The actual service provided is great for developer seeking to implement unique workflows with both message and voice. Additionally they have competitive pricing for the services they offer. What do you dislike about Telnyx CPaaS? So far the only area for improvement would be educating the user earlier on in the journey of learning the platform regarding 10DLC. This is only a minor point because once you realize that you need it, their support staff and documentation is very helpful. However, when first working with their platform, it was a bit difficult understanding why my messages were not being delivered. I would cut them some slack however, as the 10DLC requirements from major carries just went into effect 30 days ago and their support team is still very much on the ball about educating the user about this issue once it arises. There was a time that our account was blocked due to frequent sending of requests and had to wait for a long time and call internationally to get them to unblock it, but after the call it was pretty fast moving forward. While the platform is very capable, a dashboard or metrics of usage costs to manage at granular level would very helpful which is not yet there and we have to keep an eye out to manage our costs. This functionality ensures that personal phone numbers are never directly exposed during entry authorizations or package delivery notifications, adding a crucial layer of security and privacy for everyone involved. Furthermore, Telnyx's international SMS delivery service has been consistently dependable for our global communication requirements. The reach and reliability of their SMS platform are impressive, allowing us to efficiently send notifications and updates across borders without issue. The combination of these features – the seamless integration via their API, the effective number masking for enhanced privacy, and the reliable international SMS capabilities – makes Telnyx an invaluable CPaaS provider for our operations. While our overall experience with Telnyx CPaaS has been positive, one area that could be improved is the maintenance of their PHP SDK. We've noticed that it doesn't always seem to be kept fully up-to-date. For example, the most recent commit at the time of writing introduced a change that incorrectly set the baseApiUrl to localhost for testing purposes. This oversight wasn't removed before the commit was finalized, which means that anyone integrating the SDK currently needs to manually override this setting in their code to ensure proper functionality. While this hasn't been a critical blocker for us, it does introduce an unnecessary extra step in the integration process and suggests that the PHP SDK might not be receiving the same level of consistent attention as other aspects of their platform.
