## Squarespace Reviews
 ### 1. Great Integrations and Beginner-Friendly Tools, but Customization Feels Limited

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martha V. | Behavioral Health Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

It does offer a lot of integrations and tools for folks with no website design experience. For new business owners that aren't trying to spend a fortune on their site, it's great as it allows building of aesthetically pleasing websites, and tons of help to improve traffic and engagement.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

For people with some website design knowledge, the ability to customize and adjust more "under the hood" things is not easy, let alone intuitive. Squarespace forces you to use their layout, and changing that is simply impossible. If you prefer more freedom with your design, it may be frustrating to work with. It also doesn't perform as well on some browsers (firefox seems to be best for editing).

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me with finding ways to promote my website and understand SEO / AI Visibility tools and how I can use them to attract clients. It also offers options for integrations if I don't have my own, while allowing for integrations I'm already working with.

 ### 2. Streamlined, Easy-to-Manage Pages/Shop But Creative Limits

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haley M. | O, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

The walled garden approach. It is nice that it limits some things, so it keeps the site/brand more focused. It is easy to navigate and edit and keep things streamlined to be aesthetic. Easily able to navigate and monitor marketing benchmarks for performance os specific topics/campaigns/etc. Really love the ease of setting up a shop to sell products and services on the site... that may be my favorite part compared to other ones I have dealt with.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

A double edged sword, but I do dislike the limitations around creativity and setting up pages for the website. It is nice in a lot of ways, but the limitations can also be frustrating.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ROI for selling services and products, having a brand at the forefront of competition in the digital backyard of our area, a place for clients to easily navigate and find all resources.

 ### 3. Squarespace: Effortless to Use, Packed with Evolving Design Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucia C. | Brand Strategy Consultant + Website Designer + Copywriter + Photographer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

We love the ease of use of Squarespace. It seamlessly integrates with some of our favorite products and consistently offers new design tools. As website designers, we appreciate the developers interface as well as the forward facing structure for novice business owners. They offer chat and email support, with useful articles on just about every subject you may need help with. We have used Squarespace for more than 10 years and love how they've adjusted and adapted in that timeframe.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

We would love to see them roll out better calendar tools, like recurring events.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For business owners that do not want their website managed, Squarespace is an all-in-one solution that does not require the constant maintenance needed by platforms like Wordpress.

 ### 4. Popular and Easy to Create, but Feels Geared Towards Retailers

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alphonse T. | Senior Manager, Global Communications, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Squarespace is probably the most well-known website builder for laypeople, and its widespread use makes it easier to share templates and tips. The pricing model is generally affordable as an organizational user.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

It feels more geared toward web shops than toward broader organizational needs, especially if you’re mainly trying to build a general informational website. Some of the widgets and design elements are tricky to manage, and they can feel wonky when you try to use them or customize them.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It offers a basic web builder platform for microsites that’s quick and easy to set up when you don’t have a dedicated designer. The templates feel familiar and are generally solid, providing a good overall UX.

 ### 5. Drag-and-Drop Ease with Beautiful Templates and Custom Navigation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delon R. | Graphic Designer, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

What I like most about Squarespace is the ability to drag and drop objects which saves time from having to program i in the code, organise the headers in each webpage, set custom navigation for the different sections of the webpage. included are prebilt templates that are organised by theme to start building without setting everything from scratch, live website viewer, custom typefaces, and

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

What I dislike about Squarespace is that the SEO needs a little work. In search results, it takes a little longer, even though the website domain and header tags are set correctly, unsure whether it's the crawlers or user experience of the site. Unsure exactly how this would be implemented, but fixes are achievable

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace makes it easier to format a site without having to wonder which typefaces go well together, and it benefits me by saving time I’d otherwise spend searching for typefaces. Squarespace also includes a wide variety of templates in the plans chosen and has built-in security, which saves me time setting up a lot of the back-end systems when uploading the site to the web domain.

 ### 6. Easy Invoicing and Client Management for Home Remodeling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raina P. | Assistant project coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

It’s very easy to use, especially for creating invoices for my business. I do home remodeling, and it helps a lot when I need to quickly put together an estimate, invoice, or proposal. I also like the different options it offers, and the fact that I can keep my clients and all their information right there in one place.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about this service. My experience using it has been entirely positive.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like that I can create an estimate and send it to clients quickly, so they clearly understand the price and the work to be performed. It’s also helpful that I can include different estimate options for them to choose from.

 ### 7. Effortless Website Creation with Professional Templates

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayush A. | Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Squarespace offers clean and intuitive website building experience. Drag and drop features feels smooth and the templates look professionally built without heavy customization. What I like most is how quickly I can go from an idea to a fully functional site. It is good especially for portfolios, blogs, and small business pages. The platform handles the technical side (hosting, SSL, performance & analytics, SEO) effortlessly, so I can focus entirely on design and content.
The biggest upside is the ease of implementation. Even without design or coding experience, you can build a visually appealing website within a few hours. The pre-built layouts, block-based sections, and styling tools are thoughtfully organized, which reduces learning curve. Squarespace’s integrated features like built-in analytics, email marketing, ecommerce, scheduling tools, finances, and SEO basics make it feel like an all-in-one solution. For someone who uses it frequently, it saves a lot of time compared to juggling multiple third-party plugins and integrations.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

While it’s very smooth to use, Squarespace can sometimes feel restrictive for people who want full customization or access to deeper technical controls. The editor, although polished, can occasionally be slow or imprecise when trying to make small layout adjustments. The pricing also feels slightly high for users who only need basic features. Trying to make it very dynamic and integrate it with Git can get frustating.
The biggest downside is the limited flexibility when compared to open-source platforms. Some integrations require workarounds, and advanced functionality often depends on custom code injections, which aren’t beginner-friendly. Customer support is helpful but not always fast, especially during peak hours. The number of features is solid, but certain capabilities like more advanced SEO controls, deeper ecommerce customization like Shopify, and broader plugin availability are still missing. If you plan to scale a very complex website, the platform may feel a bit boxed-in and it does go out-of-memory or becomes slow in case you have too many pages.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace solves the problem of building a website which looks professionally built without investing excessive time, technical expertise, or developer resources. It eliminates the complexity of hosting, theme management, security updates, and plugin maintenance everything is managed in one place. For me, this means I can focus completely on building content and growing my online presence instead of troubleshooting technical issues or spending time on development. The built-in analytics, email campaigns, ecommerce tools, finance management, and scheduling features also reduce the need for multiple separate platforms, saving both cost and effort. Overall, Squarespace helps streamline my workflow, speeds up website creation, and makes it effortless to maintain a professional digital presence.

 ### 8. Effortless Website Management with Customization Potential

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** K A. | Founder, Host, Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I like Squarespace for how graphical and content-focused it is, which makes it very easy to use with its WYSIWYG interface. It's also customizable, making it simple to train clients so they can update things themselves. Compared to other CMS options like WordPress, it's much easier to see and understand your own edits, with fewer bugs and better security since it doesn't get hacked. Squarespace feels more mobile and less clunky than manual methods like Dreamweaver and server-side edits. I always switch my clients to Squarespace from platforms like WordPress, Wix, or Tumblr. The initial setup for Squarespace is always a breeze. I always recommend Squarespace to others and rate it a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

I always want more customization. They continually update it but I seem to always be stretching the limits. You can add snippets of code here and there and workaround things, but essentially the formats are the same. Also, you can’t upload videos to a gallery template.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace helps with content organization and presentation, making it easier to see and understand edits compared to WordPress. It's less buggy, doesn't get hacked, and is mobile-friendly, enhancing ease of use and the ability to train clients.

 ### 9. Easy Setup, But Customer Service Is Hard to Reach

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mrs. Phyllis C. | Owner, Music, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Getting started with the website builder was easy enough, and the overall setup felt straightforward. I also appreciated having a free trial period, which was definitely a plus.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

The lack of easily accessible customer service really turned me off. On top of that, the pricing felt a bit high as well.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Squarespace, I was able to secure a domain name and build a website. That's been a real benefit for my new business, which didn't have a landing page for quite a while, and it helped me finally get an online presence up and running.

 ### 10. Simplified Website Management with Powerful SEO Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** alpana c. | Search Engine Optimization Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I appreciate Squarespace for its ease of use, especially compared to WordPress, which I've used for over a decade. Squarespace makes it simpler with user-friendly widgets that are just drag-and-drop. Everything you need is built inside, so I can easily copy and paste a WordPress article, and it handles the formatting like headings and alt text smoothly. I love that it offers a dashboard where I can study website traffic without needing extensive knowledge in SEO. Also, setting everything up and maintaining plugins is quite easy. The dashboard's ability to conduct market research and study trends right there is impressive, and you don't need to know a lot about SEO to understand what's happening on your website. Also, the initial setup was very easy, making Squarespace an excellent choice.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

The ability to micromanage things in Squarespace is limited compared to WordPress. You can't customize or add JavaScript as freely as you can with WordPress. Using tools like in links isn't the same on Squarespace as it is on WordPress. The technical SEO aspects, like schema files, feel a bit outdated and need to be updated.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Squarespace easy to use for website management, especially with SEO optimization. It simplifies editing, doesn't require coding, and offers beautiful, user-friendly designs. The dashboard allows me to monitor traffic and trends without needing advanced SEO knowledge. It's cost-effective and facilitates market research.

 ### 11. Poor Support and Domain Management Issues with Squarespace

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chelsea E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Absolutely nothing

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

Squarespace is the worst. They have not allowed us to continue to pay for the domain even though we have submitted the feather certificate, bill of sale showing the domain is now ours, and the business EIN registration. Communication is through chat or email. We are constantly redirected to other departments and never get any resolution. We have had to spend countless hours changing domains and emails for a business that has been running for 6 years. Having to contact all existing clients and potential clients of the change in hopes they understand.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace creates problems for me. They haven't allowed us to pay for our domain despite having all required documents, and their support is just chat or email with no resolution.

 ### 12. Effortless Website Building, Needs Better E-Commerce Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsten M. | Search Engine Optimization Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I use Squarespace for my own website and some clients also use it. I find it to be an easy website platform that allows me to build a very professional and user-friendly website without needing a web developer or coding experience. I really appreciate the ease of use and the ability to update the site myself or for clients with ease. The initial setup was fairly easy, and there are enough tutorials and videos online that solve most issues.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

The e-commerce integrations and tracking setups are not great with Squarespace compared with Shopify for example.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace allows me to build a professional and user-friendly website without needing a developer or coding skills. It's easy to use and lets me update sites easily for myself or clients.

 ### 13. Effortless Website Management with Limited Design Flexibility

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentina T. | Chief of Staff, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I love that managing our company websites on Squarespace is incredibly easy, and the best part is that you don't need to know anything about development to use it. The website update process is straightforward and user-friendly, meaning any employee can do it without needing to be a developer. The initial setup of Squarespace was pretty easy for our team, as it's straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

The fact that it is so easy to use, it also makes it very limited in terms of design. Give more flexibility when editing, everything is very limited, especially when you use their template you can barely change anything.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace makes it easy to manage and update our company websites without needing development skills. Any employee can update the site, making it accessible and straightforward.

 ### 14. Effortless Website Management with Stunning Designs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa E. | Digital marketing and communications officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I love Squarespace for its ease of use and sleek, professional designs. It makes managing my organisations website. It is simple to use, allowing me to focus on content, not coding, while keeping everything visually polished and accessible.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

There could be more interactive features and booking facilities.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 15. Easy, does the job

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikki E. | Email consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Easy builder, nice templates, out of the box extras like SEO or LLM readability

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

All website builders are clunky, they're just the least clunky I've tried. I don't know why I can't make a page template instead of having to use theirs which means I have to start from scratch again (or just copy a different page). But I honestly haven't played around a lot, I just put something together and it's good enough.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solid web presence

 ### 16. Squarespace Makes Building Pro-Level Sites Easy—No Coding Needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom G. | Director of Web Experience, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Squarespace’s ease of use is hard to beat. Even so, its most recent feature upgrades, like Finish Layer, give users without coding skills the ability to create websites that can rival what you might produce in Webflow and similar tools.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

While there have been recent advances with the asset library it still doesn't compare to Wordpress.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating engaging websites while maintaining a consistent aesthetic can be challenging, and Squarespace makes that goal more attainable for most web designers.

 ### 17. All-in-One Features Make Website Building Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadia F. | Founder & Virtual Executive Assistant, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

My favorite thing about Squarespace is the number of features it offers. I love to DIY, but don't want to have to worry about looking for what I need for my website from a bunch of different sources. Additionally, the ease of use is fantastic, again for a DIYer, I feel the interface is intuitive from start to finish.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

I don't love the pricing however I accept that is a tradeoff for the convenience and confidence I have in their products rather than second guessing whether I did it right.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I build an online presence for my business, having a website, personalized email, etc., is important to me. As a first-time entrepreneur, though, I didn't have the budget to outsource a website build, but I also didn't want to skimp. Squarespace is a trusted name, and that gave me confidence not only in purchasing from them but also in building my site and troubleshooting any minor issues. While I am not a website builder nor do I market that service, I've been able to recommend Squarespace to multiple clients and build beautiful but straightforward websites for them.

 ### 18. Effortless Design and Seamless Integration with Squarespace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David K. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I love Squarespace for its ease of use and the ability to scale up design with custom code when needed. The built-in website design and building tools are great, and Squarespace provides incredible support and reliability. It's also very easy to inject and add custom code like CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, which is super helpful for our team. The initial setup was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

We would love if they could continue to improve their other website add-on products such as Member Areas, invoicing, courses, and paywall content.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace cuts down design and development time, allows our agency to create high quality, high performing websites with minimal support, and offers reliability and ease of use with tools and support for custom code like CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.

 ### 19. Intuitive, Seamless Integrations, and Rock-Solid Uptime

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz K. | Sales and Marketing, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Squarespace is the #1 website building platform I recommend and use when building websites. It is the most intuitive, easiest to use, doesn't allow things to be outside specific parameters while providing flexibility. Everything needed for integrations is simple and seemless. I've had 100% uptime and never had my website flagged for bad performance. Pricing is great no matter what plan you choose. Support is always super helpful if you can't find what you need in the resources.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

Not much, just wish I could get more people to use it compared to others.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the best and most efficient website builders and all in one marketing platforms on the market for small and medium sized businesses.

 ### 20. Great Templates, Challenging Customization

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** CherylAnn C. | Owner/Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I like that the templates in Squarespace are fresh and look up to date. They appear contemporary and more youthful, which is attractive to people visiting the website.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

I do not like the way when you type in text or try to put a button in a certain place that it doesn't allow you to keep it in that place. It's difficult to edit the text and have it appear in an aesthetic way on both desktop and mobile. Creating a nice looking website was deceivingly simple, but it's not as easy to make things sit the way you want. When I try to stick a graphic or put a sentence somewhere, it looks really wonky sometimes. It's difficult to put things right where you want them, and that part has been really annoying.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace is a good platform for building a website since I'm out of practice with other tools.

 ### 21. Excellent Templates and Customization Without Coding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John P. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Everything about Squarespace is excellent. There is a great blend of prebuilt templates along with customizable features. You don’t have to be able to code to use this software.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

The disadvantages of Squarespace have been minimal. Most things have worked flawlessly. The Squarespace app does not function well on my phone.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace is providing a high quality website that is easy to create and maintain for my business.

 ### 22. Intuitive Editing, but Clunky Item Movement Can Frustrate

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ollie J. | Festival Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Some of the controls are very intuitive, such as uploading images and amending website pages

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

Moving items around can be very clunky and cause a great degree of frustration when the system doesn't work for you

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making website design and hosting accessible for all - it works hand in hand with Canva to allow small businesses to promote and grow without the huge expense of a website designer

 ### 23. Unbelievably Fast Website Launches with Squarespace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt L. | Owner, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

The speed at which I can launch a new website via Squarespace is unbelievable. I love that I can go from concept to full website design in just a few minutes. If I run into a tricky design problem it's a piece of cake to jump over to ChatGPT, have it generate some quick CSS and I'm off and running. I use it to run five websites currently.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

Occasionally some of the themes can be a bit limiting. For example you are limited to the number of button styles available to you and if you want to have a button that really stands out it can be tricky to make happen. This is a minor gripe for me.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to stand up websites extremely fast. It's very helpful for setting up a proof-of-concept with potential clients without requiring an initial investment from them.

 ### 24. Effortless Website Design with Limited Flexibility

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ambar L. | Web Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I used Squarespace to build and manage websites. It's a useful all-in-one platform for creating clean, visually appealing sites. What I like most is the quality of its design templates and how consistent and polished websites look out of the box. Squarespace also works well for non-technical users; the editor is intuitive and content updates, like text and images, are easy to manage. The design templates provide a strong visual foundation, which speeds up the design process and ensures a professional look without much effort. Additionally, the user-friendly editor allows for easy adjustments to content and layouts, enabling quicker updates and making it simple for clients to manage their sites without technical support. Also, the initial setup is easy.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

For more complex websites, Squarespace can feel limited. Layout flexibility and deeper customizations are not as easy compared to other platforms. More layout flexibility would be a big improvement, especially allowing freer positioning of elements without relying on custom CSS. Also, better control over spacing, responsive behavior, and advanced design options directly in the editor would make customization.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace solves the need for quickly building and launching visually polished websites without much setup, making it convenient for simpler projects.

 ### 25. Easy to Edit Templates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessie K. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

The fact that there's an array of templates that fit my needs and the ability to edit them to align with my brand at ease

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

Nothing that comes to mind at this point

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to have products on my website and my domain all through square space

 ### 26. Easy to Use with Great Templates and Support, but Pricing Feels High

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chani M. | Founder- Living Happy for High Achieving Professionals - By Chani Mehlman, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

What I like most is how easy it is to use, along with the customer service and the templates.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

The cost felt high for what they offer, especially compared to their competitors. Each year, they increased the price of my plan, even though I wasn’t using many of the features.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help you build websites using drag-and-drop templates. Overall, it makes creating a website simple and easy.

 ### 27. Creative, User-Friendly Platform for Stylish Websites and Email Campaigns

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie B. | Business Support Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Squarespace is a very creative and user-friendly platform! We use it for our website and email campaigns. I had no idea how to set things up, but it turned out to be surprisingly easy to configure. Squarespace allows us to create stylish posts effortlessly.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

We don't really use Squarespace for anything complex. I would say it does the work for our business. If I were to compare with other platforms, I think there are cheaper alternatives that can be considered.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good for beginners.

 ### 28. Intuitive Design and Flexible Customization Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen F. | Creative & Marketing Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I like that Squarespace offers a platform that makes great design easy, but allows enough customization for advanced users to personalize their website. The interface is straightforward and the learning curve is moderate. Thoughtful UX design makes the design interface intuitive. It was reasonably easy to convert my existing site to Squarespace and integrate with custom forms designed in 17hats, my preferred CRM system.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

I dislike the many "add-ons" that now cost extra. I'd prefer an all-in-one platform price.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace saves me time by offering plug-and-play design tools that make it straightforward to update my site without needing to code or program blocks.

 ### 29. Beautiful, Easy Plug-and-Play Design—But Limited When You Need Custom Integrations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark t. | Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Squarespace made plug-and-play design very easy. The interface is beautiful. The performance is great. The price is reasonable. The integrations it has work flawlessly.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

If you need a customization or integration that Squarespace doesn't support, you are stuck.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick and easy way to get a website out there in initial stages of launch.

 ### 30. Great for Small Business, But Can It Scale?

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monica D. | Shop Owner/ Freelance AI Specialist, Apparel & Fashion, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Stunning Templates: Squarespace really shines here. The templates are modern, clean, and immediately make your products look professional. If your business is highly visual (like art, photography, or high-end retail), this is a huge win.

Ease of Use: It's an all-in-one platform, which is great for non-technical users. Setting up the basics—adding products, customizing pages—is very intuitive. You don't need to mess with separate hosting, security, or many third-party plugins.

Integrated Commerce Tools: The built-in inventory, tax, and shipping settings are straightforward and sufficient for a small-to-medium-sized operation.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

Limited Scalability & Integrations: If you plan to scale rapidly, manage thousands of products, or need deep integrations with niche third-party software (like specific accounting or warehouse management tools), you might eventually feel restricted. It's not as robust as a dedicated e-commerce giant like Shopify.

Less Flexibility: While the templates are gorgeous, the design freedom is more contained than platforms like WordPress. If you need highly complex or custom layouts outside the template structure, it can be a bit challenging.

Pricing: The higher-tier commerce plans can get pricey, and you need to be on a commerce-specific plan to avoid transaction fees (which is a must-have for any serious seller).

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem Solved: Technical Complexity (Coding & Hosting)
Squarespace Solution: It is an all-in-one platform with a What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) or drag-and-drop editor. It bundles the hosting, domain, and site builder together.

Benefit: You don't need to learn to code or worry about separate web hosting, installing software, or managing servers. This makes launching your online presence fast, non-technical, and accessible to anyone.

Problem Solved: Inconsistent or Unattractive Design
Squarespace Solution: It offers a curated collection of professionally designed, mobile-responsive templates.

Benefit: Your website looks high-end, credible, and polished right out of the box, without needing to hire a web designer. Your site will also automatically look great and function well on all devices (desktops, tablets, and phones).

 ### 31. Review For SquareSpace Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenny D. | SquareSpace Website Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I love the easy drag and drop features and also the clean and high quality pictures.
Ease of Use, Ease of Integration and Ease of Implementation

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

Just the fact that it's limited to designs
You can't add some effects

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace is solving the problem of needing a professional, visually appealing, and functional website without having to code or hire a full development team. It offers built-in design tools, templates, hosting, SEO features, and e-commerce capabilities all in one platform.

This benefits me by saving time, reducing technical complexity, and letting me focus on design, branding, and business goals instead of worrying about backend setup or maintenance. Everything is integrated, so I can launch projects faster, make quick updates, and maintain a consistent professional look across devices.

 ### 32. The best platform for small businesses!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amrita N. | Website designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I've built my career designing websites on this platform, so you can say that I am in love with almost all the features! However, the best part about Squarespace is that it makes it easy even for non-coders or non-technical people to manage their websites while website designers like me can enhance the platform's native capabilities by adding custom code. The fluid editor is very responsive and intuitive and makes creating new pages a breeze!

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

I'd love to see more animations and editing tools!

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace provides website building and hosting services, which makes it easy for me to build websites for clients very quickly. You can also purchase a domain directly from them. Even non-technical clients find it easy to manage their own websites, which is why I recommend this platform to so many people!

 ### 33. Simple and User-Friendly for Non-Technical Business Owners

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan M. | Director of Digital Growth, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Simple to use for less technical business owners.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

Lack of features and customization for professional developers.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace is a great site platform for less technical business owners and makes it easy to launch a website, no matter your technical skillset.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** simon l. | Founder and Designer at Luntdesign, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I find Squarespace easy to use for designing websites, and my clients find it easy too. I really appreciate how they improve the system all the time by adding new features weekly and taking on feedback. The initial setup was really easy for me, especially since I'm quite clever with technical stuff.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

nothing

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace is easy for me to use and clients find it easy too. They improve the system all the time, adding new features weekly and taking on feedback.

 ### 35. Easy-to-Use Precoded Templates That Speed Up Design

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I like it's precoded templates and ease of use with most things.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

Despite the ease of use for most things, sometimes I wish you could just move things moreso how you'd like them, but everything has to be coded or done within the infrastructure of the code.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace allows a non-coder like myself to run our company website.

 ### 36. Easy to use and excellent Website Builder!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas T. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I have built several websites using Squarespace. I love how easy it was to learn, how easy it is to get help from the Squarespace community (Squarespace Circle) and maintaining websites from a agency standpoint. Integrations are also very easy! Custom coding available as well! Squarespace is becoming feature rich too with email marketing offerings too!

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

I can't say I have found anything I dislike about Squarespace. If you are looking for a more technical web builder then maybe?

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it primarily to build websites and manage them. I have started using email campaigns as well. It has helped me grow my business and become a reliable source as a web designer/builder.

 ### 37. The best website creator I have experienced

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Squarespace makes things infinitely faster, better-looking, easier to update and get a fantastic-looking website set up quickly and easily. I use it every single day for clients, and it is so much better than any other builder I have used. It's flexible, has amazing mobile responsiveness, has fast performance, and is great for SEO and schema. It integrates seamlessly with any embedded code needed, directly integrates with GA4, Search Console and other platforms. If you're thinking about making a website, I would recommend Squarespace over anything else, especially WordPress, which is eternally frustrating to use.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

I dislike the Events settings on Squarespace, the date does not have a time zone function (one can be added fairly easily with some custom CSS) and there isn't a recurring event function which can be time consuming if you have a weekly or daily event, but at that point making a dedicated landing page is worth while and a reasonable fix.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace makes creating custom beautiful and functional websites easy for clients and ourselves.

 ### 38. User Friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cardi G. | Salesperson, Retail, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

It is easy to customize my website, the many features help make my website unique. They offer email campaigns, which use and like a lot too.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

Pricing, I would like it if it was less in price to use and less for email campaigns. I use the email frequently so it is worth it, but could always be less.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me advertise my business. When I need to adjust features/images/prices of my products, it is easy to make those changes. Plus it saves me time when I do an email campaign instead of emailing individually.

 ### 39. Squarespace - Ultimate solution for your online business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mirjam H. | Artist And Founder at MH STUDIO I SHOP, Motion Pictures and Film, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I've been with Squarespace since 2013 and what I keep loving about it is the user interface which is clear, minimal, and simple to use even for nonweb developers. I've created numerous websites with them and keep staying because they are always on top of the market trends and technology developments. They offer designer-made templates to start building your website with integrated e-commerce, marketing and so much more. Squarespace customer support is one of the best I have ever talked with - always happy to help and quick to solve any issues that might come up. I use it daily and I love the additional integrations with other providers like Mailchimp or SEOspace to name just a few. I brought my domains from another provider and the steps to connect them with my websites were as easy as 1,2,3 but you can also get a domain straight from Squarespace. Implementation of my digital assets to my website is easy and smooth and I love referring to Squarespace resources page that includes in-depth articles and how-to videos. The support is just always there.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

There was just one thing that at first frustrated me and that was the process of switching from Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1. But I took it as a challenge and an opportunity to re-design my existing website so no harm feelings. And the abilities I have now with 7.1 are non-comparable.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me as an artist and founder to build not only my online presence to showcase my portfolio but also equips me with all the tools I need to succeed as an entreprenour with my own online shop.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lena R. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

Squarespace is easy to use for someone that is not technical at all. The templates are awesome. It's easy to figure out things you get stuck on with all of the resources provided. It's so intuitive. I have two websites for different parts of my business one e-commerce and one 'normal' website' and I love how easy they both are to buld and maintain.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

What I don't like is that a) I can't use my company font on the website, which means my branding doesn't match the rest of my branded marketing materials, b) Klarna is not available to add on UK Squarespace websites, and c) the DHL widget is not available to add to Squarespace to help with my shipping.

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

I appreciate how user-friendly Squarespace is for someone who is not adept to writing code, and only somewhat understands how SEO targeting works. This has been a helpful shift to grow my business.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

The thing I find least helpful so far is that while there are quite a few features that are very user-friendly for all stages of savviness, some of it feels superfluous. I wish some areas were condensed for ease of use.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grow my business, design a custom website.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa M. T. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Squarespace?**

SquareSpace is an easy to build website with so many formatting options that anyone can make a professional website. I currently run two robust websites with SquareSpace—one for my association's conference that I update each year and another website for an international awareness day. I love their analytics, easy to use and capture the information I need.

**What do you dislike about Squarespace?**

While Squarespace is very flexible in its layout and branding options, there are a few small tweaks I wish I could make, like having different colors for buttons or highlighted text on pages. It's a small inconveience, as the flexibility of the website far outweighs that request.

**What problems is Squarespace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Squarespace allows us to build dynamic websites that look fabulous! We've been using Squarespace for years so our templates are set and we update each year. I love that our speakers and exhibitors from past years can remain in the back end and we can turn them on and off each year with just one click. We have a very rich repository of content on the backend that saves us time when we launched our updated websites each year.
