**What do you like best about Stedi?**

- From a developer standpoint, Stedi is the best experience I've had by far when it comes to support, documentation, and ease of integration.
- I've used Stedi every day for the past year, and it has been super easy to pick up and implement into many systems.
- Stedi comes with tons of helpful features like mappings, functions, stash, and event destinations which make setting up a data pipeline incredibly easy.
- Fantastic customer support from day one. The Stedi team has devoted a ton of time to help with our integration projects and they have a very knowledgable and talented core team.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

- I cannot think of a single thing I dislike about Stedi. Every minor issue that has come up, they are quick to help and implement a fix.

- Mapping EDI to JSON and vice versa
- Sending data to APIs and SFTP/AS2 connections
- Housing persistent data in Stash

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

It takes the complexity of EDI and simplifies it. The complexity of EDI can bother newcomers such as myself. I stepped into a world of pain without knowing what I was up against. Not only would I have had to orchestrate interpreting EDI in whatever programming language I was using, I'd have to then figure out how to how to handle dispatching and managing responses.

None of that was required. Literally within minutes I could receive an 856 and trigger a JavaScript function that sent the translated EDI wherever I wanted. Truly remarkable.

EDI sucks. Stedi makes it suck *way* less.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

If I had to draw out a negative about Stedi I'd say that there are elements of the UI that could improve. The good news is that their team is constantly improving the UX and whatever rough patches you experience are likely to get resolved.

**What problems is Stedi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Translating EDI and sending to to REST services across our partners and internal infrastructure.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

Stedi is incredibly user-friendly and hassle-free. Their knowledgeable team provides several ready-to-use guides upon signup. In the freight tech industry, dealing with EDI can be a bit antiquated, but Stedi allows us to stay focused on what we do best. Their modern API solution enables us to effortlessly connect and start trading EDI files with multiple partners within just a few days. It's a game-changer for us!

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

We have had to undergo a few upgrades to our core service since we have been with Stedi but most of this has been handled by their team internally and minimal involvement from our engineers. The product continues to shine through each enhancement.

**What problems is Stedi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stedi allows us to seamlessly connect with several trading partners without having to become experts in the EDI field. Trading files like 210 and 214 are inevitable in the logistics industry but Stedi makes it easy for us to stay focused on our product while establishing trading with several vendors - saving us time and money.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

Stedi is one of the few software platforms that I truly think is doing everything right. It abstracts the cumbersome technical complexities of EDI, liberating me from file parsing, validation, SFTP setup, etc.. It allows me to devote my energy to the actual utilization of the data we exchange via EDI, rather than burning time on technical minutiae. It similarly streamlines the procedural complexity and required background knowledge by baking in a wealth of institutional knowledge. My own understanding of EDI has grown substantially through my interaction with the Stedi ecosystem.

It strikes a perfect balance between comprehensive feature coverage and intuitiveness. There’s very little you can’t do and very little that’s hard to figure out. In my experience, such a balance is a rare find, as complexity often seems to rise in tandem with feature richness. 

On the rare occasion that I find a Stedi feature to be confusing, they answer questions quickly and thoroughly. On the rare occasion I need a feature that Stedi doesn’t have, they really listen to feature requests and prioritize things that are blocking (but again, this is rare — Stedi possesses a borderline freaky ability to anticipate user needs). 

Stedi has been nothing short of exceptional, I really can’t recommend it strongly enough.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

I think the closest thing to a pitfall is that the Stedi team moves very quickly so there’s some amount of maintenance that’s needed to keep our software up to date with Stedi’s evolving feature set. The Stedi team is really helpful in that process though, and has provided support and tooling that’s allowed us to update things without any interruption of service and minimal friction on our end.

Stedi solves a ton of EDI infrastructure problems, including hosting, authorization management, data validation, etc. It saves us an immense amount of engineering work and enables us to integrate very quickly with new partners.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

1. Product UI is extremely easy to use to add new guides & mappings
2. Easy to debug where transactions have failed
3. Sample to guide auto creation tool is incredible
4. Customers support is top notch (s/o to Haadi)

TLDR: You can go from no EDI experience to a live connection in hours.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

I don't have anything that comes to mind - the Stedi team is extremely responsive to our questions and is thoughtful about adding product requests to their roadmap that will benefit all customers.

**What problems is Stedi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stedi breaks down the challenge of "hey EDI is really difficult to understand" and creates components that allows modern technology platforms to spin up connections in hours instead of weeks.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

Online EDI reference guides that conform to ANSI X12 standards allowed us to rapidly onboard new trading partners. The ability to inspect ingestion errors and see clear reasons further accelerated the onboarding process.

Engineers can see a raw EDI message and its JSON equivalent side-by-side. That allows them to better understand the specification from a customer's perspective. As customers share raw EDI examples, we can connect the dots. This is not possible on other EDI platforms.

Customer support has been easy to reach and helpful. We feel that we truly have a integration partner in Stedi.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

Observability of production issues (e.g. broken webhook, files that failed to ingest for legitimate reasons) required additional plumbing. While Stedi.com has 2 beautiful dashboards, dashboards are only useful when someone looks at them. We needed to go a step further and proactively raise attention to people who can do something about the problem. Stedi's destination webhooks allow us to do that. Having an in-platform alert system would be helpful.

**What problems is Stedi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Despite ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards, every carrier has a slightly different EDI implementation. Stedi allows us to work from the standard back to the carrier's unique EDI specification and easily align.

Stedi also provides SFTP infrastructure and audit trail needed for a successful EDi integration.

Stedi has been absolutely great to work with since we onboarded. As a team, we had very little knowledge about EDI, and Stedi helped get us up to speed quickly so that we could begin exhanging data with customers and meet all requirements set out by our trading partners.

I have had no issues with Stedi in our time working together.

Stedi is allowing us to exhange data with new customers who have EDI requirements. As we have started to grow our wholesale platform as a business, this has become increasingly more common when onboarding new customers and Stedi has made it seamless to do so and learn along the way.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

Stedi transformed what used to take months of manual interaction with customers into a couple of days to complete an integration and most of that work is on the API side. We are an API shop that needs to be sensitive to the EDI world to expand our reach in the transportation industry and Stedi has provided a product and leadership to help us accomplish our goals. The support from their team has exceeded expectation and their ability to understand our needs and present the right feature set to meet those needs was the difference between failure and success in the EDI world.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

There is not much to dislike. This platform resolved a major blocker in our integration process.

Stated above. We are an API shop that now has an efficient means to grow our business leveraging companies that use EDI.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

I have STEDI in my workflow on a day to day basis. It was incredibly easy to set up and get started! Anytime I have an issue or an inquiry, the STEDI team is incredibly responsive and will work towards getting a solution as quick as possible. Their response time has tremendously helped our adoption of the tool. STEDI's ease of integration into our ecosystem has made for the product experience to be incredible.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

The biggest downside to Stedi is that they are still growing. A lot of my pain is a bit of the manual work I have to do for setup; however, Stedi has provided us with a lot of support to overcome these inconveniences with hands on support from their end. I know they are still developing features to make a lot of the manual work automatable and I am looking forward to when that happens.

**What problems is Stedi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stedi has built out the translation and the data mapping of these opaque files into a scaleable and easy to use product that I am able to consume right out of the box.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

While most EDI companies will constantly tell you they're the best simply because they have 20 years of experience, Stedi SHOWS they're the best by guiding you through the entire process.  They're not just a software company but they're a reliable team who can guide you through the process. 

I went from not knowing what EDI was to embedding an EDI flow within our software in just a few weeks.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

The team is incredible and the tool they've built has been built to address most use cases of EDI.  What this means though is that it's still pretty complex to learn and get onboarded.  However, I believe their customer support and onboarding more than helps with this.

**What problems is Stedi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to embed EDI in our product and bypass companies like SPS and CommerceHub by providing an immediate value to our customers.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

Great product and API documentation that made building out our integration much easier. As someone who had barely any knowledge of EDI before working with Stedi, I appreciated the wellspring of knowledge from the Stedi folks and their docs, blog posts, etc. 

Their customer service is unrivaled. They were proactive in helping us get set up, offering to handle some of the more tedious but necessary steps, and walked us through all of the different components needed for integration and implementation. They have also continued to keep us informed of any updates and upgrades, and have been prompt and responsive whenever we run into any issues.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

As the company and product evolves, the shape of the integration has changed and has required us to update our integration a couple times. However, we are always given advance notice and a lot of support in the process.

**What problems is Stedi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stedi helps us connect with partner companies via EDI. These partners typically do not support any other data transfer methods, so having Stedi help us integrate with these partners has been invaluable. Using Stedi has made it fast and easy to integrate with new partners, while having full customization of what data goes between us and our partners.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

There are many aspects of Stedi that are fantastic, but the selling point for us was their amazing customer support. Seriously. Our team was on a very short timeline for a new client and Stedi helped us not only meet the deadline but finish the work sooner. 

Their team has been nothing but helpful and knowledgeable for the entirety of our project. They are always willing to help and will go the extra mile to make sure we get what we need.

The platform is easy to learn and navigate. In comparison to many other competitors out there, Stedi provides a user friendly platform for a low price.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

There were several features that our client requested from us that Stedi wasn't able to support initially. However, they were quick to provide us with alternatives and workarounds and added several features to the roadmap for future release.

Stedi is handling complex and massive 834 files and allowing us to easily onboard new client.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

Stedi balances a very user friendly experience and self serve tools with hands on support. Our contacts at Stedi consistently help us strategize how best to approach our new EDI projects. They are experts; This is evident in how they have designed their product and how they have supported it's integration with ours.

Our engineering team was tasked with integrating with Stedi within a fairly short timeframe, and we were able to get everything set up in record time. Typically, an EDI integration project would make everyone involved sweat, but Stedi has streamlined this process to the point of painlessness. Our team continues to be happy in our partnership with Stedi.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

At points, we have run into use cases or EDI nuances that are not covered by Stedi. In spite of this, the Stedi team is quick to communicate where a feature sits on the roadmap (and often accellerate it). This transparency has been crucial for us to hit deadlines.

Handling large and complex EDI files with ease and quickly setting up new connections.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

Stedi is very developer friendly and comes with a lot of things out of the box (including example files and schemas) that make developing EDI integrations just as easy as API integrations. Their platform is improving almost weekly, and the team does a great job of sharing their roadmap. 

They have the best customer support, and very smart engineers who are familiar with the wide range of EDI challenges that come up in the real world.

Other platforms we looked sell solutions that are much more expensive, custom, and oriented towards a sort of "IT buyer". Stedi is built for API-native engineers who don't have to know much about EDI to start.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

It would be really nice if they had consolidated invoices.

**What problems is Stedi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stedi makes it easy for us to integrate with new partners and have a good audit layer on top of how we exchange health information with our partners. 

It is important that they are developer friendly, SOC II and HIPAA compliant, and product-focused versus "services/solutions" focused.

**What do you like best about Stedi?**

There's a long list of what I like best about Stedi, but the absolute top of the list if the Stedi team themselves. This can be summed up with: Best in class in customer support. My company is a lean startup that moves extremely fast and the Stedi platform and the Stedi team enable us to work through 10+ EDI integrations concurrently, with new partners, in a month. The amount of institutional knowledge and experience that the Stedi team brings to the table is complimentary to an amazing UI & Product. Personally I'm in the Stedi UI everyday working on new partnerships and existing partnerships.

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

Stedi takes care of 95% of features my company needs to conduct quick EDI integrations. The other 5% need to be queued into Stedi's development roadmap. When we need a feature that encompasses this 5%, Stedi is quick to give us a timeline on when it will be available and goes out of their way to recommend alternate approaches to working around the feature set and getting the integration accomplished.

Stedi is our hosting, specifcation building, and mapping provider enabling us to onboard 5+ partners every single month.

Stedi has made working with EDI as easy as importing an SDK. Excellent customer service as well - we've had many discussions with the Stedi team that have helped us meet our requirements, and learned a lot by using their platform

**What do you dislike about Stedi?**

If you are not technical, or work with a legacy technical stack, you may not find it as easy to get started using Stedi. But probably most people working on integrations are going to be technical.

Hosting and managing the variety of EDI connections that one may have to use can be painful. Stedi puts this in a common and modern platform.

There's not much that I dislike about Stedi, because I know any time there is an area for improvement or simplification Stedi is on it.

Stedi is intuitive and very powerful. It allows your to speed up implementation times greatly. Customer support is direct and extremely helpful.

Nothing specifically - they are continuously improving their docs, which is great.

Orchestrating event based procedures to handle EDI is time consuming. Stedi handles it out of the box.
