I recently had the opportunity to use Swapcard, and I must say it is a game-changer when it comes to event networking and engagement. Swapcard provides a comprehensive platform that seamlessly connects event organizers, exhibitors, and attendees, creating a virtual environment that fosters meaningful interactions and enhances the overall event experience.

Swapcard is creating another type of offering to other companies where they can be part of events away from their origin via online and also generate valuable leads for their benefit.

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

Swapcard has many options for setting up content and sessions, with control over how your audience consumes your content. The studio interface is easy to navigate and use.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

With all the options available on the backend, it can be a bit intimidating when first using the platform. I also wish the Sessions view would remember my preference for how many sessions are shown per page.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swapcard provides several options for delivering content to a virtual audience, all within the same platform. This saves time and effort when working with digital content.

The networking opportunities are great, the agenda looks neat and I like how Swapcard often  has updates and relises new products.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

I don't really like the support team, they are not the most efficient in my opinion.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swapcard works great for the networking side of the event and the event app is great for our events in terms of looking at the agenda, scheduling meetings.

Swapcard addresses all of th needs of my event and team while being managabe and efficient to build and use.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

It is a little basic, and in some cases, not as customizable as we'd like.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Matchmaking. The AI based on user function rather than the arduous task of users being required to complete keyword surveys, has really treamlined the experience.

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

The UI is very friendly and straightforward.  It provides me with the features I am looking for as an event organizer. And we got good feedback from the attendees.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

For the business matching features, if we can set up the expiration date for each meeting, it will be much more effective. If the delegate does not respond to the meeting requested by the other side, the session will still be taken till the last minute.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it is solving the problem of 1-1 business matching. It helps the delegates fully utilize their time at the event. We can upsell the events when integrating the app.

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

The widgets for displaying content on another website.  While this feature doesn't impact the app's use, it provides a way to keep your event's look, feel, and content cohesive across platforms.  We attempted to use another system's embed option and quickly pivoted to Swapcard to deliver this functionality - even when we didn't utilize the app for the overall event.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

Some functionality could be more intuitive, especially regarding the user experience.  It was unclear what features would and wouldn't be available when a user has been added to more than one group.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swapcard provides a platform that provides multiple ways to get information into our attendee's hands - app, website, and the embed widgets.  The platform allows our team to update the information quickly and easily.

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

Users can navigate public content quickly; we can build the experience by tailoring it to the event activities and schedule. In our case, we have a massive and complex program, and we can map it to swapcard in a way its easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

The onboarding experience for users could be better; having single sign-on with google auth improves it, but you need to build it outside and hook it up via saml. Also, the back office gets a bit slow, and you need a lot of clicks to edit sessions when the number goes over 100. Adoption of the app for in-person users requires a lot of communication, is not something that naturally happens by going to the event site.

Swapcard platform helps events organize content and activities in a single place for attendees to have a good experience. Overall, once you learn the tricks of the platform, you can customize it a lot.

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

Swapcard's team is excellent! We had Robert as our sales rep and Deborah as our lead and they were easy to work with! We have used them for 2 years and will continue to use them for our events. The swapcard product is user friendly as our attendees and exhibitors were able to navigate easily.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

They use a 3rd party for gamification and we had issues with the set-up and functionality. Ultimately we made it work, however we do not plan to use this feature in the future.

We need a mobile app and a virtual platform for our conference with access for attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff. The product is intuitive and the team support has been reliable and quick to assist!

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

I am starting the use of Swapcard as an organizer and when triggering the support to answer some questions was promptly attended by the support team with speed and dedication.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

Each time I asked a question (in the same tícket) a new consultant performed my service which resulted in having to explain several times my problem and have several interpretations on the same subject. My suggestion is that the same attendant is responsible for the answers of the same tícket because it is almost impossible in just one email to receive the resolution of a problem. Another important item is that I am Brazilian and did not have any material / tutorial or attendant in Portuguese (Brazil)

Swapcard is helping the company I work on to engage visitors and exhibitors at our events year-round through custom platforms.This is being very important for our business, especially post-pandemic and to develop new products

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

The client service is very good. They are following up closely and are very friendly. You always have the same contact points which is great. 
The back end is very intuitive and it's quick and easy to create new platforms for different events. 
Also, from a participant's point of view, it is very user-friendly. 
I have tested and reviewed a lot of digital platforms and this one is the most complete.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

The fact that you are obliged to buy a package of at least 500 licenses (basically 500 participants) is a pity because sometimes we need less for smaller events.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They answered very well the need for digital platform in the covid time. But they are good for matchmaking and B2B networking onsite. 
They also just launched their integrated registration system, which is the only thing that they were missing to become really complete.

Swapcard provides many ways to share information for an event using virtual links. It also provides a platform to share info while reducing our carbon footprint.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

Some aspects of SwapCard take a bit to learn & be familiar enough to use easily. They continue to provide training updates so it does get easier.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Virtual presentations for our online presence for exhibits and event programming. An efficient way for our exhibitors to collect leads from on-site interactions as well as visits to their "virtual" booth spaces.

Attendee experience is clean and relatively easy to use as long as the event organizer sets the event up in a way that reduces "noise".

The addition of attendees without using the registration element. The "Chat" and "Questions" features are challenging to use, and Questions will cross-post, so it's not helpful.

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

Swapcard's free version can facilitate atleast 200 attendees, while most other event platforms only have a free version to support 50-100 attendees. This worked perfectly for our event. Swapcard can also be used for in-person and virtual events, which was awesome since we had an in-person event but wanted resources and networking abilities virtually. The support team always responded very quickly. This surpassed my expectations, especially for a free version of the platfom.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

It was not as simple as I hoped to share documents, but there were a number of workarounds that the support team provided, which did meet our needs. I would love to see a "documents" option for the content display buttons.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Swapcard helped us come up with virtual solutions for an in-person event. We did not want to print out materials, so we posted them to Swapcard. We also wanted our guests to be able to connect with each other before and after the event, which Swapcard helps with through discussion boards and messaging features.

The platform is very interactive to set up the event. However, since I am not an expert, I don't always know how to set the settings correctly. But the support team has been excellent and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

Swapcard has a set format for the things that need to be included. There could be more flexibility to the settings. Nevertheless, everything works great, there is no issue.

It is solving how to make our series of events hybrid. The widget to see the platforms need specific details to be added to other websites, swapcard helps have it all in the same place.

The organizer interface is very simple to navigate.  Though the best bit about swapcard has to be their openness to collaboration. If you need to work through a problem or potential idea, it's like having an extra team member.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

The out the box registration connections are simple and fast - BUT, unless you use their API thre is a lot of manual tagging and data processing within the platform. Often downloading and reuploading data to get it right.

1 app for multiple events, that we can build familiarity with our audience on. They download it once, and then we can keep using it all year.

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

Easy to use from both the back-end admin side and also front end for our site visitors. Whenever we use Swapcard we have very positive feedback regarding site understanding and navigation.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

This time round, we found it difficult that we weren't able to input individual availability for our 16 speakers. There was no simple way of doing this without either creating different groups for each individual speaker and editing slot availability that way OR by our Swapcard rep inputting this for us on her version of the back-end as she had more functions than us.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By having such a user friendly site and an on-hand rep should anything go wrong. When running a hybrid event on Swapcard this proves very helpful should any issues crop up.

The most useful feature for us is the ability for attendees to arrange meetings in advance.

It can be a little tricky to get your head around the setup to begin with.  It could do with a setup wizard that takes care of the essential steps.

It combines several contact measures, such as attendee lists, event agenda, etc.

Very user-friendly, complete platform, easy to use as an organiser and participant. Swapcard's customer support is on point, everything was positive. Can't wait to test the registration!

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

Not much; the platform is pretty much what I expect a platform to be. The "package solution" may be the only "negative" point because we do not know how many events we will have in the year, and we might not be able to use all our credits. Otherwise, everything is perfect.

The mobile app is complete; exhibitors complete their booth efficiently; implementing a registration tool; we can rebrand the whole website; easy to translate from one language to another; customer service replies quickly on any request.

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

Help with gathering participants' information, offering a great experience in sharing the details of the program, or creating a complete profile for our exhibitors. It's efficient and the lead retrieval option is great! For our partners, the lead retrieval was a big WIN. It allows them to target the people that are really interested in their company and products, versus having a list of hundreds of names that will waste their time.

Having to resize certain logos because of the specs of the different visuals in the app. But I guess, it also depends on the company's logo style and shape. So not entirely the fault of the app :)

It is all in one place! It allows our participants to interact and have all information under their thumb, and for our exhibitors to have a 'window' where to expose content/contact/links..etc.

We have used Swapcard for virtual conferences and finally for in-person events after the pandemic. It is very easy to set up, the support is very helpful and feedback from our attendees/clients is very positive. The significant advantage is our meeting scheduling as our events are networking focussed. Attendees love to know who they can meet and plan ahead by scheduling meetings in advance. Everything is fully customizable and there are so many great features and tools to improve the event experience.

If anything, competitors might look a bit fresher and sexier but generally there are no major things that I dislike about Swapcard. They have just launched the registration feature which I will try out asap.

As mentioned above, the meeting scheduling is the biggest advantage for us. In the past we arranged meetings for our clients manually which was very time consuming. The app also helps to digitalze things and we print less (aiming for environmental friendly events).

Working one-on-one with our customer-support rep helps mitigate any concerns or speed bumps that come up, and they are very responsive outside our scheduled time. The platform itself is very easy to use as an organizer and attendee, and provides many different features that take the event to a whole different level than providing basic webinar-like events. The networking features and advertising features really elevate the attendee and exhibitor experience and overall we have very good feedback from both groups about Swapcard as a whole.

We would prefer more aggregated data in the reporting feature of the analytics for more detailed reporting, and a few small functions within the event studio that could be added for convenience, but other than that we give the platform top ratings all around.

Swapcard is amazingly intuitive.   In my experience, I have noticed far fewer help desk hits on "how to log on" or "how to do this ___" as it is evident how you have to proceed.  This is powerful as we move into the next generation of event planning and execution in a hybrid world.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

Some features are either very limited or not fully developed.  My biggest bone to pick with Swapcard at the moment is the roundtable feature.  This feature's purpose is to have a built-in video conferencing platform with several of what I call "if and's and buts" when working with the program.  Going to my first point, I hope in 2022  there will be further expansion of the admin permission settings within a swapcard event.  Especially with larger events where many hands are working on one event it would be great to limit access further to certain sections of an event, mainly because there is no auditing system within Swapcard.

**Recommendations to others considering Swapcard:**

Swapcard is a solid answer if you want to focus on networking and engagement for your audience.  Hands down.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think Swapcard's mobile app is robust enough to be sold as an event app for hybrid events.  Since I do not need to take a lot of time building out the event app on top of the website (which is not a guarantee with many platforms), I can spend more time polishing the event itself than doing the same work twice.

When the pandemic first started, we sat through endless demos of virtual event platforms, and it felt like each one was exactly the same. And then we had our Swapcard demo. Swapcard was able to cater our needs of replicating an awards ceremony in a virtual world. Swapcard also helped us put on our annual women's conference and allowed for easy usability for attendees of all ages.

The biggest downside of Swapcard is it took them a while to integrate a built-in live stream component - where speakers could just log in and automatically host their session. They created the Roundtable feature but now they're working on making it even better with a native live stream capability.

Swapcard's has had incredible support. Whenever I have a question, they quickly respond within minutes, clearly explain what to do, and set me up for success. I will definitely be using them for events to come. The platform is also fairly user intuitive and simple to setup.

If you have an event under 250 people it is hard to do a demo with the team, but I assume that is due to having a free version. Don't have anything I really dislike.

We have used Swapcard for 3 years now, and there are continual improvements being made to the platform. As an organizer, it is very user friendly. You do not need to be tech-savvy to create or manage events. We have always received very positive feedback from users.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

Our events are 2 weeks long, but the agenda tab on the platform always shows the full agenda. It would be helpful if that jumped to the current day, or next session. There is some functionality to host interactive sessions on the platform, but they are currently limited to 100 people, so we still utilize Zoom in conjunction with Swapcard. There is not a robust chat function where threads can be nested, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Swapcard:**

For event registration, Swapcard works with Avolio, which I would recommend considering.

There are always improvements being made to the platform, so they are continuously upgrading in that sense. For example, the roundtable feature (which is the most interactive option on the site) was not available when we first started using the platform.

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

Very easy to set up for event organisers. They include small instructions on every function where it is well explained with a really easy-to-see user interface. Many positive feedback from participants due to the functionality swapcard provide and again a modern look on the app makes it easy to the eye of participants. Easy to use for participants if the event is set up well by organizers, lots of engagements as well. All data's that was hard to collect is now displayed and downloadable by event organisers to improve the next event set up and give good insights to sponsors.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

There is no call center or call line. All communication is done by email or support submission form which consumes a lot of time especially if we have urgent requests. Nevertheless, they are super responsive, although the process to solve issues could reduce from 15 minutes to 5 minutes via a simple call.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data collection of exhibitors with concise and easy solutions for lead retieval. Having all session programmes on the mobile App version where participants can bookmark and customise their own event programme makes it easy for them to follow the congress on their own interest. Since the programme in the mobile app is easily accessible, having a printed version is no longer necessary reducing our event's carbon footprint (more sustainable events)

The platform is well thought and easy to set-up for basic features

The structure is the same for every event (customisation is somehow limited)
No advanced features for programme management (e.g. double booking of a speaker already attached to a session, double booking of a room, etc.)

All-in-one place system (attendees, speakers, schedule, interactions, on-demand content, etc.)

when you have different pages with many rows for the age and you want to modify line by line, when you edit, it brings you back to the first page.

There is a sense of urgency whenever I have an issue. It's been helpful on many occasions.

Sometimes the interface is confusing. Saving can take a  little too long and triggering it can be awkward.

Swapcard is making event app management much more simple which means that planners can also work with the app which speeds up  turnaround times for changes.

**What do you like best about Swapcard?**

It is easy to use, yet able to customize according to the needs and branding of the virtual event.

**What do you dislike about Swapcard?**

The only downside is probably the fact that we are not able to customize some minute details, but overall, those minute details that weren't customizable did not affect the overall function of the virtual platform. For example, all virtual events on Swapcard platform will look genetically the same except for the colors, background image, etc as the layout is fixed.

**What problems is Swapcard solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Swapcard, we are able to reach out to overseas exhibitors and delegates who are unable to fly into Singapore to attend the event physically. It has helped our exhibitors to reach a wider audience, especially during this season of the pandemic.
