# What PSA software works best for small to mid-size IT services companies that need something solid but not enterprise-priced?

Here's the situation I keep running into when researching for smaller IT shops: plenty of capable PSA tools exist, but a lot of them clearly assume you're a large operation with a matching budget. So I went looking through professional services automation reviews from small-business users specifically, to find options that feel solid without the enterprise price tag. Here's what I'm hoping to find, and the four that kept surfacing.

What I want is something a small IT team can actually afford and run without a dedicated admin, that still handles tickets, time and billing properly.

Syncro comes up a lot here, with small-business reviewers pointing to flat per-technician pricing rather than per-device fees, a simple interface and RMM alerts that flow straight into tickets.

SuperOps gets described as affordable packages that replace several separate systems, with easy deployment and Xero and Hudu integrations, though a couple of reviewers felt pricing was creeping up.

Naverisk draws praise from small MSPs for being fully featured and reliable with pricing that fits, plus an interface new staff pick up with minimal training.

HaloPSA is described as all-in-one with automation that adapts to how the MSP works and a modern interface, though reviewers are honest that it can be overwhelming to set up and costs more than the most basic tools.

For the small and mid-size IT folks here, where did you land, and did the pricing stay reasonable as you added technicians? Did any of these turn out to be more tool than a lean team could realistically use?

The small IT shop PSA problem is real. Everything either assumes you have 50 technicians or charges like you do. Finding something in the middle that doesn't nickel and dime you per device is harder than it should be.
