Taxfiler Reviews & Product Details

I used Taxfiler for all of my self assessment clients as it was a comprehensive solution to preparing the Tax Return forms. You could input just the data you needed and could be entered by each section or by opening a copy of the tax return and clicking on the box you wanted to poulate. It was easily integrated it into my practice it saved me time and effort as it was so easy to implement. Never had to contact Customer Support as it was so easy to use and up to date with current HMRC guidelines. I used it for all of my Self Assesment clients so was busy in April, January and some months in between. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

IRIS took over and made it obsolete. IRIS offered a free transfer but duplicated all of my clients and wasn't as comprhensive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Love it. Perfect software for small accounting practices, very good integrations with cloud bookkeeping software.

The accounts prep formats won't suit larger businesses, or charities needing customisation, but for micro businesses (FRS 105 and 102 1A) it's perfectly suitable.

The tax return side of things is wonderfully easy to use, and covers SA100 & 800 and CT600 returns.

It depends on needs, but as mentioned above the accounts prep software is slightly rigid, so not suitable for any businesses requiring customisation of ledger accounts etc on the face of the P&L Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
