# Insight Assurance vs Johanson Group: which auditing services provider is better for SOC and compliance support?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Curious how the auditing services community reads this one:<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/insight-assurance/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/insight-assurance/reviews"><strong>Insight Assurance</strong></a> vs<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/johanson-group/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/johanson-group/reviews"><strong>Johanson Group</strong></a>, which one is better for SOC and compliance support?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">On paper they look alike. Both are CPA firms in the<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/auditing-services"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/auditing-services">auditing services</a> category. Both do SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI DSS. Both work with the big compliance automation platforms.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Where each pulls ahead, from what I can tell:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/insight-assurance/reviews"><strong>Insight Assurance</strong></a> has a wider menu. It goes up to FedRAMP, CMMC, and HITRUST, partners with eight-plus automation platforms, and promises flat-rate pricing with a 24/7 support team. The safer pick if your compliance list will keep growing.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/johanson-group/reviews"><strong>Johanson Group</strong></a> feels more personal. Every client gets a customer success team plus a dedicated auditor, final reports land in 4 to 6 weeks, and SOC 2+ reports fold HIPAA or PCI into one engagement. The better fit if speed and hand-holding matter most.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">So maybe the simplest way to decide is breadth vs attention. Which one actually holds up after you sign? And is there a third firm here that quietly beats both?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p>

The third firm worth adding here is Decrypt Compliance, specifically if speed is the primary driver and your environment is already clean. Johanson Group wins on hand-holding for first-timers. Insight Assurance wins on breadth as compliance requirements grow. Decrypt is the bet that automation compresses the timeline enough to justify fewer touchpoints.
