It is easy to use and is a great alternative for Publisher for Mac users. **What do you dislike about Swift Publisher?** Swift Publisher is only available for Mac users. **What problems is Swift Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?** Swift Publsiher makes it easy for me to create designs and layouts such as brochures, flyers, business cards for print. It was particularly useful when i had a problem with publisher and it served me just as good saving me time. ### 3. Quite easy to setup & use. Familiar interface. This is NOT inDesign, but I am able to meet the client's needs without spending time and money . . . **What do you dislike about Swift Publisher?** I am struggling a little to work with the gutter bleed that inDesign does, but I can work around that. **What problems is Swift Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?** Perfect price and easy to learn ### 4. Otherwise **What problems is Swift Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?** Swift lets me see my page layouts in a way that is very user friendly and easy to modify designs and layouts. ### 5. Best alternative for microsoft publisher on mac **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021 **What do you like best about Swift Publisher?** For years I used microsoft publisher and found it to be the best, user friendly tool for creating documents outside of high end programs that are outside the scope of simple projects I create. Once I switched to mac, my biggest frustration was publisher not being available, and pages isn't comparable on any level. After searching through multiple options I found Swift Publisher and it was the closest thing to publisher out there. Very intuitive and useful to create documents when you are wanting more options than the limitations found in Word. **What do you dislike about Swift Publisher?** The only dislike is that because it's a smaller company and program it isn't compatible for most people I might share documents with. I can easily save as a pdf and pass it on, but unless another person also has Swift, they won't be able to work with the document themselves. **What problems is Swift Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm able to make great looking documents in an open space without the confinements involved with using Microsoft Word. I don't have the need for the larger Adobe Suite products nor the time to learn them, so Swift is the perfect creating solution. ### 6. With the huge amount of (500 +) templates, you will always have a good place to start. Very handy when you have a non creative moment. **What do you dislike about Swift Publisher?** There is not much to dislike. It might take some time to get to know where all features are located within the application.
This is the case with any (new) software obviously. **Recommendations to others considering Swift Publisher:** Download the trial version from the Swift Publisher website and play around with the software. Then you will likely come to the conclusion that is indeed a steal and you will proceed and purchase. 
Then I recommend getting the “Extra Pack” which will extend the already generous Clipart collection with 40K images and 100 additional fonts! **What problems is Swift Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?** Swift Publisher is capable alternative for the more expensive desktop publishing applications out there. So far we haven't found anything we couldn't do. We reduced cost. ### 7. At the price tag, it's definitely worth it and its very intuitive. **What do you dislike about Swift Publisher?** It falls shorts on some aspects. But then again, if you really need pro features, then you probably know how to use other publisher programs. **Recommendations to others considering Swift Publisher:** Depends on what you need. But if you are looking for an easy to use, entry level product, you may have found the one! You could use many other products to design what you could design with Swift Publisher, but I doubt you'll do it in less time. The templates that Swift provides are extremely useful and help a lot when it comes to lean / start-up development. I would really recommend it to anyone! **What problems is Swift Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are doing all the design ourselves thanks to this software. Sure, its not the same as hiring a designer, but it works pretty well. As a start-up we want to be able to design fast and (if possible) in house. This software is perfect for that because of the templates. ### 10. The variety is very good for the price of the software. I love that I can make a professional looking piece of marketing (brochure, flyer, newsletter, etc.) in no time at all. **What do you dislike about Swift Publisher?** It took a bit to learn how to use it but nothing major if you have used this type of thing before. **Recommendations to others considering Swift Publisher:** If you need more options for templates than the boring MS Word templates and especially if you are using a Mac, then I recommend this product. **What problems is Swift Publisher solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have created newsletters, brochures and flyers in a smaller amount of time by using their templates. ### 11. It's got a lot of useful tools that are perfect for creating and importing graphics to fit what you are writing and what you want to publish. **What do you dislike about Swift Publisher?** Only works on Mac and Apple products. If I want to switch over to a Windows computer, I can't use this software. I have to import my work from the Windows product to this software. **Recommendations to others considering Swift Publisher:** If you don't have a Mac, don't waste your time.
