds to the learning curve.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics solves the challenge of managing user consent and staying compliant with regulations like GDPR and CCPA. It benefits me by automating consent handling, reducing legal risk, and providing a scalable way to integrate privacy controls into applications without slowing down development.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Upama,

Thank you for your review! We're glad the developer-friendly approach, clean APIs, and flexible customization are helping you manage consent efficiently at scale - it's great to hear this works well without compromising the user experience.

We appreciate your feedback on the initial setup complexity, especially around multi-region and advanced consent scenarios. This is valuable input that helps us continue improving.

Thank you for your trust in Usercentrics!

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 7. Compliance sorted without upsetting the marketing team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela L. | Data Protection Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

The consent configuration across different regulatory frameworks is what made Usercentrics the clear choice when we were evaluating consent management platforms. GDPR CCPA and other regional requirements are handled within the same setup rather than requiring separate solutions for each market which has simplified our compliance architecture considerably. The banner customisation is also flexible enough that our marketing team stopped treating consent management as something that damaged conversion and started treating it as something they could actually optimise.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

The analytics inside the platform give a reasonable overview but lack the depth needed to connect consent behaviour directly to specific marketing channel performance without exporting data elsewhere.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Operating across multiple markets with different data privacy requirements was creating a compliance risk that our legal team was increasingly uncomfortable with as the regulatory landscape tightened. Usercentrics gave us a centralised and auditable consent layer that our data protection officer could present to regulators with confidence. The structured consent records have also made our response process for data subject access requests significantly faster because the information is organised and retrievable

**Official Response from Pascale Comaty:**

> Hello Daniela,

Thank you for this thoughtful review. We're glad to hear that managing compliance across GDPR, CCPA, and other frameworks within a unified setup has simplified things for your team. It's especially great to know that the banner customization has shifted how your marketing team views consent management — from something that hurt conversions to something they can actively optimize.

We appreciate your feedback on the analytics capabilities. We understand the need for deeper insights that connect consent behavior to marketing channel performance without requiring external exports, and we've shared your input with our product team.

Thanks again for sharing your experience with us.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 8. Simplifies Compliance and Boosts Trust

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I really like how Usercentrics predicts privacy concerns and ensures that our website is compliant with regulations like GDPR and CCP. The ability to display and customize the cookie consent banners without much effort is a plus, and it's great seeing that everyone feels relieved when they see the banner we all love. Collecting user consent conveniently is another aspect I appreciate. The tool provides useful third-party blocking features and offers customizable cookie banners that enhance transparency and trust. It's also beneficial for controlling tools like Google Analytics based on user consent and provides insightful analytics on user interactions and engagement. I like how it distinguishes between real users and bots, which is pretty handy for analyzing website traffic. The integration with various tools, such as Fraud0 and MineOS for privacy compliance, is impressive. These integrations make Usercentrics easy to use, especially with its features like automatically blocking third-party scripts. The setup is straightforward, and its functionalities are accessible once implemented into the code.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

I would really love if they could provide more onboarding videos and tutorials because the interface can feel a bit complex, especially since I'm not very technical. Also, while customization is good, advanced changes could be easier to manage. Additionally, I wish they had more affordable pricing options for early-stage startups, or perhaps offer credits.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics helps with privacy compliance by predicting concerns and ensuring my website is GDPR-compliant. It allows customizable cookie banners, making consent collection simple, and integrates well with third-party tools. It's also effective at differentiating real users from bots, enhancing trust and transparency.

**Official Response from Pascale Comaty:**

> Hello there,

Thank you for your detailed review and for highlighting what's working well for your team - from compliance handling and banner customization to third-party blocking and the integrations with tools like Fraud0 and MineOS.

We also appreciate your feedback on onboarding resources and pricing flexibility for early-stage startups. Your input on tutorials and more accessible advanced customization options is valuable, and we've shared it with our product and education teams. If you ever need guidance with setup or configuration, our support team is happy to help walk you through specific scenarios.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with us.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 9. Essential for NGO Data Governance and Trust-Building

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Igor M. | CEO, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

For a non-governmental organization such as New European Strategies, operating in the field of strategic analysis and public policy debate, the core value of Usercentrics lies in institutional credibility and operational control over data processing, rather than in narrow, box-ticking compliance.

In practical terms, three aspects are particularly important:

First, trust-building with audiences and stakeholders. As an NGO embedded in the ecosystem of public policy, grants, donations, and expert partnerships, NES operates primarily on reputational capital. Usercentrics enables clear and transparent communication of data-processing rules, strengthening trust among readers, institutional partners, and donors—an essential asset in the non-profit sector.

Second, consent management in a knowledge- and analytics-driven environment. A think tank relies on newsletters, reports, events, content analytics, and expert communication. Usercentrics allows for a precise separation between data that are operationally necessary and those that are optional (analytics, social media, tracking), reducing legal exposure without sacrificing insight into audience engagement.

Third, regulatory alignment as part of European institutional standards. For an organization operating within the normative framework of the European Union—data protection, fundamental rights, and the rule of law—Usercentrics functions as infrastructure. It supports compliance with the expectations of grant-makers, public partners, and international institutions that increasingly audit the digital and data-governance standards of NGOs.

For New European Strategies, Usercentrics is not a marketing tool, but a component of institutional governance and operational legitimacy, fully aligned with the organization’s mission at the intersection of policy, law, and public debate.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

From the perspective of an NGO such as New European Strategies, the main drawbacks of Usercentrics stem not from its legal robustness, but from cost, complexity, and a commercial logic that is primarily optimized for for-profit digital organizations.

Three limitations stand out:

First, cost sensitivity for non-profit organizations. Usercentrics is priced and packaged with commercial publishers and enterprises in mind. For NGOs with constrained or grant-based budgets, the cost–benefit ratio can be challenging, especially when advanced features are required primarily for risk mitigation rather than revenue optimization.

Second, operational complexity relative to NGO needs. While the platform’s configurability is a strength, it can also be a burden. Smaller teams without dedicated legal–technical staff may find the initial setup, ongoing maintenance, and interpretation of settings disproportionately demanding compared to simpler consent-management solutions.

Third, limited differentiation between commercial and public-interest use cases. Usercentrics largely assumes a marketing-driven logic (conversion, monetization, advertising ecosystems). This means NGOs must often adapt features designed for ad-tech or e-commerce contexts to environments centered on research, advocacy, and public debate, where incentives and risk profiles differ significantly.

Usercentrics is a powerful and credible platform, but its structure reflects the priorities of the commercial digital economy more than those of the non-profit sector.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics addresses a structural problem faced by organizations operating in the European digital space: the gap between complex data-protection law and day-to-day digital operations. For New European Strategies, the benefit lies in turning regulatory obligations into a manageable, auditable, and credibility-enhancing process.

At the core, Usercentrics solves three interrelated problems.

First, legal fragmentation and uncertainty. European data-protection rules—most notably the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ePrivacy frameworks—are interpreted and enforced unevenly across jurisdictions. Usercentrics absorbs much of this complexity by embedding up-to-date legal logic into consent flows, reducing the risk that NES inadvertently breaches data-protection standards when publishing content, running analytics, or communicating with its audience.

Second, the operational burden of consent management. Without a dedicated system, managing user consent across websites, newsletters, analytics tools, and third-party integrations becomes manual, opaque, and error-prone. Usercentrics centralizes consent collection, storage, and documentation, giving NES a single source of truth that can be demonstrated to partners, auditors, or grant-making institutions if required.

Third, the trust deficit in data-driven public discourse. Think tanks and NGOs increasingly depend on digital channels, while audiences are more sensitive to how their data are used—particularly in policy and political contexts. By enabling clear, user-controlled consent choices, Usercentrics helps NES signal ethical restraint and institutional seriousness, reinforcing trust rather than undermining it.

Usercentrics transforms data protection from a compliance risk into an element of institutional governance and reputational resilience for New European Strategies.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Igor,

Thank you for sharing this detailed and thoughtful review. We appreciate how clearly you outline the importance of trust, transparency, and regulatory alignment for an organization like New European Strategies, and how Usercentrics supports these institutional needs beyond basic compliance.

We also value your candid perspective on cost, complexity, and the differences between non-profit and commercial use cases. Feedback like this helps us better understand how consent management is used across diverse organizational contexts.
We appreciate you taking the time to reflect on how Usercentrics supports your work.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 10. A reliable solution for handling privacy consent at scale

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liam A. | Data Privacy Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I mostly like about Usercentrics is how easy it made managing consent preferences across multiple websites and marketing tools. Earlier our compliance setup was scattered and difficult to maintain but now everything is controlled from a single dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

The setup can become a little technical when integrating with custom scripts or complex tag configurations. Some sections of the interface also feel overly detailed which may confuse less technical users initially.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now consent handling is automated and much easier to monitor which reduced compliance risks and simplified internal audits. It also improved transparency for users while helping our team manage privacy updates more efficiently.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Liam,

Thank you for your review! We're glad Usercentrics has brought everything into a single dashboard and replaced what was a scattered compliance setup. It's great to hear the automated consent handling is reducing compliance risks and simplifying your audits.

We appreciate your feedback on the setup complexity for custom integrations and the level of detail in the interface - this is useful input as we continue refining the experience.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 11. Easy to set up and navigate. Unobtrusive.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan . | Tour Guide, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I found that setting up Usercentrics was user friendly and easy to navigate. I have a very small side hustle business and I now trust Usercentrics to keep me safe regarding Data laws. I have found Usercentrics to be unobtrusive and have had no complaints from my customers.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

I can’t access the dashboard on a mobile device although I understand that is in the process of being developed.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keep me compliant with my third party booking system

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Alan,

thank you for taking the time to leave us a positive review! We're really glad to hear that Usercentrics has been easy to set up and helps you feel confident about staying compliant. We appreciate you highlighting the mobile dashboard—it's something we're actively working on. Your insights are valuable to us as we continuously strive to improve and provide the best possible experience for our customers.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 12. Technically flexible despite legal certainty

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maximilian S. | Geschäftsführer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

Usercentrics helps us to keep the "damage" caused by sometimes absurd privacy regulations as low as possible. While on one hand we can rely on fulfilling all legal requirements to the letter, the CMP is flexible enough that we can implement it in the product as minimally invasive as possible. The SDK, JavaScript events, and especially the modular technical structure of the CMP allow for minimal impact on UX & loading times - Usercentrics has done a lot right in this area over the past few years. The support from the assigned contact person is excellent and very committed to mediating internally in case of questions or suggestions. Here, you are not talking to a large company where you are speaking against a wall.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

The "DSP Scanner" - which we don't use anyway - could be a bit smarter when grouping URLs <=> Services. It often shows false positives because we have already covered the affected service as a service in the CMP. Additionally, it seems to react to user add-ons that make network requests. In case of doubt, however, I prefer to see too much rather than too little.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Let's be honest - a good CMP does not necessarily provide an immediate added value to the product, but it reduces the disadvantage through regulation. We want to give users the opportunity to quickly get an overview of the aggregation of their data, to be able to object to or agree with it as quickly as possible, and to interact with the website / the app. Our primary requirement for the CMP is to represent these steps in a legally compliant manner, but as efficiently and pleasantly for the user as possible. The flexibility of UC allows us to do this to an extent that we did not have with other solutions.

**Official Response from Yonina Spithoven:**

> Dear Maximilian,
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that the flexibility of our CMP and its minimal impact on UX support your goals, and it’s great to know our SDK and technical setup have worked well for you.

Thanks also for the feedback on the DSP Scanner, I’ll make sure to pass this along to the team. And we really appreciate your kind words about our support; being a true partner is exactly what we aim for!

We’re happy to continue supporting you in making compliance as smooth and user-friendly as possible!

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 13. Easy usability with strong consent control

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alina M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I like the simple handling of Usercentrics. I find it helpful that the code from third-party tools is only triggered when the user consents to the cookies. Additionally, I appreciate the ability to view consent statistics so that I can understand how much tracking data we receive.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

v2 and v3 of the Usercentrics banner should both have the same functionalities and look the same. In preview mode, v2 is always displayed first and the option to change it is inconspicuous. As a v3 user, this can lead to confusion.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics solves the problem that third-party tool code is only triggered after the user's consent. I appreciate the ease of use and the ability to view consent statistics to estimate the amount of tracking data.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Alina,

Thank you for your review! We're glad the consent-based triggering and consent statistics are working well for you - having visibility into how much tracking data you're receiving is a valuable insight.
We appreciate your feedback on the v2/v3 preview experience. We understand how that can cause confusion as a v3 user, and this is helpful input for us.
Thank you for your trust in Usercentrics!

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 14. Simple integration, data protection automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon H. | Geschäftsführer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I appreciate the simplicity of integrating Usercentrics, as I was able to integrate it myself on the homepage even as a layperson, without having to hire someone. Usercentrics allows me to set cookie preferences in accordance with EU regulations and to specify services as plugins in an automated, data protection-compliant manner. Additionally, I find that it looks good and professional, which leaves a positive impression.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

It would be nice if the entire page, not just the services, could be specified in a legally compliant manner through Usercentrics.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Usercentrics to set cookie settings in compliance with EU regulations. It provides services automatically as plugins and appears professional in doing so. The integration is simple, so I don't need to hire anyone and can integrate it myself on the homepage.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Simon,

Thank you for your detailed feedback!

We’re very glad to hear that the integration process was simple and approachable, even without technical expertise. It’s great to know that Usercentrics helps you manage cookie preferences in a compliant and automated way while also providing a professional appearance for your website.

We also appreciate your suggestion regarding broader legally compliant page-level specification beyond individual services and plugins. Feedback like this is valuable as we continue improving the platform and expanding its capabilities.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 15. Flexible Consent Management with Easy Integration to Google Tag Manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Romeo C. | Business Solution Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I like that Usercentrics allows me to set up multiple websites for our account, which is really helpful. The flexible pricing is a big plus, especially since we manage more than 10 websites within our company. Their pricing adapts well according to the number of allowed domains. The easy setup using Google Tag Manager is great too, as they provide templates that I can easily add in the Google Tag Manager settings. Customer support is also quite responsive and easy to communicate with.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

When it comes to the loss of data, when we initially set up the consent banner, the behavioral modeling setup is not so clear. This caused us to lose some analytics data within our platform.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics manages user consent across websites, integrates with Google Tag Manager, and ensures data is collected per user consent. Its flexible pricing and easy setup for multiple domains make managing consent straightforward, although behavioral modeling requires a few tweaks.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Romeo,

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We’re happy to hear that managing multiple websites, the flexible pricing, and the Google Tag Manager integration work well for your setup, and that our support team has been responsive.

We also appreciate your feedback on behavioral modeling during the initial setup. We understand how this can impact data collection, and we’re continuously improving our guidance to make these configurations clearer and easier to handle. Our support team is always available to help review setups if needed.

Thanks again for sharing your experience with us.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 16. Compliance sorted without upsetting the marketing team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kweku A. | Data Privacy Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

The consent banner customisation is genuinely flexible without requiring developer involvement every time something needs adjusting. Our marketing team can update configurations and manage consent categories independently which has removed a constant back and forth with engineering that used to slow everything down. Compliance reporting across different regional regulations is also handled cleanly in one place which our legal team has been vocal about appreciating.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

The initial setup for multi domain implementations took longer than we anticipated.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing cookie consent across multiple markets with different regulatory requirements was becoming a genuine compliance risk for our business. Usercentrics gave us a centralised way to handle GDPR and other regional frameworks without maintaining separate solutions for each market.

**Official Response from Pascale Comaty:**

> Hi Kweku,

Thank you for this detailed review! We're really pleased to hear that the customization flexibility has reduced dependencies between your marketing and engineering teams, and that the centralized compliance reporting is working well for your legal team across different regional requirements.

Managing consent across multiple markets with varying regulations is exactly the kind of challenge we built the platform to address, so it's great to know it's delivering value for your business. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I really like the customization options and the adaptability to all countries that Usercentrics' website offers. We can adapt all the design and usability details, and easily tailor it to each country where we sell in our ecommerce. Additionally, the initial setup was easy and quick.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

The only point to improve is the usability of the backend, it is a bit outdated.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Usercentrics to manage the cookie banner and comply with legal requirements. I can customize the design and usability, adapting it to each country where we sell.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

I like that the platform is intuitive, professional, and easy to configure, even with the free version for a small professional website.

 ### 20. Uncomplicated Consent Management for Professionals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan G. | Analista de TI

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

What I like about Usercentrics is that it is a very useful tool with dynamic ranges that manages correctly. It is very interesting to use because it is designed for the user and is easy to use. Additionally, it greatly aids in the management of consent, cookies, and everything at the legal level.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

I think overall everything works quite well, perhaps it would be better if the plans included more domains, although I don't think the domains matter as much as the sessions, right? Well, 300,000 sessions, that is indeed a correct benchmark, but the domains should be expanded a bit more.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics helps a lot in managing consent and cookies, handling everything at a legal level, including who sees it and why.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Jan,

Thank you very much for your detailed and positive review!
We’re delighted to hear that you find Usercentrics useful, dynamic, and easy to work with. It’s great to know that the platform supports you effectively in managing consent and cookies while covering the legal aspects in a clear and structured way.
We also appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the plans. Feedback like this helps us better understand what matters most to our users.

 ### 21. Easy way to manage user consent without confusion

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucia G. | Data Privacy Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

Usercentrics makes consent management simple and structured for our websites. I can configure cookie banners and consent rules without needing deep technical work. The interface is clear and helps me understand what is active and how user choices are handled.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Customization of the banner design can feel a bit limited. Some advanced settings take time to fully understand

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing user consent manually is difficult especially when dealing with different privacy regulations. Usercentrics centralizes this process and ensures that tracking only happens after proper consent. This reduces compliance risk and simplifies audits.

**Official Response from Pascale Comaty:**

> Hello Lucia,

Thanks for sharing your experience with Usercentrics. It's great to hear the platform makes consent management feel structured and approachable, and that you can configure banners and rules without heavy technical lifting.

 ### 23. Effortless Compliance and Deployment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Callum B. | Digital Marketing & Website Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I appreciate Usercentrics for its easy-to-use dashboard, which boasts a very nice appearance and provides helpful information for users who might not be fully experienced. The process of categorizing data processing services is simple and efficient, with many pre-configured settings that save me time. Usercentrics successfully solved our deployment issues with our previous compliance tool instantly. Additionally, the regular scans offered as a premium user are extremely helpful, and their guides were notably assistive. I would rate Usercentrics a 10 out of 10 for its excellent handling of cookies and ease of compliance simplification.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

I sometimes find the scan results not as accurate as they could be, and initially, they seemed a bit generic, which was problematic at first. The free scan was not beneficial, but I find the regular scans available to premium users more helpful.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Usercentrics solves compliance tool deployment issues, offering an easy-to-use dashboard, pre-configured data processing services, and simplifying compliance, making it invaluable.

**Official Response from Review Platforms:**

 ### 24. A complete solution that simplifies regulatory compliance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian P. | E-Commerce Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

The Usercentrics interface is quite intuitive. The dashboards are well organized and allow for efficient management of consents. Although the platform is comprehensive, it does not require advanced technical knowledge for everyday use. The implementation is relatively simple, especially thanks to the integration with Google Tag Manager. The process is well documented, although for websites with complex structures it may require a bit more configuration. In general, it can be set up in a few hours. Once configured, the platform requires little maintenance. Periodic updates to regulations are implemented automatically, reducing the need for constant intervention. Usercentrics offers a solid set of features that cover practically all consent management needs. Data analysis, A/B testing, and customization options are particularly useful, although some advanced features are only available in higher plans. The support team responds in reasonable times and offers practical solutions. The available documentation is comprehensive, although at times it could be more detailed for specific cases. Webinars and additional resources make up for this small shortcoming.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Although the interface is intuitive, mastering all the functionalities may require time, especially for teams without prior experience in CMPs. Although the documentation is extensive, some advanced technical aspects could be better explained with practical examples.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The question is not correctly translated into my language, so I don't exactly understand what it is trying to ask.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Dear Christian,

thank you for your thoughtful and detailed review! We're happy to hear that you find the Usercentrics interface intuitive and easy to implement, especially with Google Tag Manager. It’s great to know the platform meets your consent management needs while requiring minimal ongoing maintenance. We appreciate your feedback on the documentation and are always working to improve clarity and support. Thanks again for choosing Usercentrics!

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

 ### 26. Easy to use CMP for multiple country versions of a website

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eddie N. | Online Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

As stated in the title, it is really intuitive to use and makes managing cookie consent across multiple markets easy.

It's simple to implement with Google Tag Manager and also brandable, so it can be setup to reflect your corporate identity.

The offered reports help to identify user behavior and can be used to optimize your way to get user consent.

Beside the platform itself, I am really fond of the customer service team. They are really helpful, if you have any issues, and always try to find an optimal solution to fit your needs.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Unfortunately you can only use the bot detection for Google bots. So if you are used to rely on other crawlbots for specific technical audits, then the CMP will be shown and the crawls counted as sessions.

Another thing is, that the monthly sessions are only visible in the account settings for some unknown reason instead of the "Analytics" section.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Managing cookie consent across multiple markets, so that you are always acting how data privacy laws in each market require you to be
- Easy implementation reduces headaches and requirement of external support
- Data reports to identify unnormal consent behavior (like sessions generated by bots)

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Eddie,

thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review! We're happy Usercentrics is intuitive, easy to implement, and supports your branding and compliance needs. Your feedback on bot detection and session visibility is valuable and helps us improve.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 27. Ease of Use and Accessibility with Usercentrics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alberto D.

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I really like the ease of use and accessibility of Usercentrics, which makes cookie management for my website simple and efficient. I also find that the integration with WordPress is smooth, saving me time and effort when implementing consent management tools. The initial setup was quite easy, which was essential for the success of my project from the start. This is complemented by the fact that, for a standard user, all the functionalities are very well designed.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Sometimes, the services I disable for cookies (for example, Cloudflare or similar ones that add themselves) are restarted.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Usercentrics to manage mandatory cookies on my website, enjoying its ease of use and accessibility.

**Official Response from Yonina Spithoven:**

> Dear Alberto,

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're delighted that you choose us to support you and your project from the very beginning.

If the issue with restarted services persists, we encourage you to reach out to our support team so we can take a closer look. We’re glad our Consent Management Platform helps simplify your work, and we look forward to continuing to support you as your needs evolve.

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics CMP Team

 ### 28. Strong CMP solution with easy integration and transparent pricing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vlad B. | Chief Technology Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

The overall experience is excellent. Setting up the CMP and integrating it into our code was effortless, and configuring both the look-and-feel as well as the behavior through the web UI has been straightforward. Combined with their current pricing model, Usercentrics proved to be by far the best CMP solution for our needs.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

The definition of a session, that has a direct impact on the pricing, sometimes seems quite unfair. Especially when it comes to staging/test environments, it sometimes needs quite some effort to not get the test visits counted against the included session quota.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have replaced our self-written cookie consent banner with Usercentrics CMP which led to better browser support and effortless maintenance.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Vlad,

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re glad to hear the setup and integration were smooth, and that the customization options fit your needs well. It’s great that Usercentrics could replace your in-house solution and reduce maintenance while improving browser support. We understand your point about session definitions and appreciate the feedback - it helps us refine the experience. Your trust in choosing Usercentrics as your CMP means a lot to us!

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics team

 ### 29. Do not proceed

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel C. | SVP, Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

Honestly, very little. The dashboard is clean, and once it’s set up, it technically functions as intended. But getting to that point—and maintaining it—has been far more difficult than it should be. There are far better tools on the market that offer similar features with less friction and better support.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

I was sold on Usercentrics with the understanding that it was a flexible, easy-to-implement solution that anyone on our team could manage without heavy technical lift. That turned out not to be true. The interface is not intuitive, and most meaningful configurations require engineering-level knowledge or additional dev time—which we weren't expecting.

More frustrating is the lack of customer support after you sign. There’s no onboarding or implementation assistance, and no customer success contact to guide you. Support tickets take a long time to get a response, and when they do, the answers are often incomplete or generic. At one point, we waited over a week for help with a fairly basic implementation question.

There’s also no meaningful documentation for state-level compliance (e.g., California, Virginia), which is surprising for a product in this space. Any flexibility they claim to offer in banner behavior is either buried or gated behind advanced logic that requires external development help.

Overall, if you're expecting a partner to guide you through CMP compliance—especially in complex legal environments like the U.S.—this isn’t it. You’re mostly on your own.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a consent management platform to ensure compliance with GDPR and U.S. state-level privacy laws. Usercentrics technically provides the infrastructure to do that, but the lack of support, flexibility, and ease-of-use has made it feel more like a liability than a solution.

**Official Response from Review Platforms:**

> Dear Daniel C.,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We understand how important ease of use, onboarding, and timely support are, especially when navigating complex data compliance requirements.

We’re continuously working to improve our documentation, interface, and overall support experience. As part of this, we’ve recently launched a new onboarding checklist and enhanced documentation to help guide our customers more effectively.

We also recognize that timely support is critical. Due to a recent large influx of support requests, response times have been longer than usual, and we regret that this may have delayed your implementation. If you’re still encountering challenges, we’d appreciate the opportunity to better understand and support you. Please feel free to reach out to us at support@usercentrics.com.

Best regards,
Your Usercentrics Team

 ### 30. Quick, Simple and it works like a charm

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philip H. | Managing director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I was honestly surprised at how easy it was to get the Usercentrics Cookiebot plugin set up on my WordPress site. Installation took just a couple of minutes, and it was up and running right away without any complicated steps or technical hurdles.

What I really appreciate is that it just works — no headaches, no tinkering around in the backend for hours. The plugin integrated seamlessly with my site, and I could see it doing its job immediately.

If you want a straightforward solution that saves time and gives you peace of mind about compliance, this plugin is an absolute win. Super quick & super smooth.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

At this point I have not experienced any downsides.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics is solving the headache of cookie compliance for me. Instead of stressing about GDPR, consent banners, or whether my site is meeting all the legal requirements, the plugin takes care of it automatically. It keeps me compliant without me having to dig into regulations or code, which saves me tons of time and worry. The big benefit is that I can focus on running my site and growing my business, knowing that the compliance side is fully handled in the background.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Philip,

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear how quick and seamless the WordPress setup was and that the plugin worked right away without extra effort. It’s great to know Cookiebot is taking the stress out of compliance so you can focus on growing your business. We truly appreciate your trust in Usercentrics!

Usercentrics offers a robust and user-friendly platform for managing cookie consent across multiple domains, which is especially helpful for businesses with a broad digital presence. The UI is intuitive, and setting up consent banners is quick and flexible. I particularly appreciate the detailed customization options and the ability to tailor consent flows per region, which helps ensure GDPR and CCPA compliance with minimal manual effort. Additionally, the platform’s regular updates and transparent communication contribute to a trustworthy user experience.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

While the overall experience is positive, I’ve encountered occasional lags in the admin dashboard, especially when managing a large number of services or configurations.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics helps us address the increasingly complex requirements of data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA by providing a centralized platform to manage user consent. It allows us to easily deploy and maintain compliant cookie banners across a wide range of websites, including multi-domain setups. This not only reduces legal risk but also saves time for our development and legal teams. By offering transparency and control to our users, we also build trust—leading to improved user experience and engagement rates.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Steffen,

thank you for your detailed review! It's great to hear that Usercentrics is making consent management easier for you and helping with compliance across your sites.
We appreciate your note on dashboard performance and are working to improve it.
Thanks again for your support.

 ### 36. Handles constant consent updates without headache

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lukas H. | Senior IT solutions architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

A couple of years ago, we had to get on top of GDPR for a customer on boarding portal, which is basically a collection of web apps talking to each other. We looked at a couple solutions and ended up going with Usercentrics for cookie management and consent tracking. Honestly, the thing that saved us the most pain was the pre-built templates for privacy policies and all the premade vendor listings. It took the pressure of us having to research each vendor’s purpose. The UI is pretty clear too. The best thing for us was how you could adjust the look and the feel of the consent banners fairly easily. So that was a nice surprise for us. On a side note, their customer support was actually responsive.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Okay so it’s not perfect. The reporting/dashboarding feels stuck in the basics. We wanted to drill down into micro user consent event by region, but there are a lot of canned reports and not much custom filtering. It’s not broken, just not super flexible.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So it’s actually taken a lot off our plates. We don’t need an emergency sync up every time a new ad tool drops. Tagging updates in Usercentrics is routine now as opposed to being a scramble. Saves us meetings, which honestly is the dream. Productivity? yeah, definitely up. We trust the consent tracking, so we can focus on shipping features instead of GDPR busywork. Worth mentioning visitor are also interacting with our onboarding forms much more, probably because the banner looks friendly and less like a jump scare.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Lukas,

thank you for your detailed and honest feedback! It’s great to hear that the templates and vendor listings helped simplify your setup, and that customizing the consent banner worked well for your onboarding process. We appreciate your comments about the reporting—while it covers the basics, we understand the need for more flexibility and are working on improvements. It’s encouraging to know Usercentrics has helped reduce your workload and allowed your team to focus on what matters most. Thanks again for sharing your experience!

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sporting Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

I appreciate how intuitive the platform is — it makes something usually complex, like cookie consent and compliance, much easier to handle. I also like that it feels reliable and professional.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Sometimes it feels a bit too rigid and complex to customize — especially when you want to adjust the design or fine-tune how the banner behaves. It can also be a bit heavy on page load.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics helps me stay compliant with GDPR and other privacy regulations without having to manually manage all the legal and technical details. It centralizes cookie consent and tracking management, which saves time and ensures transparency for users.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

One downside of Usercentrics is that the initial setup and configuration can be complex, especially for large websites or multi-domain implementations

 ### 42. Usercentrics helps us stay in control of privacy and compliance without the manual hassle.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas T. | Business Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

Setting up privacy policies and running automatic scans with Usercentrics has greatly improved our digital governance. The interface is straightforward, requiring no specialized training. It reliably detects new technologies across our sites, keeping us compliant without manual audits. The automatic cookie scan ensures our consent notices stay accurate and current—offering real control and reliability.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Their technical support is among the best I’ve encountered. They respond quickly with clear and practical solutions, not just generic replies. In one case, they even helped us avoid a potential implementation issue before it became a problem.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall Usercentrics has given us much–needed visibility and automation in managing active cookies, third–party technologies and regulatory compliance (like GDPR). It’s also made internal audits easier and strengthened user trust by showing a clear commitment to privacy.

 ### 43. Easy to use and reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greta . | Project coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

We’ve been using Usercentrics (Cookiebot) to manage GDPR compliance, and it’s been great so far. The platform is easy to use, reliable, and covers all the functionalities our business needs. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a straightforward cookie and consent management solution.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Not all text elements are easily translatable. For example, the "ABOUT" section still appears in English, and I couldn’t find a way to localize it to our language. It’s a minor issue, but for full multilingual compliance, it would be great to have control over all labels.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics helps us stay GDPR-compliant by managing cookie consent clearly and legally. It scans and categorizes cookies, making it easy for users to control their preferences. This saves us time, reduces legal risk, and builds trust with our visitors.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Greta,

thank you for the thoughtful review! We're happy to hear Usercentrics is helping you manage GDPR compliance effectively and that the platform meets your business needs. We appreciate your note about localization—ensuring full language support is important, and your feedback helps us improve.

 ### 46. Solid CMP for our company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin M. | 3D Druck / Selbstständig im Nebengewerbe, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

Usercentrics CMP helped us a lot in migrating to an easy to use, easy to manage solution for our cookie consent management. Our CSM is well reachable.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

When we introduced it, we missed S2S functionality, which UC is now integrating.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use UC CMP to manage consent for our used third party services on the platform.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hey Benjamin,

 ### 47. Simple. Secure. Reliable.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max B. | Senior E-Commerce Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

What I appreciate most about Usercentrics is how easy it is to integrate and use. The setup is straightforward, and once it’s running, I barely have to touch it – it truly is a set-and-forget solution. Despite rarely needing to log in, whenever I do have a question or need support, the customer service team is outstanding: always friendly, super professional, and incredibly responsive. They really take the time to understand my needs and always find a solution. That level of support makes a huge difference.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Honestly, it’s not the tool itself that I dislike – it’s the fact that we’re required to manage cookies and implement a CMP in the first place. But that’s just the reality of today’s legal environment, and Usercentrics helps us handle it in the best possible way.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usercentrics continuously scans my websites and automatically detects new cookies or tracking technologies. It suggests how to categorize them and enables easy management via Google Tag Manager. One of the biggest benefits for me is that it also keeps the legal texts for each service up to date automatically, which helps me stay compliant without having to constantly monitor changes myself.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hello Max,

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you find Usercentrics easy to integrate and use, and that our customer service team has made such a positive impact. We’re glad to be your reliable solution in navigating the legal requirements.
Thanks again for trusting Usercentrics!

Kind regards,
The Usercentrics Team

 ### 48. Efficient Consent Management, a strong partner in data protection and compliance

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dominik U. | Head of Material Date & Information Products, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

As an internationally operating company with various markets, we place great importance on data protection and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ePrivacy). Usercentrics helps us to implement these requirements consistently and reliably and provides the necessary tools to document consent data in a traceable manner.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

For standard cases, the documentation is good. For complex use cases (e.g., custom APIs, individual consent logics, deeper integration), we would have liked more examples and best practices.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The extensive library with pre-made vendor templates and sensible cookie/service categories saved us a lot of time. We didn't have to manually research and classify all services.

**Official Response from Hanna Sternkopf:**

> Hey Dominik,

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad to hear that Usercentrics helps you implement compliance consistently and that the vendor library has saved you time. We also appreciate your feedback on documentation for more complex use cases - insights like yours help us continue improving.

 ### 49. Easy Setup and Reliable Tracker Monitoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Usercentrics?**

Simple to set up, constant scanning of our website keeps a count of any new trackers that might have been added without us noticing.

**What do you dislike about Usercentrics?**

Their pricing model: Even if we just display consent banners to specific regions, we still get charged for sessions from all regions, even the ones we don't have subject to consent.

**What problems is Usercentrics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to collect marketing/analytics consent from users visiting our website. Usercentrics lets us easily do that, while also making sure we didn't miss anything.
