I suppose what I dislike the most about Twliio is what makes it so strong; it doesn't abstract away technical details so it can be a little daunting to use at first. When having to run system communications for long distances or thru mutiple amplifiers, certain connections could be pre set up to make the final hook up alot smoother. Twilio is perfect for developers who want to have an easy way to connect their application to a phone and SMS solution. Their developer page is beyond great as well their offer amazing customer support and give you guidelines on how to accomplish something in an easier way with far less code. We have been using Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking as our secondary provider for our outgoing VOIP calls for some time now. We wanted a second provider in case the first provider fails. We've benefitted from having this second provider by having more reliability for the rare instances when our primary provider is offline or fails.
