However, there is a higher cost to using it compared to similar cloud-based solutions like Google Forms. I think that the QuickSurveys solution has more flexibility though, so the extra cost is worth it for our uses. **Recommendations to others considering Toluna Start:** QuickSurveys can be worth the cost if you have a large user base to draw data from. We can create forms quickly without the need for graphic design experts or web programmers. The system has run very smoothly and we have never had any adverse technical issues with corrupt data or surveys not appearing properly. ### 5. It makes it easy to program, launch to your quotas, and close all within a 24 hour period. It also is extremely convenient that all of the reporting is all in one place within the platform. The account team is also extremely helpful when loading credits onto our account and helping us get the survey up and running ASAP. **What do you dislike about Toluna Start?** Even when you put nat rep quotas on in the platform, the sample doesn't necessarily match nat rep. It normally skews at least 60% female so then needs to be weighted after the fact. I feel like there have been a few logic things that I have wanted to include in a TQS study as well and couldn't, but off the top of my head I can't remember exactly what this was. **Recommendations to others considering Toluna Start:** Definitely worth looking into if you need to run a quick study with a few questions. Compared to standard web forms, QuickSurveys makes conditional questions easier to implement. I also like the way we can add photos to make the surveys more dynamic and enjoyable to fill out. I don't feel that most of our QuickSurveys surveys are cumbersome to go through for the end user. I don't have to spend that much time crunching the numbers, and can instead focus on the analysis of the results. I also like the preview feature which lets you test out your survey beforehand exactly as a user would, so that you can visualize what participants will be seeing. The graphics are warm and inviting from the survey participants' point-of-view, which makes me feel like participants will be more likely to stay engaged when taking the survey and not rush through. **What do you dislike about Toluna Start?** The interface gets very crowded when you are looking at multiple cross-tabs. To view all of the information when you are looking at the "Results" of your survey, you are forced to scroll vertically and horizontally in some very tight, clustered windows. Survey-building features are not necessarily intuitive. I've worked with PHP and other code to create form processing scripts that load directly from web servers and am really happy with not having to go through all that with QuickSurveys. **What do you dislike about Toluna Start?** I think QuickSurveys has mostly worked well for us thus far, I would like for there to be more custom options to make the forms function in more detailed ways. In addition, if you buy the premium version you can get even more custom solutions and ways of designing your survey. You also can get unlimited help and designs to add to your poll and there is no limit on how many people can answer your survey. **What do you dislike about Toluna Start?** The free version does not have that many features and so if you want to use this product to its best ability you would have to buy the premium version. It is so easy to use and has been instrumental in helping me create easy to use and navigable surveys. What's even better is that I am able to create as many surveys as I want for free. I like that I am able to be specific with the data and a little more broad. **What do you dislike about Toluna Start?** I dislike that it says it is a free survey site but then when you go to pricing it says Premium Feature Plan, $85/month. That can be misleading. Complex and hard hitting surveys. Not your basic surveys and polls you would use on Survey Monkey. QuickSurveys is meant to be used for professional purposes and pool large amounts of data. It provides real time reporting. You can be very specific with your surveys or vague. It all depends on the type of answers and data you are looking to collect and obtain. It has real time targeting and reporting.
