The Income statement sort/comparison options are quite limited.

Also the way to set up any credit card fees from Paypal is very hard to do as it doesn't import that data from Paypal itself so I have to manually set up a cc fee account for Paypal. I had to read over their tutorials but still doesn't come easy for me. Now I just avoid Paypal payments completely to make my accounting easier.

I am still trying to figure out a way to set a capital account without having it show as income. Lots to learn for someone who isn't familiar with accounting terms and practices.

I haven't found a way (I didn't really ask the team for help) to set discounts on my invoice so that clients could see they were getting discounts.

The customization of invoice look has some glitches as well. No matter how many times I save the template I want, it always revert back to the first one on the list.

It's difficult for me to understand how to set up "deposit" amounts. I think this has to do with me not coming from accounting background. It just doesn't make sense how the tutorial shows it.

Again I haven't used other accounting softwares so I wouldn't know if they're all just meant to be used by accountants so my feedback is very limited to my personal experience/knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kashoo has taken something that could be a huge administrative burden and simplified and made it easy. With only a few minutes and some simple clicks I am able to stay up to date each week. And when it comes to taxes and other year end requirements, I cannot believe how little time is required to export and send everything to my accountant. It's been a huge benefit to my business and my ability to stay focused on my clients rather than the bookkeeping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are more reports I would like to run. It will not work on my iphone and ipad because I am running my business in multi-currency (US and Canada). I also wish there could be a simple way to turn that off and run it on my ipad anyway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find some of the fields hard to find, like when invoicing, there is briefly an email option for example, and it disappears and the process could be more streamlined, easier to go from creating invoice to emailing it to clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been a Kashoo customer for many years now. When I started my own business from the ground up, it was great that it was an approachable cost to start, and then I also could grow with it. I now have 3 people that have access to it, and they are all in different locations, so the cloud capabilities make it so easy for me to do on the road as well. I also use mostly Mac Computers, so when I started, most of the accounting software was designed for PC. Again, their easy web and cloud version was so easy to learn and use. I also loved that although I had very basic accounting knowledge, I could use it and also get help from time to time quickly and at no extra cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike that I cannot adjust the outgoing email wording that comes with the invoices. This seems like an easy place where owners can customize a message that reflects their business and their type of customers. The one-size-fits-all approach for this is not great. Sometimes the bank reconciliations do not automatically load, and I find that I have to refresh or manually add them in. I would also like to be able to preload on the customer screen a CC or BCC for when invoices and statements are sent out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simple to use, clean interface, quick and efficient. The Stripe integration allows for good payment by clients. Their payroll integration with Payment Evolution is great. Their webinars are very informative and the few times I contacted support, they were prompt. When we initially evaluated the service, it was compared to 3 other cloud based services. A certified accountant that looked over the review process gave Kashoo the highest score.

The app doesn't support multi-currency profiles (though the web does). No accountants are familiar with it, making it "frowned upon" by most. Being in Quebec, it'd be nice if the interface was also in French, as reports and sharing the account with accountants would be easier to follow. Having graph reports would be nice, at the moment all the data needs to be exported to Excel and you have to take care of building a graph. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
