What do you like best about typedesk?

I use typedesk for writing pre-canned responses like customer support or emails, which has shortened my time. I like using quick commands such as the forward slash combined with the type of my choice, which makes it very fast to use. I think the interface is also simple and fairly intuitive to set up, so anyone can really do it. I find it valuable because it's easy to use without a lot of friction; I don't have to open a bunch of applications or set up a bunch of commands. I can simply create one shortcut for a paragraph response for each typical point I need to address, which significantly cuts down my time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about typedesk?

Sometimes the copy paste function can behave strange, meaning it'll type twice or not paste, which I'm not sure if it's something to do with the actual software or the text boxes that I'm trying to input into. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about typedesk?

It saves me a lot of time. Instead of manually copy and pasting repetitive emails and then customizing each with names, etc., Typedesk makes it super easy for me to just either use shortcuts or double click on the template and use the various fill-in options with ease. These dynamic fill-ins are amazing. You won't know you need it until you've tried it!

The interface is also very intuitive and easy to use.

What do you dislike about typedesk?

Unfortunately, it sometimes crashes for no reason. It's no big deal because I just restart and it doesn't really cause any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about typedesk?

It works great for sending canned messages; I'm able to set variables to enter the recipient's name and other details. Also, I can set text for the morning or afternoon accordingly. Webhooks is great!... when a canned message is sent, you can have a register added to certain tool or send an email, etc... with the variables in the text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about typedesk?

For anyone using identical or somewhat similar messages/responses/communication on a regular basis (emails, slack, chat support, etc) - this is a GREAT tool. It allows you to craft the response you want, include dynamic fields so it leaves room for different situations, and saves you time typing, saves on typos, and also keeps your messaging/responses consistent across the board. What do you like best about typedesk?

We've been using Typedesk for a couple of years now and it has save an immense amount of time and effort. It's in use everyday in come shape or form.

Whether its the integrated plugin or the desktop app, everything is intuitive and easy to use and theres a constant floow of updates coming down the pipe.

What do you like best about typedesk?

I use Typedesk for giving instructions to staff members. Typedesk makes it easy to set up templates that I know will get the message across to my team, but which take less time to write because I can just fill in the bits that vary and everything else is pre-filled. It's quicker and easier than copying and pasting existing text.
