I find SuccessFinder to be the most comprehensive, in-depth behavioral assessment tool on the market. It goes beyond surface-level information and dives deep into layers of competencies and behavioral preferences, really supporting individuals to become self-aware and work on growth. It helps set a clear foundation and starting point to align my coachees, mapping out competencies and serving as a great tool to return to each coaching session as an anchor point. It charts the person's low and high behavioral preferences and maps out competencies aligned with different levels of roles, bringing awareness to blind spots in how people show up.

**What do you like best about SuccessFinder?**

As an admin of SF, the training provided by the SF team was complete and easy to go through. It gave me all the tools to be able to analyze the reports created by the psychometric assessment of each employee. The training also provided ways to communicate the results to the employees and their manager to maximize the comprehension of the results in a personalize way. The SuccessFinder report is now used  as part of our growth plan for each employee and we love to implement workshop amongst team to ensure they work together in the best way possible. 
SF customer support is quick to respond and we've had no difficulty getting the help we needed when needed.

**What do you dislike about SuccessFinder?**

I think from an admin's perspective the admin's plateform is a little simple, sometimes too simple, in that sense that I sometimes have a hard time understanding who see's what when they log in. Example if I want a project to be confidential and accessible only to myself and one other admin, the plateform is lacking clarity in that sense.

**What problems is SuccessFinder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us get to know the natural behaviors of our employees in a detailed level but also in a uniform vocabulary for everyone. We can then understand better their struggles and adapt our ways or acting and reacting with them. We are happy to be able to provide to each team a workshop where they can discuss their own strenghts and limits so they can work better together.

**What do you like best about SuccessFinder?**

SuccessFinder is an excellent tool for providing personalized insights. It has helped the individuals and organizations I have worked with, as well as myself, maximize potential and understand core strengths and growth areas. Its user-friendly interface and customizable, comprehensive evaluations make it an invaluable and easy-to-use tool that can be implemented for everything from career development to enhancing team dynamics. As a highly analytical person, I appreciate that it is grounded in robust, evidence-based methodologies.

**What do you dislike about SuccessFinder?**

There isn’t much I dislike about SuccessFinder; however, I wish for more quality-of-life updates for the website. The search feature could be more comprehensive, there could be more short cuts to click between projects, individuals, reports, etc.  It would also help if you could open reports more easily into different windows or tabs with one click, and/or have different methods to view the data in an individuals profile that could be customizable and presetable.  More interface/website development and tweaks would help users make the tool more of their own and save time however it is already a great and easy tool to use.

**What do you like best about SuccessFinder?**

It helps me as a leader to not only develop as a manager and indidividual, but more importantly to best understand what makes each of the members on my team unique. Through understanding their behavioral baseline, I was able to quickly get to know each of the members on my team, and build a strong trusting connection with them. Their unique superpowers are now being leveraged as often as possible and they definitely feel more valued and their contribution and performance are a testimony of that.

It's nothing that I dislike, but rather an important recommendation to any leader rolling out such an initiative on their team: Communicating the why SuccessFinder is being implemented in a team, to ensure the true objectives are laid out upfront rather than creating an unwanted reaction by some members on the team that could potentially and quickly become detractors.

SuccessFinder insight reports provide such valuable information on an individual, it's fascinating.  The fact the reports and insights can be use for so much more than recruitment assessment, it is a great tool to have at our disposal.  We are in the early stages of implementing it with our organization and so far it is well received.

**What do you dislike about SuccessFinder?**

Navigating to the learning platform separately from the user platform isn't intuitive at first.  Having all the resources within the user platform would seem more efficient.  When I click the "?" button I'm expecting support material on SuccessFinder rather than how to navigate the page.  I'll get use to it.

**What problems is SuccessFinder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been using SuccessFinder just over 6 months, and brought the tool in to make sure we had the right people in the right role at the leadership level.  Now we are starting to implement it as part of leadership recruitment efforts.

The benchmarking area is of great help. Looking at the recommended job and what competencies are connected, it is easy to understand which job I am qualified for. Also, descriptions of areas I avoid or do not care about, show that they are well connected to what has been stressful in work related to that competency.

**What do you dislike about SuccessFinder?**

It's inconvenient for me to have different terms in Expert Reports and Business Level Reports.
Rather than expressing the ladder of leadership as a position, it would be better to define the names of the areas they manage. This is because even though they are high-ranking executives, they sometimes deal with the content of the job in depth rather than managing people.

**What problems is SuccessFinder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In coaching, if a client applies their preferences based on SF data when setting an action plan, the plan is very effective when implemented.
When a client is in charge of a project as a team leader, it can be delegated by matching their preferred competencies when deciding which stages of the project they are in charge of and which stages others are in charge of.
It can be a criterion for clients to decide between promotion and performance pay when they achieve great results in their work. This is because the promotion itself may relate their traits to not help in terms of the ladder of leadership.

Nothing the tool works as required.  The training with the SuccessFinder team allows to obtain certification and to be autonomous and agile with the use of the tool.

**What do you like best about SuccessFinder?**

We have been using Sucessfinder for few years to manage our psychometric assesments. I can trully say it is one of the strongest psychometric tool I have ever used. It's accuracy to understand people's natural behavioral preferences is remarkable. As it is an A/B test, we can have strong insights about the people we decide to assess.
 
We mainly use Successfinder for these four purposes:
1.	Hiring: The test allows us to have a more objective understanding of the candidates during the interview and to validate the fit not only with the company, but also with the position and the team.
2.	People development: It helps us to aim the development targets for employees and adjust individual development plans. Furthermore, we use the test during our inhouse coaching. With the insights that the test brings, our understanding of the coached person is better and our coachings are more adapted.
3.	Career exploration: We are striving to make this report available to all our employees to help them better understand their strengths, vocational incentives, lifestyle priorities and their top job family matches.
4.	Team building: We also have used the Successfinder assessment a few times to analyze team portraits. This allowed us to better understand the strengths of each member of the teams but also the complementarity between the members, therefore guiding our intervention with the team.

**What do you dislike about SuccessFinder?**

There is nothing I dislike from this product. The richness of the information received from this test requires a well-trained person to interpret it properly. If you don't have someone with those skills in your organization, plenty of consultants will do it for you.

**What problems is SuccessFinder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping find the right fit between the job position and the candidate. Helps for onboarding, development and career evolution. Successfinder team is always there to help us by answering quickly to our questions and giving us some tips.

  ### 15. The most actionnable psychometric test out there

**What do you like best about SuccessFinder?**

Our executive team was initially skeptical about the efficacy of Psychometric Tests. 

We have used other vendors in the past and the traditional tests usually put people in defined boxes (or colors like personality tests).

While some of the characteristics and traits of those defined box did fit with the profiles of our employees, most of our teammates felt the results were too black and white to be accurate. In consequence, they would not believe that the results truly reflected their whole personality and they would immediately distrust the usefulness of the results.

Successfinder's analysis proved to be much different. 

By focusing on preferences of behaviors and regrouping these into a broad array of competencies, it was much easier to appreciate the nuances of each individual in their reports. The broader view allowed for teammates to concede that the Successfinder tests were significantly more accurate than previous tests we ran. In return, they became more open to coaching based on the predictive insights brought up by the data.

We initially opened to test to all our job candidates and the management team, but the reports were so insightful that we decided to open testing across the board a few weeks ago. And results are already starting to be noticed : some employees are considering moving into new roles and we are thinking about shifting the composition of certain teams.

I could not have hoped for a faster contribution to our internal decision-making process.

**What do you dislike about SuccessFinder?**

The science behind their product is amazing, but the design of the app feels out of date. 

It was a bit of a hard sell to my executive team at the beginning because Successfinder does not leave a good first impression when looking at the current platform (June 2022). Especially when compared to other players out there.

Nevertheless, when my partners saw the predictive insights we got from the test reports, we agreed to concede on the design part and focus on the content.

They would however gain a lot of traction and ease the "internal selling" job of their leads by significantly improving their design system.

The onboarding is also very sales-led. It's "hard" to buy more from them. You have to go through a sales/onboarding rep each time you'd like an upgrade or purchase a new training. Finally, documentation for self-help is scarce.

They should invest more in self-onboarding/support capabilities. 

Trusting the savviness of their users would likely prove to be facilitating for their users and I predict that it would result in greater sales velocity.

**What problems is SuccessFinder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Succesfinder is helping us fix two main problems.

The first concern we had was when hiring. We used to be a team of 8 with few managers. We hired for personality fit and direct job skills. It was relatively easy to do a good job because our "team profile" was easy to grasp due to the low number of people. By and large, gut feeling was the best predictor of success. 

As we doubled, tripled and quintupled in size, intricacies in our culture grew and the number of subcultures exploded among the different departments. In the same fashion, new layers of management were created and these people did not necessarily have the chance to learn the skills of hiring "well" as per our gut feeling strategy.

We realized that what had brought us here would not bring us to the next level and that we needed a new tool to systematize our decisions and improve our chances of success.

Successfinder proved to be exactly what we needed for this.

The second concern was the career path of our existing staff. 

We are still and the early innings of a real employee development strategy at Agendrix. Successfinder's insights with roles help us guide our employees by allowing them to consult factual data about their behavioral preferences and current competencies. 

They then become more open (read "coachable") and it becomes slightly easier for them to make the right decisions about their future.

It's a win-win.

**What do you like best about SuccessFinder?**

There is so much to like about SuccessFinder…where can I start?! First thing first, this is an amazing psychometric assessment system. As an industrial psychologist, I had the opportunity to use many assessment tools, and as far as I know, this is the most comprehensive and solid assessment on the market. 
It is powerful as much in its descriptive capabilities as in its predictive ones. Hundreds of data points, millions of unique profiles, a large library of benchmarks, research-backed leadership levels - this is a huge amount of information in one single assessment, that will require only about 30 minutes to complete. 
SuccessFinder provides information that can be applied to a large variety of talent management applications. I used it for selection, promotion, succession management, leadership development, team effectiveness and conflict mediation.
The accessibility and usability of the platform are easy and efficient. And I am really pleased to see that they are constantly investing in the development and improvement of the online platform.

**What do you dislike about SuccessFinder?**

There is nothing I dislike at the moment. I started to use the SuccessFinder assessment system eight years ago and at the time the online system and the outputs needed much improvement. The current solution is miles better than it used to be and has so much more options and flexibility. I know they have a road map for product improvement/development, which adds to my confidence in the tool.

**What problems is SuccessFinder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SuccessFinder brings rigor and science to so many talent management applications and initiatives. Selecting the right leaders or employees, predicting performance in a certain role, identifying high potential leaders, and improving the chemistry in a team are complex questions with so many “soft” issues; adding a powerful psychometric assessment such as SuccessFinder brings data and objectivity in these important questions.

The rationality and fact-based approach to what has historically been more of an experienced-based and subjective decisions domain. No other tools on the market can predict career success with equal accuracy and reliability.

**What do you dislike about SuccessFinder?**

Because it is a complex tool, for assessing a complex subject (the human being), SF requires a lot of guidance, explanation and interpretation from the practitioner. This is not a self-evident tool, and a lot will be lost in the process if respondents or clients are left by themselves to consult the automated reports and/or conclusions.

**What problems is SuccessFinder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SF is my key competitive advantage as an independent consultant in the very cluttered market of HR services. When I explain what the assessment can do to a decision-making level executive (e.g. HR director or CEO), or even better, sample it to them, they are so convinced by the accuracy and potency of the results, as well as its sheer versatility, that I get a contract 4 out of 5 times.

Insightful assessments with descriptive explanations. I really enjoy the online toolbox (easy to sort, focus on certain areas etc.) and the Coaching tips sections.

The Role Fit is a little generic and we would have liked to see roles like Management consultants, roles in analytics. 
I would have liked an option to be able to easily select and print portions of data from the toolbox.

We are using SuccessFinder to provide staff with an opportunity to "know themselves better" and update their development plan accordingly.  SuccessFinder provides actionable insights useful in that talent development context.  Also, we are finding their client success team does care about our success.

**What do you dislike about SuccessFinder?**

To understand the full report, one requires some training.  At first, it was a daunting task, given the richness of the information received.  However, we find SuccessFinder very supportive in getting us ramped up.

SuccessFinder goes much deeper than typical assessments, offering each individual a tremendous amount of insight into their unique strengths and blindspots. The assessment is highly reliable and valid from a statistical standpoint, and actively mitigates bias. As such, it's a powerful tool that enables targeted development for each individual, while also supporting DE&I efforts.

A few competency labels can be misleading to the user without a detailed explanation, such as Inspiring Others. Other than that, nothing else to mention!

I like the competency report, very easy to understand and matches your job profile and company values. It is easy to use (interface is user-friendly) and candidate are usually very surprised are accurate the results are.

Depending on the type of certification you are looking for, there is a learning curve to become good at providing feedback (the practice is essential). But this would be true with any test.

It is very good tool in the selection process, giving you more info on the candidate you are hiring and how you can support this person. It is also a good tool to use with teams, making sure key competencies are present and how to focus on the areas of development.

The self awareness that is generated by the SF report is amazing. The training they provide allows to really get the most out of personality  differences.

The negative element is it's not matic. You got to commit to the tool for it to be useful. But that's true of any tool.
