I use Toggl Track daily and since finding it stopped looking for another option to track my time. Ease of use. Ease setting up companies & rates. Ability to jump between different companies and rates. Reports that make invoicing easy. Track on computer and phone. Alerts when tracker has been running for a long time. Improvements made with APP through time. I am a surface user, I am sure there are way more amazing capabilities with this APP if I was to deep dive. It makes it simple to measure time spent on tasks and projects, establish numerous projects for each customer, add descriptions and tags, and run reports depending on those criteria. Toggl Track generates basic reports that may be downloaded as CSV or PDF files. Having a desktop program and the ability to run the timer straight in a browser is a helpful feature. Toggl Track makes it simple to keep track of how much time is spent on certain activities or projects; it's simple to establish distinct projects for each customer, tag them, and then filter them in reports. What do you dislike about Toggl?

I've encountered a couple instances when the finish times of my sessions were not captured in the desktop app. After contacting support, I was told that this was most likely due to my cursor being mistakenly positioned wrongly while labeling each session, limiting its capacity to update in real time. Finding a prior project and resetting the timer takes time as well, because I have to look for the item I want using the online interface and manually copy and paste descriptions and tags. The user-friendly interface helps me to simply organize all of my work in one spot, and the reporting option allows me to see how far I've come on each project in a particular time frame. Toggl Track is quite beneficial for immediately determining where I spend the most of my time and how far I've progressed on each project. We utilized the app's data to re-evaluate when there were too many projects running concurrently, such as bringing on more partners or modifying my allotted hours. One thing I dislike about Toggl Track is that it does not allow me to set a timer for my activities in 5 or 15 minute intervals, thus I cannot obtain correct seconds. The timer will occasionally show that it did not turn on after I set it. When this occurs, I must manually log in when I begin working, which adds another degree of complication and consumes more of my time each day just keeping records. Toggl enables me to learn from previous projects and estimate better for future projects; I can learn from metrics and improve time estimates; and I appreciate the multiple perspectives, which help me understand my calendar and the projects on which my team spends the most time. In a chaotic office, the simple yet adaptable design allows me to easily keep track of how much time I spend on various activities. Toggl Track's simplicity makes it a wonderful tool; I've used it for both business and personal time monitoring. It's incredibly adjustable and error-checking, and timer start/stop is quite smooth; even the option to change the start time of a running timer is very useful and intuitive from a user standpoint. Setting up workspaces isn't the nicest part since if you modify information, such as the name, it doesn't appear to be changed. When you use the plugin and rapidly test the name and project, it might be difficult to select the proper project. The standalone Mac app has an unpleasant tendency of finishing tasks in hibernation. The reports are the nicest part; this feature greatly simplifies my job, and the team time tracker allows me to see which tasks demand more energy or hours. I used to spend a lot of time hopping between tasks during the day, but now that I have Toggl, I can keep track of everything.
