# Is Insight Assurance worth it for auditing services?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hoping to get a read from the people who review and research auditing services: is<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/insight-assurance/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/insight-assurance/reviews"><strong>Insight Assurance</strong></a> actually worth it?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Here's my read from the outside. It sits at the top of the<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/auditing-services"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/auditing-services">auditing services</a> category on G2, and the pitch is easy to like: fixed fees with no surprise costs, a wide menu (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, up to FedRAMP and CMMC), partnerships with Vanta, Drata, Secureframe and others, and 24/7 guidance from a dedicated team. Their own line is "Big 4 quality without the layers of bureaucracy."</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">What I can't tell from the outside:</p><ul>
<li>Does the flat fee stay flat when scope grows mid-audit?</li>
<li>Is the 24/7 support real once you're deep in an engagement, or mostly a sales line?</li>
<li>Does their report carry weight with picky enterprise security teams, the way a Big 4 name does?</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">That's my read. The flat fee holding when scope grows mid-audit is the question I&#39;d push on hardest before signing. Most firms define scope tightly upfront and price changes when infrastructure or controls expand during fieldwork. Whether Insight Assurance&#39;s fixed-fee promise survives a scope conversation is the real signal from anyone who&#39;s been through a second audit with them.
