# Which travel management tools handle multi-leg trips and group bookings without interface complexity?

This is a tougher filter than ordinary travel booking because a platform can be very easy for a simple round trip and still become frustrating once several travelers or flight legs are involved. What we're hoping to find:

A booking flow that doesn't require re-entering the same traveler details leg by leg

Group booking that keeps everyone's itinerary linked, not scattered across separate confirmations

Real-time visibility for whoever's managing the trip, not just the individual traveler

Support that can intervene mid-trip if a leg gets disrupted

Based on G2 reviews:

Amadeus Cytric: Superior travel content aggregation lets travelers compare multiple providers on one screen, which matters most exactly when a trip has several legs to coordinate.

Egencia by Amex GBT: Proactive AI provides visibility into the full picture of a trip, rather than one leg at a time.

Deem: Built to be comprehensive enough for complex trips while staying streamlined enough that travelers actually use it instead of avoiding it.

For anyone who's booked a genuinely complex multi-leg group trip through one of these: did the interface actually hold up, or did you end up calling an agent partway through anyway?

The real stress test is whether complexity stays inside the platform instead of spilling into agent calls and manual itinerary tracking. I’d compare traveler-detail reuse, linked group itineraries, disruption handling, and whether trip managers can see every leg and traveler in one place once plans start changing.

The historical-data question is important, but I’d also watch what teams choose not to migrate. Moving years of production history into a new MES can add a lot of risk for little operational value. I’d be curious whether MasterControl or L2L users kept legacy data accessible elsewhere and started the new system with a cleaner operational baseline.
