## TestFirst Reviews
  ### 1. Great and simple tool for test management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anuja S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2023

**What do you like best about TestFirst?**

- TestFirst is very easy to use compared to other tools available now.
- Annotation feature is an excellent feature, as we can annotate screenshots at the time of execution itself
-Exploratory Feature helps the tester to write test cases while running the test. It saves us a lot of time.
- Excellent test execution feature and reporting module.

TestFirst does a fine job ensuring the quality and reliability of the testing efforts.

**What do you dislike about TestFirst?**

I didn't face any issues using TestFirst, but it doesn't have Mac support and some of our applications require to be tested on MacOS, so it's a limitation.

**What problems is TestFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Jira-integrated TestFirst and link all our testing tasks with respective test cases. That helped to identify the areas lacking coverage because of the well-organized structure in TestFirst.

  ### 2. TestFirst End To End - Hands On Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priya S. | Quality Assurance Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about TestFirst?**

The response time was the best feature of the product. The UI as well as the Test Execution process was really fast and seamless.

I also loved the fact that it could be customized as per one's requirement. Very easy process for adding/modifying the system's fields.

**What do you dislike about TestFirst?**

I feel that one can incorporate buttons like edit, delete and duplicate on the view TC page as well. I know that these features are available by right-clicking the TC but having it on the view TC page will make it all the more workable.

**What problems is TestFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue I think TestFirst is solving is having a non-delayed test management environment. It is fast-paced as it promises and the UI is so simple to understand. One may not need even a tutorial to learn how it functions. They can self-explore and learn on their own.

**Official Response from Bugra Kara:**

> Hi Priya,

Appreciate for your feedback. We did queue up the "edit/delete/duplicate on View TC" features in our product pipeline.

  ### 3. Best test management tool for increased productivity, and it's free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajith D. | Software Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about TestFirst?**

TestFirst is a very easy-to-use, user-intuitive tool. I can create manual test cases and execute them on the go using the exploratory testing feature, very impressive. It's a feature-rich tool, yet UI looks simple and does not distract users with too much information. It has Jira integration support, and it's easy to create bugs with just one click, including all the necessary information.

**What do you dislike about TestFirst?**

Reports are not customizable and have only in-built basic reports; having different kinds of reports would be beneficial. Also, more intergration support with tools like Slack...

**What problems is TestFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating and executing test cases on the go using the exploratory testing feature while reporting bugs with all necessary information (screenshots, attachments, steps to reproduce) with just one click. Great exploratory testing tool and a regression testing tool for manual tests.

  ### 4. Highly customizable test management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2023

**What do you like best about TestFirst?**

We use TestFirst to validate the quality of our internal incident and complaint management system. It helps us ensure that our system is of high quality and our go-to-market is faster (which is what I'm most interested in as the Head of the Finance department that uses this system the most).

We generally found TestFirst to be a very flexible test management tool. It has the features to define and modify test case structures, export templates, and other elements according to our evolving project requirements. I can easily see the test case coverage from a managerial standpoint without having to drill down into technicalities.

**What do you dislike about TestFirst?**

The reporting features could be improved; having a variety of reports such as "test case reports with breakdown of custom fields" would help.

**What problems is TestFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestFirst matched our organization's specific needs and processes because of its extensive customization options. It helped us improve collaboration and achieve faster go-to-market.

  ### 5. Effective test management tool for manual testing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aravinda B. | Deputy General Manager Systems Architecture , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2023

**What do you like best about TestFirst?**

It's an all-inclusive test management tool that significantly improved the efficiency of the
testing efforts. TestFirst has been a great help in adequately managing the test cases and
scenarios on the application. The tool's capability to eliminate the repetitive typing of the
same steps using test case fragments is super helpful.
Also, the ability of TestFirst to export test cases as feature files and use them as input for our
automation is seamless. This process is super simple because of the in-built features of
TestFirst.

**What do you dislike about TestFirst?**

Sometimes the UI transition from one page to another looks glitchy

**What problems is TestFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Test management. TestFirst is simple and very user-friendly, and it doesn't take away
unnecessary time and effort to understand the tool, even for a new user. TestFirst improved
the testing process and performance since day 1

  ### 6. Great test management tool for collaborative teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monika G. | Project Manager Scrum Master, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2023

**What do you like best about TestFirst?**

TestFirst's work queue has been the most helpful feature for our collaborative team. Testers can initiate test execution directly from the homepage; moreover, TestFirst's simple UI and structure make it easy for users to navigate.
Also, the ability to create exploratory test sessions; and record results and test cases on the fly has helped testers to think beyond the limits of the scripted tests. TestFirst delivers an all-inclusive solution for test management and a streamlined process.

**What do you dislike about TestFirst?**

Need more manager-specific functionalities, such as monitoring team productivity, ongoing test plan progress etc. And I see those features are already in the product roadmap, so it's just a matter of time.

**What problems is TestFirst solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TestFirst has proven to be highly beneficial in optimising our daily QA process. Its ability to accelerate and organise our test data has made manual testing teamwork significantly more efficient.

3. Test execution module - The tool provides the user with an option to record the execution in the form of images or video which can be used for the Defects and also as evidence of execution when needed.
4. Annotation - We can Easily annotate the images during the execution.
5. Only required things - It has only the things we use 100% of the time. They have omitted some features that confuse the users.

Only thing is that this tool is not yet available for Mac users.
