"Excellent sales tax solution"

What do you like best about TaxJar?

TaxJar saves me literally 20 or more hours per month, and takes away all the headaches and hassles associated with tracking sales tax in multiple states (we have nexus in 27 states) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TaxJar?

I honestly can't name any downsides. Avalara is the more commonly used system, but having used both extensively, I believe TaxJar is the better solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TaxJar solving and how is that benefiting you?

TaxJar syncs with all e-commerce sales platforms and your accounting system, and provides state-by-state sales tax reports according to your filing frequencies. It keeps track of what is due when, and for an additional fee it can even do the filings for you. Furthermore, it keeps up with any changes states make to sales tax (down to a county & city level), which are regular. If I were to manually prepare these reports it would take me over 20 hours per month, and there would be plenty of opportunity for human error, which TaxJar removes.
