"Intelligent platform with amazing customer success support"

What do you like best about TrustWorks?

When we had a demo, I was really surprised by the way the platform was set up. They are miles away from what we saw in the market, really.

The UI and UX are straightforward and super clever. The platform is much lighter than the clunky approach favored by others, but its features are much more intelligent. Their features, integrations and workflows save us a load of time and lead to much better results.

Their customer success team is impressive, and integration was super easy. Moving our ROPA from our previous platform to TrustWorks and setting up our DSAR took no time, and they even suggested tweaks that immediately improved our approach.

What do you dislike about TrustWorks?

What problems is TrustWorks solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were happy with our previous data protection management platform, but we were bothered by some incomplete workflows and limitations with our ROPA, Risk Assessment and DSAR modules. There were always a few details that harmed our user experience and took longer than we wanted to spend on these tasks. We turned to TrustWorks to make our approach more efficient. We are still early users, but all the problems we had with our previous platform are in the past. It was really quite impressive how quick it was to set up and how clever their approach is. What do you like best about TrustWorks?

The use of Trustworks' AI mechanisms for populating the RoPA represents a substantial advancement, enabling the automated reading of documents from other platforms used by the company and the direct input of this information by the AI itself. This results in a significant reduction in workload, efficiently optimizing our processes. What do you dislike about TrustWorks?

I wouldn't say this is a dislike, but considering it is a new app, there are still features to be evolved. But this is not a bad thing, they are evolving really fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TrustWorks solving and how is that benefiting you?

The functionality challenges faced by my company included: (i) difficulty in updating data processing activities in the RoPA, a problem that was resolved through the integrations implemented by Trustworks; (ii) the lack of an automated channel for handling data subject rights, a solution currently being developed to ensure the Privacy team no longer needs to respond to DSRs directly; and (iii) difficulty in identifying opportunities for technical improvements in privacy on the platform, as personal data mapping was performed manually. We are now developing a feature with Trustworks to keep this mapping automatically updated, bringing greater efficiency and accuracy to the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern and uncomplicated solution for managing privacy operations"

What do you like best about TrustWorks?

Trustworks gives us exactly what we need as a growing fintech company: a modern tool for managing privacy operations with an uncomplicated interface and backed up by excellent hands on, knowledgable and friendly support. It is easy to set up and can be integrated easily with common systems like Okta and Google to identify and pull the details of your databases (the ones you know about and shadow systems), which serves as a solid foundation for your record of processing activies from this list of repositories. I particularly like how the data repositories can be linked to the RoPA, assessments and even data subject rights by fully customisable workflows. We also integrate the DSR module with our Jira service desk, ops slack channel and no-reply mailbox to manage data subject rights requests

The team at Trustworks is also forward-thinking: their use of AI to populate the records of vendors and systems, flag potential risks and suggest risk descriptions and generate various bits and pieces of iinformation for the RoPA is very useful when trying to manage a RoPA at scale and allows me to focus my time and effort on what matters: making sure our priority business processes are recorded in detail and assessing risks posed to data subjects. What do you dislike about TrustWorks?

The user interface could be improved and some controls and features aren't where you'd expect them to be or are not intuitive. But Trustworks is a young company and I know there are plans to do this in the pipeline to improve these things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TrustWorks solving and how is that benefiting you?

Simpliifying privacy operations. Most tools are bloated and are just juiced up questionnaire tools with workflow functionality bolted on. Trustworks goes back to basics and is trying to solve real problems faced by privacy teams in fast-moving tech companies: code constantly changing, new vendors being added, everyone trying out the next big AI tool.
