What do you dislike about TestFirst?

I didn't face any issues using TestFirst, but it doesn't have Mac support and some of our applications require to be tested on MacOS, so it's a limitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TestFirst?

The response time was the best feature of the product. The UI as well as the Test Execution process was really fast and seamless.

I also loved the fact that it could be customized as per one's requirement. Very easy process for adding/modifying the system's fields. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestFirst?

I feel that one can incorporate buttons like edit, delete and duplicate on the view TC page as well. I know that these features are available by right-clicking the TC but having it on the view TC page will make it all the more workable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Bugra Kara of TestFirst

Hi Priya,

Appreciate for your feedback. We did queue up the "edit/delete/duplicate on View TC" features in our product pipeline.

"Best test management tool for increased productivity, and it's free"
5/5
What do you like best about TestFirst?

TestFirst is a very easy-to-use, user-intuitive tool. I can create manual test cases and execute them on the go using the exploratory testing feature, very impressive. It's a feature-rich tool, yet UI looks simple and does not distract users with too much information. It has Jira integration support, and it's easy to create bugs with just one click, including all the necessary information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestFirst?

Reports are not customizable and have only in-built basic reports; having different kinds of reports would be beneficial. Also, more integration support with tools like Slack... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly customizable test management tool"
5/5
What do you like best about TestFirst?

We use TestFirst to validate the quality of our internal incident and complaint management system. It helps us ensure that our system is of high quality and our go-to-market is faster (which is what I'm most interested in as the Head of the Finance department that uses this system the most).

We generally found TestFirst to be a very flexible test management tool. It has the features to define and modify test case structures, export templates, and other elements according to our evolving project requirements. I can easily see the test case coverage from a managerial standpoint without having to drill down into technicalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestFirst?

The reporting features could be improved; having a variety of reports such as "test case reports with breakdown of custom fields" would help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TestFirst?

It's an all-inclusive test management tool that significantly improved the efficiency of the testing efforts. TestFirst has been a great help in adequately managing the test cases and scenarios on the application. The tool's capability to eliminate the repetitive typing of the same steps using test case fragments is super helpful. Also, the ability of TestFirst to export test cases as feature files and use them as input for our automation is seamless. This process is super simple because of the in-built features of TestFirst. "Great test management tool for collaborative teams"
5/5
What do you like best about TestFirst?

TestFirst's work queue has been the most helpful feature for our collaborative team. Testers can initiate test execution directly from the homepage; moreover, TestFirst's simple UI and structure make it easy for users to navigate. Also, the ability to create exploratory test sessions; and record results and test cases on the fly has helped testers to think beyond the limits of the scripted tests. TestFirst delivers an all-inclusive solution for test management and a streamlined process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestFirst?

Need more manager-specific functionalities, such as monitoring team productivity, ongoing test plan progress etc. And I see those features are already in the product roadmap, so it's just a matter of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A must tool for Software testing management."
5/5
What do you like best about TestFirst?

1. Ease of use - After the login, all the flows are self explanatory. A user needs almost no time to get to using the application.

2. Exploratory testing feature - It makes the life of a tester very easy. It is always available for the tester on screen to be able to create a test case or a defect on the go.

3. Test execution module - The tool provides the user with an option to record the execution in the form of images or video which can be used for the Defects and also as evidence of execution when needed.

4. Annotation - We can Easily annotate the images during the execution.

5. Only required things - It has only the things we use 100% of the time. They have omitted some features that confuse the users.

6. Reports - Very useful feature. It gives a proper insight of the progress and they work seemlessly.

7. Test case fragments - Eliminates the redundency in the test cases.

8. Seemless integration with JIRA - We can automatically create defects directly from the app without opening JIRA.

And so many other awesome features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TestFirst?

Only thing is that this tool is not yet available for Mac users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
