&lt;p&gt;Connector count alone can hide quite a bit. I’d compare how deep the commonly used integrations actually go, especially whether they support the triggers and actions a team needs without dropping into webhooks. Ten thousand shallow connectors may save less development time than a smaller library with strong coverage of the workflows you actually automate.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Zapier would be my first pick when avoiding custom connectors is the main goal. I’d still expect custom work around niche internal tools or unusual data flows, but for common SaaS apps, the pre-built coverage should remove most of that effort.&lt;/p&gt;
