The candidates on there are seriously top-notch, and it’s been a game changer to have a platform where I can reach out to people who might not even know our company exists. It’s perfect for startups without a big name yet or even more established companies that might seem less exciting on paper. You get to connect with candidates directly, which is way better than going through the usual corporate HR hoops. I love that you can filter by industry, so it's easy to find candidates who have already dealt with the same kind of problems we're facing. Plus, you can see what type of company stage they’re interested in, so you're not wasting anyone's time. The candidates are usually pretty quick to respond, and if they’re not, the team at Underdog.io is great at giving them a little nudge. The staff there are super helpful and genuinely nice. Overall, I’d recommend Underdog.io to any hiring manager out there. It’s a really effective platform, and the pricing is reasonable, which is a huge plus. **What do you dislike about Underdog.io?** One thing that could improve the platform is the addition of more admin-style tools. Right now, you can star candidates that catch your eye and share them with colleagues, which is great. But it would be even more useful if there were annotation tools available, allowing you to write notes directly on a candidate’s profile. This way, you could easily remember what stood out about them without having to rely on memory or separate notes. You get to see all the potential candidates firsthand, so you don’t have to rely on anyone else’s judgment. It also integrates easily with a lot of ATS, which is a huge plus for keeping the hiring process smooth. And if you’re working with a team, Underdog makes it easy to share candidates back and forth, so you can quickly get everyone on the same page. It's incredibly easy and intuitive to use and integrated directly with the ATS system we use. The candidates that I engaged with from Underdog were consistenly strong and even if they didn't receive an offer, were always relevant and timely candidates that were worth engaging with. **What do you dislike about Underdog.io?** Depending on the particular types of roles and profiles you are searching for, you may find limited profiles that will meet the needs of your hiring. The crowd is still less and only similar kinds of opportunities are in sight **What problems is Underdog.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** Underdog is an online web portal that lets you either hire or find jobs in NYC regions and beyond that.
