TrustArc's Consent Mode template was well thought out and made to make it easy for marketers to apply consent mode to GTM tags. Working with the TrustArc team and engineers it's also clear that they really care to hear about their integrations and tools so they can look for ways to improve. TrustArc makes it easy to setup geo specific cookie consent groups and implement the core scripts to your website or via GTM (or some other tag management platform). TrustArc's default cookie is an implied state rather than what user consent to. Once users consent a cmpai_cookie_privacy cookie is set and that is great but when you want implied consent to be granted by default for certain geo locations this becomes challenging to setup GTM tags for multiple geo groups such as EU vs US vs US California. I dislike that the Assessments module and the Vendor module operate as separate systems. This separation makes it difficult to link assessments to vendors within the platform unless both modules are purchased. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use the TRUSTe Certified Privacy seal on our website, and it's been a straightforward way to show users that we take data privacy seriously. TrustArc takes long time or almost impossible to consider customer feedback and make changes to product. very basic functionality like search by CMID is not available in CCM Admin Portal. Search feature is not up to the mark.

11/4/25: 1. Still unable to search by CMID 2. Duplicate / orphaned CM instances exist. If user deletes unique URLs, the entire CM instance should be deleted automatically. Why to keep empty instance with just template Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our organization only uses the Enterprise Cert and GDPR Validation. They are invaluable during vendor assessments and due diligence, as it serves as instant, verified proof of our commitment to data privacy and that our practices align with GDPR requirements.
