One thing that could improve the platform is the addition of more admin-style tools. Right now, you can star candidates that catch your eye and share them with colleagues, which is great. But it would be even more useful if there were annotation tools available, allowing you to write notes directly on a candidate’s profile. This way, you could easily remember what stood out about them without having to rely on memory or separate notes. It would make the hiring process even smoother and more efficient! Underdog was a fantastic resource to help in sourcing a strong pipeline for candidates for a variety of roles in the US across product, engineering, and similar roles. It's incredibly easy and intuitive to use and integrated directly with the ATS system we use. The candidates that I engaged with from Underdog were consistenly strong and even if they didn't receive an offer, were always relevant and timely candidates that were worth engaging with. Depending on the particular types of roles and profiles you are searching for, you may find limited profiles that will meet the needs of your hiring. However, the team from Underdog are very transparent about where their pipeline(s) are strongest, and open to sharing candidates they may be connected with that do not appear on the platform for very niche positions.
