Recommendations to others considering TeXstudio:
Given the price (free), it's not expensive to try if you're looking to make some documents. Trying it out for yourself is the best way to know if it's good for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is TeXstudio solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I've mentioned, I make pretty big documents with a lot of sections and assets. TeXstudio lets me organize my work quickly and efficiently with things like "Define as explicit master" so I don't have to click the correct .tex file to compile; as long as I'm in the correct document, it's going to work. Having TeXstudio scan my files to detect labels and file names also saves a lot of time because I only have to open my master document, and I can stay in TeXstudio to open all of my other files.
