After advancing to the second round, I noticed that the "submission title" (the number assigned by the Untap system) got changed. Personally, I find this quite confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Untap?

What I find frustrating about Untap is that its performance can slow noticeably when handling very large idea sets, integration options with some popular tools feel limited without custom development, and the built-in reporting—while useful—often lacks the depth needed for more advanced analytics; on top of that, costs can climb quickly as your user base expands. What do you like best about Untap?

The support team is extremely responsive. We can contact them via email and the chat function, and we have regularly scheduled virtual meetings to discuss any specific questions, to receive updates on progress, and occasionally as a bit of a tutorial. They're very knowledgable, react incredibly swiftly, and do their best to make the program do what we want it to do.

The software itself has a clean and easily customisable interface, with intuitive functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Untap?

It would be helpful to have a more in-depth tutorial, e.g. a recorded demo session, or a more detailed step-by-step guide to introduce new users to the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Untap?

Three things. 1) Value for the money. Alternatives were $5k+ /year. 2) It's very easy to set up the site and the judging criteria for anyone with any experience with WordPress or similar software. 3) The customer support is awesome - they make you feel like a million bucks even if they don't charge a million bucks. Customer support is needed to finalize launching the site (for us it involved integrating with Paypal and our webhost.) They also offer additional support, for example, they helped us make some changes to the submission form with conditional logic, and changed around what fields were visible to some users. What do you dislike about Untap?

It's a newish piece of software, so there are other companies with more bells and whistles (I've looked.) And I'm sure if you need something connected to an existing CRM there are better options. But if you have a relatively small (in the hundreds of submissions) awards program, I don't think these guys can be beat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the admin interface is great actually and the features were amazing but if it was a bit simpler it would have made my journey as a first time user smoother, having said that, Their team provided very detailed support, I didn't face a problem using the platform.
