"Tracking time to effectively charge for professional services"

What do you like best about TMetric?

Tracking time is incredibly easy. You can manually track, set up the Chrome extension that can add time-tracking for you with websites, or use the desktop app to track time automatically with all your computer applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TMetric?

The fact that "breaks" are recorded for literally any time that isn't explicitly accounted for is misleading. Accounting for every minute may be good for companies that choose or need to micromanage the minor details, but I'd be okay with TMetric having an option to round up or down to the nearest 5 min. mark. What problems is TMetric solving and how is that benefiting you?

My company created a new team for implementing professional services, and my boss wanted to create accurate SOWs. Before TMetric, we estimated time spent on said services, often resulting in a vast margin of error. Overcharging a customer is unprofessional, and undercharging means lost revenue and a customer not understanding the value of the service they purchased. What do you like best about TMetric?

TMetric is simple, I guess everybody writes about it, so it's true :) Since I'm the admin in the workspace I had to configure the settings and now I'm the one who manages the account, and it's really easy. Using a time tracker is not a requirement in my company, it's just a personal desire of some colleagues. We wanted to improve our time management, to see where our time goes during the day, how much time is dedicated to each task and TMetric came along. The app met our needs in full thanks to simple time tracking options and user-friendlly interface. As a marketing manager, I'd like to see into the time I spend on each of my tasks and projects, and TMetric serves my needs perfectly for this purpose thanks to its time tracking options, project, and task management features. I also like that I can create different kinds of reports for analyzing the time logs, they are really simple yet detailed and clear and can be downloaded if any of my clients decide to ask for one.
