# Which bot platforms work well for ecommerce websites that need to handle product questions, cart recovery and order tracking automatically?

Putting together a roundup on bot platforms for online stores, so I dug into what ecommerce and retail reviewers actually say about handling product questions, cart recovery, and order tracking on autopilot. If you just want the short version, Rep AI, Verloop.io, and Haptik came up the most across those reviews, but here's the fuller list I looked at.

Rep AI plugs into Shopify and acts as a shopping concierge that answers product questions and guides shoppers, and retailers say it sells around the clock so they aren't staffing support 24/7.

Verloop.io runs conversational support across web, WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, with reviewers pointing to high deflection on product and delivery questions and live agents who can pick up any chat.

Haptik leans into conversational commerce, with WhatsApp order tracking, returns and delay notifications, plus a flow builder for order and support journeys.

Gallabox is WhatsApp and Instagram commerce, handling customer queries at the same time and capturing leads, with Shopify and WooCommerce connections.

yellow.ai covers transactional WhatsApp messaging and FAQ automation with reviewers citing high deflection, though a couple mention the bot getting messy once you pile on features.

For anyone running a store on Shopify or WooCommerce, did the cart recovery flows actually recover carts or mostly annoy people? And if you've used Rep AI or Haptik, how much of your product-question volume did they genuinely handle before a human had to step in?

Looked at Rep AI, Verloop, Haptik, Gallabox, and yellow.ai when we were shopping around. Ended up on Rep AI just because the Shopify setup was the fastest. The others are solid but felt like they were built for bigger teams.
